was just installing some mods for singleplayer then when i launch the game it starts downloading something.
is it undoing the mods i just installed?
Now I can't load GTA Online, it says it can't download the files required for online play from rockstar game's service.
Online is a different version from our clients at this time apparently?

If you go down to like the most southeastern area (where you drop off cars for Simeon), they spawn around there. At least that's where I got mine.

So it turns out my Radeon HD 7870 2GB card can sorta kinda do very high graphics settings. However from this video you should see there are some graphical oddities which means I either have to pick lower settings or go with a GTX 980 superclocked which is probably what I am going to do. Also featured is something that happened during a fp meetup when I was trying to get footage :v: As always still a work in progress and there are some camera movement errors I'll need to sort out but otherwise it looks better right?
It also turns out the card I have is discontinued from what newegg is showing soo probably a good time to replace this and just keep it as a backup.

People who complain about the Futo being slippery have clearly never driven the Hotknife

Speaking of the Hotknife, I always see people either with exposed engine and cycle fenders, or stock hood/fenders. Personally I like how the cycles look with the hood still on.

I know it's a matter of taste, but... Modern sport/supercar rims on classic cars make me sad.

Bothers me almost as much as people who use chrome as the primary color. No offense to them, but [I]t[/I][I]hat's not what it's for.[/I]
(It looks best when sparingly used, IE a car's secondary color. Chrome is an accent.)

You can dodge missiles quite easily in the Hydra, the best way I've found is by doing a spiralled barrel roll, also it looks sick watching anyone dodge them.
On the controller I'll just hold the thumbstick diagonally down, left or right, doesn't matter. On the keyboard controls it's 5 and 4/6. Any missile coming for you will not reach your jet and explode safely away from you.
In the Lazer, I just do backward loops, they miss all the time. Just begin your spiral as soon as you hear the missile fired sound. When you hear the lock-on sound, start getting up higher to preform your evasive maneuver.
I'm still working on how to dodge missiles in a helicopter, I'm finding it nearly impossible except in the buzzard because they're all so slow and the rockets just his the propellers
The only car that looks good fully chromed out imo is Franklin's Buffalo.
I am currently doing the Criminal Mastermind challenge with my crew. We scoped out pretty much every setup and heist. Now we are at the end of Series A Funding and noticed several changes to several setups since we last scoped them out.
Now, does anyone know if the Pacific Standard Heist finally Apartment glitch has been fixed? We cannot really test that out anymore since we are in the middle of the challenge. :v:
I don't think it does, when I tried to grab my Kuruma the game told me I couldn't enter my garage while being chased by the cops.
I dunno, sometimes it works for me, and sometimes it doesn't. It tends to be picky as to when it wants to work.

You need to be quick, if one cop sees you then it won't work anymore. You normally just enter the apartment, invite all players and then move them into the garage.
I find it much more reliable to just follow the train tracks until you reach the canyon. You'll get tunnel cover and you shouldn't have too many cops trying to ram you.

If you ARE talking about an online character, well then, I'm afraid you're fucked. You should have put your money in the bank before deleting your character, the game does try to explain to you through tooltips/hints that your banked money is safe and shared between characters but your pocket money can be lost and/or stolen. You could try contacting Rockstar Support and perhaps they'll be sympathetic and do something for you.

Skin mods are undetectable outside of checksum/author monitoring and enforcement (IIRC)
I might be incredibly wrong on that.
