Instead of making the Kuruma non-offensive, how about making cars no longer cost insurance to blow up? It's fucking GTA. If someone blows you up blow them up back.
The system is in place so there is some form of discouragement against incessantly griefing players who actually cannot fight back the same way you can (IE, a lower level, with less money and less powerful weapons than you since they've only just started)
I stick by my idea of high mental state disqualifying you from vehicle protection temporarily.
Oh yeah, how does it work if someone else destroys it? He/she pays?
If the Kuruma had the armour fall off after a number of hits it wouldn't be so bad.

If the Kuruma, Insurgent and Police Transporter stopped you shooting out of it it'd be fine.
Bulletproof glass doesn't work one way.
I couldn't give less of a shit about supercars. Wowee gee you can go fast! And what else?
Personally I prefer cars with some soul like the phoenix or futo. Something fun to drive instead something glued to the road.
Exactly what I feel. Which is why this is what my garages look like.

I've made some changes since these photos but oh well.
Also the white and blue Warrener is based off this

I don't care what anyone says, I love using my armoured karuma for missions and heist setups because most of the time I have to deal with fuckwits who don't know what the goddamn cover button is, so it's easier for me to say "jump in the karuma" so I know the retards are safe and sound.

As a fan of all sorts of motor sports, what isn't there to love about a precision engineered machine? If you aren't precise as well then you are gonna wreck. And what isn't there to love about going fast?
I have the best cars of each class for races, but I mostly just use my Akuma for free roam and missions.

It doesn't feel like the precision is because of the driver, but because of the machine.
So I'm playing story mode anywhere I can buy hats or glasses besides the discount shop?
I love being able to fuck shit up:

Yeah but why would you want the machine to limit you, that makes no sense

That's the one thing that really boggles my mind about this game, why would this huge armored MRAP have thin glass windows and be completely explosion-resistant at the same time. Why can you shoot out of the armored car with actual bulletproof windows ? Wouldn't it be much better if these things actually worked like they're supposed to ? People wouldn't just sit in kurumas to complete missions, the Insurgent would be a blast to drive around and they wouldn't be fucking annoying to other players.
Yeah but why would you want the machine to limit you, that makes no sense
Exactly. I love my Turismo R, it may not be the fastest, but I got it because it handled and sounded to well while still looking great. Same with my Coquette and Dominator.
I tried that trick someone posted a few pages back where you put a sticky bomb on the inside of your insurgent's door, have someone open the door to get in, then blow them up. Such a dirty trick, but it was hilarious.
Neat mod

The Insurgent doesn't have bulletproof glass though. Also, the Police Transporter has bullet proof windows? I guess that explains why I rarely take health damage when making a desperate escape in one.
Army At 5 stars

This is pretty neat as well
It's people in suits I'm starting to get tired of. Casual dress is always far more interesting, why make yourself mafioso #2542709 instead?
[editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
White suit + black sunglasses + ironic hat (optional) + two garages of matte white or chrome metacars (Zentorno, armored Kuruma, Akuma, etc) with chrome rims and ironic horns.
I've seen exactly this maybe six times now, if not more. Be original, people.
The scruffy suits are underrated.

I feel like the Army should just swarm you with Olive or Tan Mesa's / Crusaders / maybe Barracks', and Buzzards / Savages for the sky. Tanks seem too over the top and unrealistic though, especially since they'd suddenly just start appearing outside the base despite being too slow to drive there in any decent amount of time.
lame as fuck that I can only get the duke o' death if I'm a returning player
like jesus rockstar, it's singleplayer just let me use it

If a target was throwing explosives everywhere (including guided anti-air), you bet they'd be calling in heavy ground armor, if only as a defensive or deterrent measure.
Also it is absolutely reasonable they'd come after you that hard if you commandeered a tank.
[editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
They should use the Insurgent and Insurgent Pickup either way though. That seems like a good balance of troop movement and offensive capabilities, and they'd make sense for a high-risk situation where high-caliber rounds and explosives are flying.

The whole "returning players get this" thing was pretty much false advertising, since most of those things are single player only. If you're a returning player, chances are that you completed single player and don't give a shit about it anymore.
Well if we're talking about why we have cars-
Carbonizzare: I stole one on the street to get away from cops and fell in love with the handling. It's my favorite to drive by far
Monroe: Based on one of my favorite cars growing up. Doesnt handle too well, but it's just so damn pretty.
Pigalle: I like old school round back cars, and it handles VERY well.
Bullet: was my first car i bought online. I dont drive it much but i hold on to it and my sandking because I got them both on xbox 360 when I used to play with my best friend before I lost him :/
Oh, and a 6 car garage full of Vagos Peyotes: Because free money :v:
Lui, you are still fat <3
Also, the Police Transporter has bullet proof windows? I guess that explains why I rarely take health damage when making a desperate escape in one.
Well, no, not really.
It's the mesh cage around the windows that are bulletproof. It's still possible to be shot through the openings, and by god do cops do a good job of managing to aimbot you at a 70 degree angle through the side windows.
Yeah but why would you want the machine to limit you, that makes no sense
I wouldn't even say the machines limit you, the only real limitation is knowing the machine you're driving.
I dunno, I just don't like the super cars, they're incredibly boring once you get past the speed. But that's opinion they're the best blah blah blah.
You know what'd be nice that would be entirely doable with relatively minimal effort?
The ability to get a pet for your apartment.
[editline]10th May 2015[/editline]
Like, you could have a dog or a cat or whatever, and they'd be under 5k, but you could also pour between 15k and 1.5mil into having something unusual or exotic.
Lui, you are still fat <3
Oh so you were the one challenging me to 1 versus 1 melee duels earlier?

I want a Raptor roaming around my apartment now
