I think it's in the industrial area on a highway somewhere

found a pic that sorta helps

Well that would explain why I've never seen it.
The reason why I'm trying to find it is so I can do a fancy pan from the car driving into the distance to the Bravado logo slipping into the corner of the screen (and retail text like the webpage popping up next to it). Make this whole thing look as legit as possible.
Because it's a hipster car.
i didn't realise that'd impact the upgrade cost, there goes like 3 hours of mission farming
bought a warrener 'cause it looked cool, but why the fuck do the upgrades for a sedan cost so much?
Because it's a vintage model and the parts are probably a little tough to come by for it (they'd have to be pulled from junkers and restored, there's a finite number of them as a result)
That's how it works in reality anyway. 3D printing will hopefully get better and render this void within ten years though.

perhaps? i'm kinda miffed tho, like literally it'd cost me less to just buy a lower tier sports car and upgrade that
I really wish the armored kuruma and insurgent didn't exist.
It makes heists too easy and makes killing players too hard.
They should both be Pegasus-only, to be brutally honest. Obtainable through Warstock, Kuruma would be cheapest, followed by the Technical, then the Insurgent, and finally the Insurgent Pickup as the most expensive.
All four would show up as an armed/armored vehicle on the map, and none of them would proc insurance or bad sport when destroyed.
[editline]22nd May 2015[/editline]
Rockstar could realistically remove the armored Kuruma and Insurgent from players' garages, refund the full value, and give them the Pegasus version instead.
You wouldn't lose anything money-wise (it'd be like you never bought it or the mods on it in the first place), and you'd still have access to it, just in a different way. The only reason to be upset would be the fact you can't easily abuse PvP anymore, and abusing PvE needs more effort on your part.
trying to fix a horrible crash on launch im getting relating to bex64 - everything online relates to the launcher crashing and not the game itself. been at it for 3 days now, and really wanna try some mods.
the social club launcher really needs some way to verify the files
The kuruma and insurgent remind me of the time you used to be able to store police vehicles, like the riot van and the police van, the former which had extreme armor and the latter which had bulletproof windows.
It's almost like they predicted the future.
A player shot 400k at me.
what do?
Answer is even more simple, give the insurgent bullet proof windows, remove the ability to shoot out of either.
A player shot 400k at me.

Before someone says not to spend it or whatever the current superstition is, it likely won't matter what you do with it; if its presence is automatically detected, it will be stripped from you (if you spend any of it, the rest will be deducted from your remaining balance instead)
If it gets detected and your account is already marked as suspicious for other reasons (excessive reports against you, prior bans or discipline related to prior exploits, etc), you will be banned no matter what you do with it.
so spend all of it right?
[editline]22nd May 2015[/editline]
if im gonna get fucked either way might as well enjoy it.
Also players with older SC accounts seem to be much less likely to be banned for this or other reasons. Among those I know personally who had an encounter with spawned money, it's the people with accounts they made just for GTAV who were banned for picking up the money. Almost exclusively, in fact.
My guess is that new accounts are defaulted to a quiet "suspicious" state until they go a certain amount of time with no offenses, likely to catch people making new SC accounts just to circumvent a ban.
So me and some pals have been having a bit of difficulty with the pacific standard heist. People keep telling me there's a way to get your armored karuma in it and make it quite easy, but I don't think rockstar would allow it. What's the easiest way to get through that besides hijacking an armored van?
Well mine is from 2012 since they forced it in gta4 as well.

- Do not trigger NOOSE unless you are confident your driver knows how to handle the armored van. A bad driver will doom all four of you.
- Get in the cop car in the middle of the road after getting on the bikes, bag carriers in front and ground control in back so bag carriers are less likely to be shot.
- Driver should ONLY worry about driving, the other three should be the ones shooting.
- Shoot tires, not heads. If a cop is killed they will respawn much more quickly than if their vehicle is crippled.
- Once you reach the jump point, carefully drive the cop car down instead.
On a different subject, should I make a simple tutorial for how to get clear, consistent and appealing reference photos of cars in the garage? Ones like this?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/OgYC9k0.jpg[/t]
There's a little bit more of a science to it than you'd think, exactly where to put the car and exactly how far away to stand for the best balance of frame-fill and FoV.
[editline]22nd May 2015[/editline]
I notice a lot of people snapping photos down the row when showing off a single car, picking bad angles or getting too close. I kinda want to help fix that.
I'd take a LOT better pictures if I was allowed more freedom with the camera. I love photography in real life and I have a good grasp of the golden ratio and so forth, but it's hard to follow that when the only real angle I can get in GTA 5 is eye-height.
I want to do frog-perspective. Raise shutter speed and lower aperture. Get some good fuckin' BOKEH up in that camera.
[editline]23rd May 2015[/editline]
Also high-resolution picture exports would be great for Photoshop post-processing!
Can't you just record a clip inside your garage, then go to the rockstar editor and disable the hud?

Is this because of the shitty pictures I took of my garage :v:

My account from 2011 got banned almost instantly after encounters with hackers.

Not you specifically. I've been seeing a lot of kinda rushed car photography where it's not altogether clear what wheels or skirts or what have you that they've put on it.
Also taking a low FoV zoomed photo gives you a better idea of the size and proportions than one right in front of it.

Oh, alright. I only realized how bad they were when I was posting them and didn't really feel like re-taking them.
Though I have to wonder, we can move the camera around for selfies, why not let us do that for regular shots too?

or, have someone with the apartment thats right next to the bikes, with a kuruma inside
host goes into apartment, invites the other people in and they go in, then host makes people go into garage, everyone gets in car and drives out
basically the key thing is to all get in the car in the garage, not once you're out on street
bonus protip, screw the route they give you, instead just drive to the west coast and go up the side and go to the boat directly instead of bothering with jumps

that actually works? Which apartment would be best, since there's 2 right next to each other.
Trying to get the mod manager working, but each of the mods I've tried to pick up are .dat and .xml files that it doesn't support. This is bothersome.

You are a smarter man than me.
But I would like to have that camera freedom live, at least for photos.
Is it even possible to launch the game offline? I wanted to play with a trainer but last time I disconnected my net the game wouldn't launch.
except it's been mashed together with the Mercedes SLS
I don't see it at all.
There's other examples too, like the Buffalo's, the Gauntlet, the Futo, the Rhapsody, the Panto, whatever the hell the in-game RAM is... Some cars are obviously hybrids between two cars, like the Kuruma is mostly Evo and part Impreza, or the Penumbra is mostly an Eclipse with the front of a Dodge, but some of them really just are based off of one car with a slight change or, in the case of some like the Comet or the Banshee, a bit of original work put in there.
Shoutout to Karl_Larson for being my tank wingman
Christ Rockstars shitty servers decided to "time out" on me and wont let me back in just after I completed a Series A Setup mission. Sorry whoever I was playing with but blame R* and their shitty servers and whatnot.
