Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V6 - FAPSers Unite

I finally get into a pubbie heist after twenty minutes of trying to find an invite where the host actually stays and people actually join (what's with that anyway? are people tired of gta:o that fast?)
It's the Prison Break heist, I'm the pilot and I land in an airstrip with wide open space for the guard and prisoner players to climb inside. Guard gets inside fine, meanwhile the prisoner just keeps running around the airstrip gunning down the police before it comes to realization he has to get inside too.
So he does this by.. running directly into my propellers. three times.
I just.. how? Surely after the first time someone would think: "Man, you know maybe running next to the sharp blades isn't the best of ideas"
Of course it's a Kurumu fag who shot me as i was minding my own business.
Call aggressive Kuruma drivers "riceboxers"
They seem to really hate it
god damn that last heist tho. shit's hard.
Applied for the Crew under the name Grongoast, anyone I have to PM on FP to get in?
Once the purge is done I'll say how to get re-invited, then have it added to the OP.
How do I get FiveM working? I have the files but have yet to find proper instructions.
Launch CitiLaunch.exe point it to your gta5 exe. Let it launch login to social club. Hit F6 ingame to connect to the server.
the fact that i can't pop up the popups on my ruiner makes me sad

That's why I sold mine. That and lackluster modding.
Fixed
So was that "previous members becoming Representatives" still a thing or?
http://forum.citizen.re/t/experimental-fivem-builds-fresh-from-the-oven/964
Launch the launcher, open story mode, press F6, hope it doesn't crash
Enjoy sharkcard-less multiplayer
You know, i never knew Shark Cards were even in the game, And i've been playing since the PS3.
I don't know why you're so bothered by them. Rockstar does not FORCE you to buy them. With some hard work, you can rack up massive amounts of cash in GTA:O Without spending a dime.
So was that "previous members becoming Representatives" still a thing or?
Nope. Due to the fact that Reps can invite people, if everyone became Reps people could invite anyone they want (even people outside FP). So you guys will stay muscle.
FiveM do anything to risk a ban? Friend of mine just asked me.
I've said it before, play missions, races, deathmatches, survival and heists more often than freeplay, and you've have PLENTY of money.
Hmm, my position in the crew seems to be 30? What is that even based off of? I joined like maybe a month ago.
Aw darn, I got kicked too, and followed the instructions the first time you posted them.

Because of how it alters the very design of the game and Rockstar's behavior towards it. There's a reason why "No Fun Allowed" has become a common criticism.
Showstopping bugs and reproducible annoying glitches? Might be fixed eventually.
Someone comes up with a way to glitch money or get something or somewhere they're not suppose to get? Hot patched instantly.

it is a singleplayer mod so to speak so there is a chance. but if you get banned from gta online do you even care because you got Fivem?
Kicking people from the Facepunch crew made for Facepunch, 10/10 whoever did it.
renaming dsound.dll (ASI LOADER) to dinput8.dll bypasses the modified dll checks.
i really now think that rockstar has not even done a half assed job
So awesome to know. Is there a way to make it not stop me from going online but not activate online?
Maybe this modding thing is just a temporary measure until R* can work out how to only block mods at a certain time/ of a certain type? Perhaps right now, they don't fully understand how it's working, so they've opted for a blanket ban whilst they try to figure things out. Working out how people are going to mod your game is pretty much impossible unless you make an API, after all.
Very unlikely.
They knew how popular modding was with GTA:IV. If they had any intent on allowing it, there's no way they would have left the game without even a basic anti-cheat system.
I think the problem with mods in R*'s mind is that people who heavily modify their game would be less likely to play GTA:Online since all clients in the online mode must have unmodified copies of the game, which would reduce R*'s microtransaction revenue.
[editline]3rd May 2015[/editline]
also has the mass kick happened yet? I don't check the thread that often...
Grinding crew rank isn't that bad, takes maybe a few hours of random missions.
What's on the FiveM at the moment? Are animals implemented? I will try it tomorrow >_>

Yeah I guess, but I still kinda prefer the Phoenix when it comes to aggressive-looking Pontiacs.

As far as I can tell it doesn't add any files to GTA V's directory. Of course I would care, FiveM is where I can fuck around with mods with friends, and GTAO is where I can play without.

it does change memory though.

Sorry for not reading every post of the thread every day mate, why not put it in the OP, good job we have someone like you running the crew A+ mate good job.
you can literally bypass the ban by changing your pc time to a certain date and logging in with an account which does not own gtav.
steam account or rockstar social account or both?

If you're in the Steam group the announcement was clearly posted days ago. If you read the thread even every other day or are subscribed to it, you should've seen it posted several times in bold red all caps text.
Be honest, be totally, completely honest, would you have even read the OP to check for it?
I understand people being upset, but really, when was the last time anybody read the OP?
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
