Thanks for the quick response stranger!
I ain't no stranger, I'm the leader of the bunch. You know me well.
So a few RL friends and I have come up with a fun thing to do we like to call the one-inch punch. Take a car of your choice to one of the two ramp adverts (the "Prepare for Takeoff" Issi adverts), put the front wheels just BARELY on the line where the ground ends and the ramp starts, and see how high you can go with that small of a run-up. A majority of vehicles can at least get their front wheels off the top, but some surprising things can actually catch some air from it. It's a pretty good way to learn what has the best combination of traction and acceleration, and makes for a fun interactive pass/fail betting game.
They've been available pretty much the whole release. [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] Pretty much nowhere right now. Even key resellers have the game listed at full price.
Well I'm on the RSSC retail release so buying a sharkcard seems to be really hard.
By the way if you like classic cars or hotrods and want something good for just driving around, I'd STRONGLY recommend the Hotknife. Nice top speed, great acceleration, good drifting, surprisingly good off-road, sub-1k insurance minimum, great air on jumps, won't ever flip, and looks mean as hell. [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] It's something nobody really seems to have/drive either, so you'd have originality going for you too.
I have mine since it was one of the vehicles originally exclusive to people who got the collectors edition for the 360/PS3 release.
I got my hotknife back when you could do that thing where you edit the url really quickly. bought the rhino the same way
I got my hotknife back when you could do that thing where you edit the url really quickly. bought the rhino the same way
I'm not aware of this trick, what was it?
I'm not aware of this trick, what was it?
Since Rockstar implemented a fairly faithful URL structure to their online storefronts for whatever reason, you could change the ID number in the URL and add _purchase and other shenanigans to buy unintended things or get them free. This no longer works, of course.
I'm not aware of any way you could get things for free using that method, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone figured it out.
How do i get rid of my Bifta I seriously hate this car now it doesn't match my garage at all.
Major spoilers: to those of you who [sp]killed Trevor, does he still appear in Online[/sp] afterwards as if nothing happened?
Major spoilers: to those of you who [sp]killed Trevor, does he still appear in Online[/sp] afterwards as if nothing happened?
Online events take place before the SP story Also, it sucks when you're having a blast with people and then you get dsynced :^(
I have random Gun-mounted Insurgent's drive up to me, let me mount the gun and then wreck shit. And while I'm all alone in some random area a shithead in a rice-mobile kills me out of nowhere Rare? I literally see them driving around all the time
it's also the inferior version of the dubsta 6x6
I just wish I could mod in a bike rack to attach to my cars :(
I mentioned that I wished your MP character would get spawned in doing something somewhere like the three in SP often do, and someone suggested setting spawn to "Random" in MP options for a similar effect. Tried it out, wound up signing in on a beach. Neat. Logged out and tried again, I was on the pier by the roller coaster. Awesome. Next try put me in the prison parking lot. Ooookay, the implications of that are interesting. Gave it one more shot and I got dumped on the ass end of a huge hill a mile from the highway. The fuck was my character doing out there? All in all though aside from being inconvenient sometimes, I think it feels a bit more organic than spawning at the apartment all the time, or just picking up wherever you left off which makes no sense from a time progression standpoint. Makes it seem like your character has a life and (sometimes weird) places they go when you're not controlling them. [editline]t[/editline] It'd still be a nice detail to have a "Random Activity" option for spawn, where you sign in on your character at the bar or watching a movie or something like that. And if you and a friend (or crew member) both have that option enabled and both sign in at about the same time, you'll be matched up doing the same activity together.
Just learned that to swim up and resurface in GTAV PC you have to press S. Before now, every time I'd ended up underwater I've had to frantically switch to first person so I can direct myself. I can't be the only one, surely?
How do i get rid of my Bifta I seriously hate this car now it doesn't match my garage at all.
Take it to a Los Santos Customs and select the "Sell" Option. Then go and buy whatever you want.
Take it to a Los Santos Customs and select the "Sell" Option. Then go and buy whatever you want.
It's a beach bum vehicle. Which you can't sell cause they were originally free, as they didn't remove the lock.
I'd like to be able to get the holiday limited weapons, in particular I want that rifle from the fourth of july.
im trying to work on a .cfg edit for it. i know that hackers manage to unlock it via trainer (surprisingly this did not get them banned).
im trying to work on a .cfg edit for it.
I'd also rather like to get the rest of the valentines day clothing.
I'd also rather like to get the rest of the valentines day clothing.
i am going to attempt to let all the past dlc items be unlocked with the .cfg
It's a beach bum vehicle. Which you can't sell cause they were originally free, as they didn't remove the lock.
Then the next step would be contacting R* support and requesting they remove it on their end.

rockstar are against even texture/model replacements [thumb]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CEAjEG3UMAA-jk3.png:large[/thumb]
can we tell whoever is making those decisions to go die
[vid]http://i.imgur.com/M3tcHV6.webm[/vid] RKO OUTTA NOWHERE
can we tell whoever is making those decisions to go die
It says in the eula NO MODDING. [thumb]https://i.imgur.com/dTtGcf6.png[/thumb] personally i think rockstar have turned their back on the pc due to the fact that consoles are a bigger majority of the overall gaming platform. It is sad because pc made them where they are today.
Then the next step would be contacting R* support and requesting they remove it on their end.
If your garage is full, you can replace it with a new car. So you can get the free 2 car garage, put the Bifta in there. Throw in a vehicle of the street, then get another vehicle off the street and drive it in and replace the Bifta.
anyone who's competent at driving bikes and not crashing them into police cars and dying want to join me for the last bit of the pacific standard job on pc?
