I can smell the musky scent of Varian already. I hope to get at least two legends in my opening 25-30 packs. If I unpack one I super wanna use like Varian or Saraad I'm going to lose my shit
I kinda want Saraad, because it sounds fun and i'd actually use that guy. Plus his lines are very fitting, as the Ethereals come by the lore. And that attidude (and salt from getting Mortal Coils).

what time PST do you think the release will go for Monday I know me and my friends are gonna open the packs together at work
So I just pulled off UTH + Starving buzzard combo (Got buzzard from webspinner) and won the game because of it.
I just realized you can punch the training dummy to make him mosh. Hitting the dummy to the beat of Master of Puppets instantly made this the best battlefield.

My hunter deck still runs Buzzard. :) I usually win with it.
It's uncommon by this point to see it because people generally choose faster cards for hunter That being said, it fits your deck being mid ranged and such
Personally I've found that using a Cult Master in a midrange hunter deck works very nicely with UTH, and you can also extend it's draw use to non-beasts as well. Though with the advent of Quick Shot, the Cult Master's fallen out of favour a bit.
As much as I prefer Cult Master over Buzzard, the Buzzard at least has some niche. The important thing is that it activates on summoning a Beast, rather than from killing your own stuff. i.e. You're up against a Taunt. Cult Master: You'd have to trade in a hound to fish out for a Hunter's Mark or a Timber Wolf, and worst comes to worst, you either get a Hunter's Mark right before (or even after) trading your last hound, or you get a Timber Wolf that would've been useful ages ago but you don't have enough hounds at this point to make use of the damage. Starving Buzzard: You immediately draw into something like a Hunter's Mark or a Timber Wolf, so not only do you not waste damage, but if it's the latter, you get yet another card draw! But like I said, I prefer Cult Master, and that's mainly because of the lower mana cost and that it works on any friendly minion. The +1 Attack is just a bonus.
Why does no one run flare? It's a really cool card. Wreck mages, paladins, and hunters and draw a card for 1 mana. And hard counter Shade of Naxxramas combos :v: I'm finding so much value with it, I dunno. No one expects flare.

And even then it doesn't really fit into any deck (Midrange and Face), but it does make a neat tech card.
Maybe has to do with the fact it's 2 mana now.
I don't even understand why they nerfed it back in the day. I feel like if it never existed and just came out now, even for two mana people would go "WOAH that's a lot of stuff just for 2 mana." I mean it's not amazing or OP but no one runs it?
It comes down to it being 1 mana card draw with an upside, basically everyone ran it and it made secrets unplayable.
I don't remember seeing it a lot back then either though. I kind of forgot it existed until I was trying to put together a Loch n Load deck with tons of spells to see how it might look :v:
So yesterday I finally reached level 60 on my mage...
So excited for the new expansion. I can't wait to drop all my gold; hope it releases earlier than later tomorrow.
Saved up enough for 60 packs. 300 Golden Acidmaws here I come. :excited:
How much have you guys saved up so far? I'm around the 2.5k mark
I'm only spending 2000 gold. There's not enough cards that I find good or interesting enough to any more. I'll just craft the ones I want. Also, I'm curious, what rank are you guys? for 20-15 [IMG]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/IMG] for 14-10 for 9-5 for 4-1 for Legend
The highest I've been on the ladder is like 14, but I've literally never tried to play more than what I need to for quests. I do know that rank 14 is still really easy. A basic zoo warlock deck, still with some cards missing, wins like 90% of time.
If there was any real incentive, I'd bother ranking up past 10-5. Highest I've been was like rank five or six. I think that was before the release of GvG. I guess there is an incentive to repeatedly get legend if we get shiny goodies now!
my free $24 in google play credit is ready
How much have you guys saved up so far? I'm around the 2.5k mark
i got to 3k today
The packs get 'unlocked' if you set the clock at 2pm EDT. Go to sleep, it's probably the real go time.
All Hearthstone purchases give 50% Amazon coins back if purchased through the Amazon app so if you purchase $10 worth of coins to buy packs with, you will get an extra $5 to buy more packs with.
