I think about 1/5 times I've even seen an armored karuma it's been an FP crewmember, and the other 4 times it's been some random guy or group of people driving around shooting players with impunity.

Regarding the Karuma situation: I just completed all the stunt jumps. That is all.

Honestly, the whole idea of making you unable to shoot while in the Kuruma seems pretty solid. If you don't want to get shot out of your car, you shouldn't be able to shoot people out of theirs.

Passive players can't shoot other players, but they can't be shot either. Kuruma players can't be shot, but they can shoot other players.

Not only is it kind of an annoying thing to do quickly (which isn't honestly that big of a deal) but the fact that Passive mode is essentially a gimped version. Sure, it works and there isn't that much else Rockstar can do, outside of directly nerfing it (IE disabling shooting from inside), but when I have to put it on the instant I see a random Kuruma driver it kinda sucks. The only reason why I drive mine is so that heists/missions are easier and now, something I didn't even have in mind before I started playing Online, just so that other Kuruma drivers wont shoot me instantly. That and I've had people blow up my Kuruma with stickies/rocket launchers even though I have done absolutely nothing to them. I never kill people unprovoked, usually I even pass bounties just because I don't want to be a dick. Seriously though, people blowing up my car because someone else was a dick is goddamn annoying. Anyone trying to reason with this shit is just as bad [I]*ahemdoctorzedaconahem*[/I] And let's not even get into the whole argument on "Oh you can shoot me but if I kill you I have to pay for it" thing which is absolute bullshit.

It's annoying having fun with a friend running from cops but then having that ruined by some cunt rolling in with a kuruma that you cant do anything against unless you want to spend 7k insurance

I just like the Kuruma because it has one of those older tuner cars look from games like Need for Speed: Underground 2. And the armoured version lets me drive around, not having to care for any random retards trying to shoot you down. And if they think how they achieved something by destroying my car, well guess what, chucklenut, you didn't. All I have to do is call the insurance and then request my personal vehicle to be back in my car under a minute of my time. I've led players on awesome bounty chases - watching them on the map and seeing them peel out to follow me north - and the moment I see their bullshit invinci-car, the fun is always totally over. There's no counterplay. It's toxic to the experience. Players in armored kurumas play a version of the game with an easier set of rules, and the game is shittier for everyone else.

The only way to kill RDMers in kurumas is to blow the car up and you have to pay 8k to do it. That's literally the only problem I have with the Kuruma, not that its bulletproof, but that there isn't any other way to kill the guy inside without having to pay a shitload especially if they keep coming back.

Half the people who actively grief with it absolutely know this too. They make it as expensive as they can just to fuck you as hard as possible when you lose your patience with them. It's the bait-mobile.

This whole thing got me thinking, since I've had very few, if any, very bad experiences with random guys in Kurumas. Probably for the reason that I, myself, drive around in one. The thing is, though, that I don't randomly kill people unprovoked, I've even steered away from people with bounties because I didn't want to be a dick with my Kuruma. So should I lose my fun armored bullshit car because others are assholes? Well, yes. It's somewhat clear here that the car is kind of bullshit and as many have said, kinda toxic to the whole community. Assholes shouldn't have access to this goddamn street gang TANK. Unfortunately that also means that people who aren't doing anything bad with it have to lose it too. Not that any of this matters because it's not like Rockstar is suddenly going to do anything about it :v:
