Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft V3 - The Argent Tournament is GETTING IN HERE *Uhuhuhuh*

A wise man never underestimates a Shaman.
I came up with this:

It's more balanced because it doesn't summon any boombots until the next turn. Opinions?
Also I don't see how Rag is really useful.
He's a powerful Mad Bomber that fires a massive 8 damage shot, but it's random. It'll either hit the dangerous Mal'Ganis, or the wimpy annoy a tron.
Plus it's going to get wrecked next turn by everyone and anyone. Big Game Hunter, Shadowword: Death, polymorph, assassinate, etc.
I just do not see any use for him at all, besides gambling your luck.

I'm sad that my custom decks are failing hard against everything. I don't want to net deck, that's too easy and expensive.
Or maybe I just don't know how to custom deck since I'm not a hardcore TCG'er.
1. Mad Bomber can hit your own minions and your own face. Rag only hits things your opponent owns. Always.
2. Pay 8 mana for an immediate effect. Even if he's removed the turn after, you still got the 8 damage to hit something. Compare that to most other 8 mana minions.
3. Taking the chance on hitting the dangerous Mal'Ganis or the wimpy annoy-o-tron can be the difference between winning the game and losing it.
4. Playing Rag after your opponent has used all his removal (or has no answer) will typical win you the game. Aggro decks with no board presence typically have no way of removing Rag.
5. BY FIRE BE PURGED.

You should ensure that your deck has enough healing, sticky minions and control to deal with what's going to get thrown at you.

This is fairly typical. You're going up against decks that have been streamlined by seasoned players and have often been in meta circulation for months or even years.
My advice: Net deck. Not because its the only way to win or the things you make are bad, but because it'll help you learn how decks operate and why some cards work over others. The tried and true archetypes exist for a reason, but just because they've been done before doesn't mean that can't be improved on in order to better suit a meta game or tweaked in order to work in a slightly different way. You can cut out everything but a few core cards and rebuild it from the ground up, if you so choose. See what happens!
Once you've played with other decks you'll start to understand a handful of fundamental concepts of the game, and you can start applying those to your own creations. Perhaps most importantly you'll learn exactly what to expect when your opponents play certain cards because you'll have used them yourself and be familiar with how they'll try to win.
The 50 packs for 50 bucks seems like a pretty good deal for the pre-order.
But the idea of pre-ordering a card game seems way to silly.

Think of it this way. You're not paying $50 for 50 packs of digital cards, you're paying $50 for an exclusive digital cardback with an added bonus of 50 card packs. Think of all the money you can get by selling your Blizzard account in a few years for those desperate for old, unobtainable cardbacks.
I felt bad for the little rank 20 shaman who played turn 2 totem, turn 3 totem, turn 4 totem + vitality totem while I had turn 5 three mana Foe Reaper (unstable totem + 2 mechwarpers) among... other things.

I wish we got more cards with Foe-Reapers cleave, it's such a cool effect.
But then he wouldn't be a special snowflake anymore. :frown:
Eh, I was gonna just but a taunt for TF2 next week when I get my allowance, but I think instead I'll just go for Blackrock mountain so I can help myself better.
Also it's so nice to see this when I unpack cards

I had a dream last night Ben Brode came over to my house and nerfed Dr. Boom into a six mana 6-6 with the same battlecry. We were arguing if that was really a nerf or not. Maybe it's a sign..

Seems like a buff more than anything.
It would be cheaper, and no longer affected by Big Game Hunter.

That's what I kept saying but he wouldn't listen. Seems like a jerk tbh
in my dreams at least

this deck is the finest in Warlock tech, makes for the fastest ranking :ok:
I made more cards.

Of all the things a Piloted Shredder could give me, It had to be Milhouse
[t]http://i.imgur.com/BGMPx1p.png[/t]
Still won the game.
Also he kept pulling Doomsayers to wipe the board, but luckily I was able to Abuse Sarge the Mech Warper, and then put the buffed Cogmaster into it, and then Milhouse and something else for the second Doomsayer.
It's a strange card, it's fun to use, but pointless since it can be removed quickly.
That's neat.
What's never fucking neat is Comcast's tiny impotent cock being shoved into my internet, disguised as a "data cap".
Which means lagging out during important parts of my games, among other things.
Holy shit.
Windfury on Molten Rager on a clear board. Needless to say I lost that one in a heartbeat

I put out Antonidas. Oppenent responds with Cenarius... and Millhouse Manastorm. He became toast. He understood what he had done when I started clearing up the board with the spells I had and a fireball or two. From 30 health and 2 armor to dead on the same turn.

So what cards for the next expac are you guys looking forward to?
I'm really into that Fizzlebang and Mech Knight.
How are you guys doing in the new season? If you guys play ranked, at least.

Darnassus Panther Rider
2 mana 2/3 druid card
Battlecry: Gain an empty mana crystal
Deathrattle: Destroy a mana crystal
Shredder just got nerfed.
That's actually kinda interesting. You'd need to sink a Silence into it to avoid the Deathrattle, OR use a bounce card to return it to your hand and play it again to effectively get a free Crystal.

Thus ensuring that outside from gimmick decks and portal/shredder shenenigans this card will never see play in constructed.

I love the design for that card, I'm glad druid is getting these cards that encourage other type of druid decks and yes I love how it nerfs shredder as well. Happy with this one
I'm going to enjoy seeing the Wailing Soul deck

I was going to play aggro pally but got bored of it. So I whipped up a deathrattle shaman. I'm stuck at 20 but it's really fun to pull off those combos.

Well in that situation, I daresay the opponent truly... faced Jaraxxus.

The Culling Blade actually sounds cool. I was going to say it's just going to be used for Face Hunter, but then I realized it can't attack face (unless the opponent's almost dead). Not even sure if it's better than the Eaglehorn Bow though (8 damage vs. 9 damage if you can get your opponent to trigger a secret before you need to attack, otherwise 6 damage).
Not even sure about the Treant Protector. The idea also sounds cool, but as is, the stat-line is already better than Shieldbearer and Voidwalker...but at the same time it can't always trigger its effect, but it also has synergy with the other spells (Claw & Bite). This is the sort of card that I'd need to see in the game to see whether it's balanced or not.
Outright taking a card from the opponent is a big no-no.
Also a cool idea that I'm not even sure about. You'd obviously want to put this on something big and be in a matchup where there aren't a lot of little weenies to keep bopping it, or even then you can give it to something like a Voidwalker. Come to think of it, a 3-mana 2/4 with "Restore to full health whenever it survives damage and deal 2 damage to your hero" and Taunt sounds kinda nice for anti-aggro.

Imagine having a Baron Rivendare with that... :v:

Pretty well. Control Pally seems a really solid deck with this month's quirks and most common decks.
