wow slow down cowboy the game and the next one are over by then
Nah the setup is perfect turn 5 play soul priest, turn 6 play Justicar, turn 7 die to hunter.
I don't use that. That thing, so I guess I will wait for someone else to ask this very important question.
how do you even follow a competitive game without using twitter it's basically the essence of esports
You can't deny that Legendary is such a fucking neat idea, though

I don't give a crap about esports scene anyway. And just because I don't use it doesn't mean I don't read it.
I'm just not going to register on twitter because I find it as an overall horrible place to do anything except for tweeting about your life (which was kinda the point for this site), which is of no interest to me.
And there are places that gather info from twitter so I don't have to even look at it. Like hearthpwn.

just look at the place where all the drama, funny compilations, news and summaries get thrown together: reddit

It's neat, but those stats are absolutely terrible. It will never be played at any high level.
It's basically 8 mana for a terrible minion and one use of a slightly better hero power. It's REALLY bad.

how do you actually read twitter without having an account

id rather kill myself
I like to imagine this whole expansion was conceived by someone going "Fuck how to we made shadowform good?"
"Why not have an expansion that buffs hero powers in general?"

It permamently replaces the hero power though. It will keep giving you value long after you played it.

People link interesting (or not) shit from twitter all the time, even here on Facepunch.

two bucks its going to be in every competitive control warrior deck
It permamently replaces the hero power though.
Ok, that changes it a bit, but it's still ridiculously slow. Maybe usable in super late game control decks, but that's it.

Ramp druid isn't slow and some versions might run him.
Both control warrior and handlock could get some use out of this card too, especially warrior (though my point still stands, some people will try a handlock with magma giants swapped for frost ones).
And there will be lots of ways to get him out for cheap.
Does anyone know if "Totemic Slam" will let you get the same totem over and over?

Probably not.
HOPEFULLY not.
You could sub out a Shieldmaiden for a Trueheart since the two are somewhat comparable. 5 armor instantly with good shield slam synergy or 4 for the rest of the game with decent shield slam synergy.

thats what I plan on doing
control totem shaman new meta
I get that Shamn is kinda shitty but these new shaman cards are a little too good...

Totemic Slam lets Shaman summon duplicate totems. No more getting locked out of a Stoneclaw because your opponent silenced it and you never draw a Rockbiter to suicide it into a minion so you can summon a new one.

Yeah.
They need to buff mage more. Like letting them deal 10 Damage per turn using no spells if they have 2 minions out, or 3 minions for 20 damage and 4 for 90 damage per turn.
That'll balance the game out.

Every single combo besides the two card one requires so much setup that you are more likely to win a game because your opponent disconnected, than you even having the chance to set those combos up.
10 damage for 10 mana is nothing special to write home about as well.

suddenly this card is ridiculously good in slow shaman decks
Honestly Trueheart seems fairly strong is slow priest because it just makes your heal synergy cards better. Auchenai becomes a 2 mana flame cannon enabler (and is easier to kill when you need the HP), Blademasters can be healed to full if you draw them late, etc. Somebody mentioned the Velens combo and yeah even though it's super slow a 9 mana 'summon a 7/7 and gain 8 health' is pretty decent. More thorough experimentation with Velen has happened since GvG and BRM and if Priest gets their own version of Holy Light and can combo it for massive +10 heals it's not unfeasible to see those slow Velens lists brought into the meta.
This expansion in general is pretty cool since we've got a bunch of possible archetypes that are 'almost' good enough but lack some crucial pieces to really work. With this expansion we just might get those pieces and see some really interesting concepts get revisited (blizz pls legitimize my Hobgoblin decks pls).
trueheart is strong in priest
priest just isn't strong
I'm hoping that in this expansion Priest will get some class cards that aren't highly reactive and incredibly situational.
Dark Cultist was a good start. More of that kind of stuff please.
I get that Shamn is kinda shitty but these new shaman cards are a little too good...
every shaman card seems too good but shaman gets screwed over because of overload and fucking slows it the fuck down.

Who says it won't be after this expansion?

At least they seem to be making overload "fair" in that it is being used to gain tempo and they aren't overcharging the cost of overload+minion to do it
I.E. the new shaman card is basically just a totem class spider tank which is already great. Except you play it on turn 2 and don't have to pay the full cost of the mana upfront. This is how overload should be. Basically you do your 3 drop on turn 2 at the cost of having to do your 2 drop on turn 3. If all overload cards were balanced in this manner no one would complain about it.
