Eh. It'll be decent but I still despise cancer paladin, and don't actually consider it a deck as a person who loves paladin a lot.
I'm probably going to try it out in midrange paladin.

Flame Leviathan is [B][I][U]EXTREMELY[/U][/I][/B] fun. I have a Flamewaker Giants deck that uses Echo to both exploit the giants and the Flamewakers and Flame Leviathan is in there. It's not even that great, but you'll seem like such a crazy asshole when you draw into it half the time they concede for killing your board off.

Shockadin is no longer really viable because cancer paladin already exists in the form of aggro paladin and it is pretty much better in every way. One of the top ladder decks at the moment:

If Flame Leviathan had a little icon or some shit when it was your next card, it'd actually be a good card.
Though I guess you could consider any aggro pally a shockadin. I just assume shockadin runs more direct damage spells while aggro pally is almost entirely minions and minion buffs with truesilver supporting

It's like separating the mid-range'y zoo with classic zoo, they are like twins.
Either way, aggro paladin/shockadin will be one of few aggro decks to survive TGT because of this secret.

It'd be used to cheese so many adventures. Yes, it wouldn't break any current ones too much, but it would require them to balance each future adventure around that card.

They really wouldn't though. The hard part about bosses is rarely their heroic power, it's often their unique cards only they can use that will give you trouble.
Sure, their hero powers are definitely good, especially heroic ones, but that's not all there is to a boss fight.
Their Hero Powers are still traditionally better than what you'll have, especially on Heroic. The card would likely become included in just about every Adventure list since it'd give you an additional edge and blizzard likely doesn't want that since it sort of defeats the purpose of players finding the best combination of cards to approach a situation with.

It's a 6 mana card though, it's not that strong. If Thoughtsteal, Mind Vision, etc, are allowed why not copying the hero power too?
When I saw this card I actually thought it was designed with adventures in mind, because that's where it would've been a truly fun card.

Imagine the fun of stealing Nefarian (again!)'s fire breath ability.
Oh wait, that must have been why it wasn't made possible. I mean, that would be sure fun but absurdly broken, Nefarian Fires from above! would make Nefarian kill Nefarian with his own breath? That's just about as insane as a Snake killing itself with it's own tongue!
And Wild Magic would keep giving you Tail Swipes, Nefarian's trash removal spell (comparable to Fist of Jaraxxus).
This is an incredibly boring and depressing meta. Everyone's playing anti-fun, uninteractive decks. There are those that are boring as fuck to play against: Control Warrior, Freeze Mage, etc, those that kill you in one turn regardless of your hp: Patron, Combo Druid, Velen Priest, and then there's good ol' fashion Aggro.

And the sad thing is that it could be stopped. With the right tweaks to the right cards, the meta would be forced to adjust, over a series of patches, towards a gentler middle-ground where combinations and later-game plays are more viable than a mere rushdown.
What we need is some sort of "experimental workshop", a project wherein community members and the like come together to adjust certain cards and experiment with them in something like TableTop Simulator, trying to find a way to formulate an adjusted meta that invalidates the vast majority of OTKO and early rushdowns, slowing down the faster decks while still ensuring that slower decks do not utterly dominate.
Forming such a workshop would technically be relatively easy, since one could easily make mock-ups of the original cards and the adjusted ones. The real problem would be keeping it immune to legal action just long enough for the workshop team to present their findings and recommend their tried-and-tested adjustments to the Hearthstone metagame.
