I hate to bring this up here but I got kicked even though I posted my SC and FP username in the Steam group exactly where we were supposed to. (SC: ozzupSC)

The crew is being cleaned out with the expressed intent of removing those who are not: - Active enough to see the warnings - Interested in maintaining a community atmosphere - A member of the forums If you want to be re-added, wait for a follow-up announcement in the Steam group (reposted here as well) and apply for an invite.

well that's pretty fucking strange, i'm 100% sure i posted my FP and SC info in the announcement but now i'm booted from the crew and i've searched the announcement, but my post's not there anymore ahh christ i'll see that tomorrow (rip rank 150)

I can understand they're mad, but I can understand that they're even more mad that they have to play with other crew members who do nothing but make the game no fun for anyone involved. People can rejoin instantly once the purge is done with no questions asked. I'm doing this to clean up the crew so that we can play with each other and not expect to be blown up by a fellow crew member once they spawn in. If you're in the crew and don't like how it's run, leave. If you've already left because of this event, other than being accidentally kicked, good riddance. I'm trying my damnedest to make this a fun crew, where people don't have to fear about idiots in the crew trying to ruin they day. When the PC release hit the group was accepting all entries. We realize now that was a mistake, and it's being mended. Please excuse the mess.

I noticed I wasn't in the crew anymore, so I just hopped on here to see what was going on. So I read through some posts to find out what was up. I guess I should check in here more often, but I didn't see what I had to do to prevent myself being kicked, I guess that's my fault really. How can I go about getting back in after this purge is over? Edit: Just saw another post explaining it, nevermind

I've decided against the steam group announcement for invites because that'll just cause problems. But I have a solution that's easy and literally can't fail.
