They should make more big minion common cards so you could play things that aren't aggro on a budget. The new kraken is decent, but there should be 6 cost and especially 7 cost common cards that are actually competitive
New card is a 3 mana 4/2 that gains +2/+2 if you have a spell power minion on board. Battle cry effect. [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] [t]http://media.blizzard.com/hearthstone/images/the-grand-tournament/cards/master-of-ceremonies/en-us-full.png[/t]

Kind of a weird Battlecry.
Kobold Geomancer meta inbound. No candles shall be taken today.

No strings attached.
I can only see that getting played in Shaman.
There are cards for every class that give spell damage though, it's pretty good. Again it goes back to the point that there will be new decks so obviously right now you wouldnt see it in most of the decks being played.
I can only see that getting played in Shaman.
And Priest. You forgot Priest. So does everyone else who doesn't play Arena, but still.
And Priest. You forgot Priest. So does everyone else who doesn't play Arena, but still.
Priest is already struggling to fit in 3 drops though, I doubt this card is worth cutting Dark Cultist, Velen's or Injured Blademaster.
Thalnos super buffed by that card. Thalnos was already a top 10 legendary.
Priest is already struggling to fit in 3 drops though, I doubt this card is worth cutting Dark Cultist, Velen's or Injured Blademaster.
Velen's the reason it might see play in Priest decks. And I was thinking about the theoretical aggro priest. Just give him a little more draw Blizzard and it will happen.
I like that card

It fits that it has the Epic quality, but...wut. At least Spell Damage gimmick decks can be more effective now. :v:
kobold geomancer buff?
Since it buffs Geomancer and Thalnos, it technically also buffs Shredder.
Built an armor stack and taunt deck for my warrior. Pretty much everything that is cheap with taunt or gives armor is in my deck. I was just playing against a mage for the longest time, until he finally managed to drop a flamestrike and kill everything I had on the board, then drop a bunch of minions. But at that point I had like 25 health and another 20 stacks of armor. I dropped Deathwing after his move and he just quit that game. :v:

Like It should be 3/2.
Am I the only one who thinks the statline is a bit too high? Like It should be 3/2.
6 stats is the standard for 3 mana cards I'd rather it be 3/3 so it becomes a 5/5 and die slightly less
I thought the standard was (2 * Mana Cost) + 1 (so in this case, 7 stats)?
The card is fine the way it is!!!
I didn't say it was bad, it's perfectly fine as a 4/2. Weird as the card text may be.
dies to flamecannon but i guess if you've got a spell damage minion it could be a 50/50 that and turn 3/4 flamecannon is trash
A 6/4 for 3 mana is great and a 4/2 for 3 is still very playable. That card is great. Also I like a 4/2 slightly better than a 3/3 since it doesn't get shit on by those 3/4 three drops that the other player will be playing the turn before/after this comes down.

[editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] [t]http://media.blizzard.com/hearthstone/images/the-grand-tournament/cards/master-of-ceremonies/en-us-full.png[/t]
Obvious pick is shaman, but does this really fit well in shaman? With the new cards, shaman looks like it will have more than enough 3 drops, as well as having a problem with playing 3 mana minions on turn 3 due to the new 2 mana 3-4. It's certainly a great card, and probably will see lots of experimentation. A 3 mana 6-4 is crazy. Doesn't die to bgh and silencing it doesn't do much. Makes bloodmage thalnos a lot better, as well as potentially making kobold better. Think about this, thalnos is a 1-1 which dies easily. Kobold is a 2-2, so its a lot stickier in a way. Hero powers no longer kill it, and its at that awkward point where using removal on it feels weird. The other upside to kobold is you can have two in a deck, so its a lot more consistent. Perhaps Kobold will actually see play now(outside of budget miracle rogue). Obviously, decks that currently use thalnos probably won't consider this card, as thalnos is mostly used for the card draw. Sorry if my analyzing is annoying, I'll stop if you guys want. I just like analyzing each card, as its fun to see if any of my predictions are correct in the future.

It's makes for interesting looks and opinions on the new stuff revealed. On that note I feel as though the Epic tier of this card will make it pretty rare to see, honestly, even if it is pretty effective. I think we're more likely to see it in decks built around it then placed in faster decks that want to get that early value.

The epic tier means it won't be seen much, if at all in arena as well as being a pain to craft. It's similar to bloodknight in a way, in that its a really fun gimmick to pull off but probably won't be too competitive. Someone was suggesting it could be like a bloodknight, and gain +2/+2 for each spellpower minion. Honestly, spellpower minions(Only ones that see play in constructed are thalnos, azure drake, malygos, and spellpower totem. I'm probably forgetting a card.) are more rare to see than divine shield minions(Argent Squires, The new divine shield minions, minibot, and tirion), so it's still hard to estimate how much this will see play. The upside is it doesn't destroy the spellpower, and is a lot more flexible.
