It's because it's a car that costs half a million dollars, that goes fast, is ultra durable, and allows you to attack people from complete safety. I worry more about people in Kurumas than Insurgents, which don't have bullet-resistant glass and do have much larger windows.

The Kuruma (Armored) has like a 9:1 ratio of dicks to nice people. Meanwhile the Insurgent seems to be the exact opposite. Near everyone I've seen who drives one is the chillest person in the world and will happily let you aboard to take shelter from griefers. It's so bizarre.

It's so bizarre.[/QUOTE]I ran in to a group of guys who wanted to steal jets from the base, so I rolled up with my Insurgent but they never really wanted to get in. That thing would have handled it fine. I got it in easily, and it was dodging tank shells without a problem. Even had it gotten hit, its an Insurgent.

If I get a Kuruma it will be an unarmored one. Personally I think the armor ruins an otherwise pretty appealing design. Looks like a rally-ready Impreza.

I remember a lot of people on the GTAForums talking about how it sold for a decent amount of cash.

Also it (gold and chrome) was quietly removed in the heists update. Is it back?

By the way if you like classic cars or hotrods and want something good for just driving around, I'd STRONGLY recommend the Hotknife. Nice top speed, great acceleration, good drifting, surprisingly good off-road, sub-1k insurance minimum, great air on jumps, won't ever flip, and looks mean as hell. It'd be nice if they added proper motorcycle club gear like Crew emblem compatible leather vests, chaps, more types of leather jackets, flannel shirts, motorcycle boots, bandannas (worn like Jim in TLAD), more hair styles, facial hair and more helmet styles. Plus, since this takes place before GTA V's story we could have [sp]Johnny K, or Al Carter (Current Lost Club President)[/sp] as our boss for some new missions running guns, or drugs for 'em. [sp]Or even reintroduce the Angels of Death, and wipe them out of Los Santos and Blaine County.[/sp] The Double barrel sawn off would be nice to see again, a revolver of some sort, and maybe a mare's leg. Or gimme horses, I want to be a cowboy.
