I came up with another card. The idea is that it's a card-draw card that lets you draw at least one card (the start of the opponents turn), and forces the opponent to remove it unless they want to help you draw more cards. The downside is that if it sticks around, you can end up giving your opponent cards as well. It would also be useful in mill decks.

Come to think of it, would this be a Gang Up target?

How to instantly lose a game
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JpHOPFX.jpg[/t] well this is interesting
For the people who just couldn't get enough of that 10 mana Tavern Brawl. Worth noting that it doesn't specify empty crystals, so presumably you'd have an extra 6 mana to work with if you played this on curve for... Whatever reason.
Would have been a very good card for warlock. He could hero power on the turn he uses it and play a card, then play 2 cards every turn.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JpHOPFX.jpg[/t] well this is interesting
A gimmick card that will see play only in gimmick decks. Meh/10
I've only got the basic cards so I've been using a face Warrior to try and compete with the meta but it feels like the best cards I don't have.
I wonder if the effect can 'refresh' mana like Innervate can. Probably not.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JpHOPFX.jpg[/t] well this is interesting
For a second I thought the card costed 10 mana. :v: It is interesting, but oh god is it awful. UNLESS there are going to be cards that let you draw cards when its discarded and is somehow not Warlock-only.
I wonder if the effect can 'refresh' mana like Innervate can. Probably not.
You will have 10 full mana crystals after using this card. [editline]qwe[/editline] Actually I think I might be wrong, I'll try with Nourish. [editline]qwe[/editline] Using Nourish turn 10 and choosing 2 mana crystals will leave you at 7/10 mana, so this will give you 10/10 mana the turn you use it.
I wonder if the effect can 'refresh' mana like Innervate can. Probably not.
It does say 10 mana crystals, not empty mana crystals, so you'll probably have 6 mana crystals left over on the turn you play this.
The T1->Coin+Innervate->Jeeves->T2->Innervate+This Card dream is alive.
Oh shoot, you're totally right, too. Draw Druid deck maybe? Where you get a bunch of card-drawing minions, a (very) few amount of spell card draws, a Savage Roar or two, and the Astral Communion. Probably still very terrible, but it's an idea! Edit: Oh yeah, and add in a Deathwing while you're at it.
I think Innervate and the coin are just stand alone instances because it's temporary mana, and that Grove Tender would be the best comparison. Still this is a fairly substantial effect so maybe we'll get some cool effect where you get a full trey of mana. I only bring it up though because I feel like it could be one of those effects that can't be fully conveyed in card text, and there's a fairly substantial difference between 6 and 10 even with zero cards in hand. [editline]8th August 2015[/editline]
You will have 10 full mana crystals after using this card. [editline]qwe[/editline] Actually I think I might be wrong, I'll try with Nourish [editline]qwe[/editline] Using Nourish turn 10 and choosing 2 mana crystals will leave you at 7/10 mana, so this will give you 10/10 mana the turn you use it
Wow, that's pretty interesting. Looks like Nourish was actually useful for once.
if you play this turn 4 you will have 10 mana left not 6 because you play it for 4 leaving you at 0 mana then it gives you 10 full crystals
I love this card. Ye its pretty shit most of the time, but I'm gonna make the most fun druid I can with it. This is a very neat card, but the worst one out of the druid cards revealed for tgt
I guess if there's some card that can cycle based off of like Inspire or something you could dump your hand late game and then try fishing for more draw. To my knowledge Gadgetzan draws a card before the spell effect actually triggers so he's out as an option and stuff like Loot Hoarder is to easy to kill prior to casting Communion. Being able to exploit what is essentially an extra turn against Control is really strong but this is obviously a dead card versus aggro except in like a handful of cases. It's neat though. Probably 100% fair where it is considering the insane possibilities of it.
Just super theorycrafting and putting almost every card with card draw into the deck. :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/731KiE2.png[/t]
Even with that much cycle you'd need to run 2 Communions in order to help guarantee its early game draw, otherwise your deck just doesn't function. Also you'd want some Force + Roar combo in there in order to have a possible win condition outside of like Cenarius.
I love cards like this. Really, really weird design but it looks like a lot of fun to play around with. Hell, I'm gonna give it a shot. Loved Hobgoblin and Blingtron from GvG, so this looks perfect for me. More weird cards so I can keep making gimmick-decks, please!

Replaced Acolyte with another Communion, but what would I get rid of for a FaN or two? Cenarius? Nourish? Jeeves? Edit: Probably Nourish and Jeeves. [t]http://i.imgur.com/CSSP7xF.png[/t]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/JpHOPFX.jpg[/t] well this is interesting
More like gain 5-8 mana crystals.
priest needs a smaller card with the same effect as Auchenai like a 2 mana 2/3 or something
then auchenai wouldn't see play Auchenai is fine. Priest doesn't need a 2 mana 2 card flamestrike lol The reason hunter's Sniper doesn't see play(yet), is due it basically being a 2 mana 2-3 with Inspire: Deal 2 damage to target of your choice. Your heropower no longer works. It's not awful, and I run one in my control hunter but the main problem is how much mana it requires. Auchenai requires 6 mana to do what hunter can do with 4, but it also opens up the circle combo, the light of the naaru combo, etc. If priest paid 2 less for a card that opens up this many combos, he'd be broken.
This card could work in the late game too. Have something like Cult Master out with tokens on the board, play this, draw cards from your board. Now you have a hand and can enjoy the rest of the game at 10 mana

I haven't seen token druid in forever. Maybe zoo-y druid could use it as well to get a huge swing and try to use the discard > cycle to draw Force + Roar for an early victory.

I love this card. It's just such an extreme card that requires you to build your deck around it.
I keep seeing the 'Straight Outta' thing everywhere, when did that become a meme? :v:
Straight Outta Compton movie is releasing next week. Marketing machine is at full strength, so yeah, yet another stupid and unfunny meme was born, yay humanity.
I keep seeing the 'Straight Outta' thing everywhere, when did that become a meme? :v:
http://www.straightouttasomewhere.com/?skip=1 Friend linked me it, didn't know it was popular as I've been watching ti5 for a week Anywho, the card is so insane it might see play. Like, if you build a deck around it's effect it's insane. People are thinking of it in current decks, and honestly need to think like reynad(go watch his argent tournament reviews.) He considers new decks that could see play, and it's the right way to think. He's the only big hearthstone guy who seems to think the new paladin legend is good. He was right about most of the gvg cards too.
