Holy crap I just noticed something during the intro-sequence of the trailer when all the cards get flung onto the table. This bad boy right here is Wilfred Fizzlebang (master summoner!) aka the guy that summoned Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion into the Argent Tournament Grounds by mistake. Best legendary confirmed, so hyped for this guy!
trifling g-
So we're probably gonna get the Trifling Gnome, then.
-nooooooooo
He tried to summon a Doomguard, so could it be possible he summons a random demon?
That'd make sense, actually.
To be honest we still haven't seen much anti-aggro stuff so unless Blizz decided to hide those cards for reveals on the website the game's just probably going to get more aggressive with all these new cards plus the good old favorites of face hunter and other new aggressive decks, probably something that will involve that Lowly Squire card.
He tried to summon a Doomguard, so could it be possible he summons a random demon?
thatd be a waste of al egendary to be honest hopefully he does something more interesting
From the perspective of an Arena player Inspire seems like an ability that's going to shake up the standard picks. That 6 mana 3/5 isn't great but the ability to gain more Kodos is something that could easily spiral out of control and demands removal or silence (both of which are becoming less common). The Epic slot also seems to have gotten a little better with the inclusion of cards like Frost Giant, whose probably going to become the second top tier giant after Sea Giant. Honestly not looking forward to queuing into Shamans at all now since Totem Golem is so fucking insane.
thatd be a waste of al egendary to be honest hopefully he does something more interesting
summon a doomguard then die
I love that most card art seems to be new and made for Hearthstone specifically Really like the looks of the art
I hope Wilfred plays a random demon for your opponent, so it could turn your opponent into Jaraxxus.

Is it bad that my first thought was "Majordomo is finally playable"?
Battlecry: Destroy your opponent and replace him with Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion. 2x Sacrificial Pact Combo-lock here I come. :v:
Is it bad that my first thought was "Majordomo is finally playable"?
Holy shit I just realized that Majordomo grinder mage just got real PS: majordomo is actually pretty good in grinder mage, nothing feels cooler than winning with it. Turns out having a 9/7 on board is pretty hard to deal with short of hard removal, and if they can deal with it then they usually can't kill you as Rag in the same turn. Once you are rag you basically become an unstoppable control mage god. Ice block required obviously, and works best in a grinder mage where you draw out all their removal early and are constantly playing big threats. Rag on field as rag is game winning if your ice block isn't popped.

If Wilfred Fizzlebang doesn't say "PREPARE FOR OBLIVION!!!!" than I will be ALOT dissapointed. Also do you think they are going to pull-off a free arena run like with GvG?

Alright the OP has been vastly updated, how does it look.
Ahahhahaha loving this brawl Turn one Alexstraza Turn two FoN + Savage Roar Huehuehuehuehue
All this new Inspire and hero mechanic stuff makes me believe there will be a card (or cards) that disable the other player from using their hero power.
Jaraxxus v. Jaraxxus tavern brawl when?
Am I the only one kinda disappointed with the tavern brawls? Like, the first one was super cool, the second one was okay, but now it's sorta just eh things like "you start with 10 mana, obv just shovel end game cards into your deck okay!" I know it hasn't been going on super long and I understand that not every brawl is going to be something neat and gimmicky like the bananas or nax vs. rag, but still, it's a tad early for unimaginative brawls like "you start with 10 mana, enjoy." The idea of mad bomber / madder bomber / rng in general brawl sounds exciting to me. Just fill decks with nothing but rng, this includes shuffling a mine into each deck, etc. But I'm sure all the boring turbo nerds would scream and bitch about the rng because they can't play their hyper streamlined p2w net decks and how the rng is bullshit.
I've noticed in general that the Tavern Brawls where you have to construct a deck are a lot less fun than the Tavern Brawls with pre-built decks. The ONLY exception is The Great Summoner Competition, but I have a feeling that'll be the only fun constructed Brawl. And it is a bit too early to say, but that'll probably be the pattern from here on out: A week of a decent/fun Tavern Brawl with a pre-built deck, followed by a week of a boring/terrible Tavern Brawl where you have to build a deck. Rinse and repeat.
I'd like to see a tavern brawl where the attack and health of all minions are swapped around.
All this new Inspire and hero mechanic stuff makes me believe there will be a card (or cards) that disable the other player from using their hero power.
no, this is totally against the HS team's design philosophy, it's uninteractive, dumb, not fun there wont be cards that disable hero powers, or they will be very subtle (like, only 1 turn) or be deathrattles at worst [editline]23rd July 2015[/editline]
I'd like to see a tavern brawl where the attack and health of all minions are swapped around.
nice shieldbearer lets go
So apparently this is one of the new cards for Rogue. It's effect as I'm told is that it replaces the effect of the Rogue's hero power to increase the attack of the weapon by 1. Which means it's garbage because I could just play an Assassin's Blade and not have to invest so much into this weapon.
I've had this formula saved whenever I need to use it, and here we are. The formula for the mana cost would be ((Attack x Durability) - (Durability-2))/2. ((1 x 3) - (3 - 2)) / 2 = (3 - 1) / 2 = 2 / 2 = 1 It's already 3 -mana overcosted, so what Attack would it need to be worth it? ((2 x 3) - (3 - 2)) / 2 = (6 - 1) / 2 = 5 / 2 = 2.5 ((3 x 3) - (3 - 2)) / 2 = (9 - 1) / 2 = 8 / 2 = 4 To make it even worth its cost, you have to use the Hero Power for either 2 (when you can use Hero Power on the same turn) or 3 (if just equipping the weapon) turns total while spending 1 or 2 mana in all of those turns, and without attacking. So yeah, it's a shit card. Like Sammyroc said, you might as well be using an Assassin's Blade. Sure, it takes a turn later to get it out, but it already gets its 3 attack and has 1 more durability.
u guys dont realise that its actually likely going to be a great card because of all the hero power interactions theyre adding lol
u guys dont realise that its actually likely going to be a great card because of all the hero power interactions theyre adding lol
Hopefully. It's a really neat idea that it changes your Hero Power to buff it, but it's really going to need some other Hero-Power-related card to make it worth it. The Maiden of the Lake isn't going to cut it, IMO.
Is it possible to start this game without paying a boat load of cash or grinding like it's a Korean MMO?

[editline]22nd July 2015[/editline] I think. Unless it's soulbound, then it's useless.
Is it possible to start this game without paying a boat load of cash or grinding like it's a Korean MMO?
Short answer "Yes" Long answer... Yes, but it can be extremely difficult if you're not very well versed in card games, and either way it will require a lot of hard work, time and effort to get to the position of an existing player who's played the game for a very long time. A lot of this hard work can of course be circumvented by paying real money to get things, but this isn't recommended unless you want to spend potentially hundreds of your currency of choice. Blizzard really need to make it easier for players to get into the game like giving them some free goodies and stuff.
Is it possible to start this game without paying a boat load of cash or grinding like it's a Korean MMO?
Trump has his own Basic Teachings where he teaches the mechanics of the games via decks that use only the starting cards. Although, that said, it feels like we're going to need new Basic decks just to try to survive the current meta and the upcoming meta. If you got enough gold and you're not fond of constructed (which is highly likely considering how competitive it's becoming), you can play Arenas instead. Trump's also got his own iDraft series on knowing how to draft right. Once you're comfortable with how Arena works and you like them enough, you can use HearthArena with its well-built algorithm and even watch ADWCTA 'n Merps play (YouTube, Twitch) so you can get a better idea on how to play Arena and eventually just avoid constructed altogether! Also, what Coffee said. Speaking of:
Blizzard really need to make it easier for players to get into the game like giving them some free goodies and stuff.
I HIGHLY doubt they'll make it easier for newcomers. They're probably just gonna be like "But you already got quests that don't require winning and there's Tavern Brawl!" Because you can totally get those winning-not-required quests all the time and Tavern Brawl is totally super-newbie friendly, right? :v: I mean we're talking about the same people that refuse to add more deck slots yet think it's totally fine to add the ability to use different cardbacks and heroes on each deck which makes having to organize them even more complex than it needs to be when you want that flare to them that wouldn't be such an issue at all if they'd just add some more damn deck slots. I swear, I feel like I go on a tangent whenever I bring up deck slots, but it's just so fucking baffling.
At least it's going to be an epic card, which means easy dust. [editline]22nd July 2015[/editline] I think. Unless it's soulbound, then it's useless.
Definitely won't be Soulbound. In what world would there be Soulbound cards in a non-adventure card expansion?
