Probably completes every mission by parking in the middle of the enemies and M1'ing them all to death from his invincible box :v:
That's the point. I only ever use passive mode with my Kuruma in freeroam, anyway. Missions are boring as hell after the 1st time and this car makes them go by in just a few minutes.
This whole thing got me thinking, since I've had very few, if any, very bad experiences with random guys in Kurumas. Probably for the reason that I, myself, drive around in one. The thing is, though, that I don't randomly kill people unprovoked, I've even steered away from people with bounties because I didn't want to be a dick with my Kuruma. So should I lose my fun armored bullshit car because others are assholes? Well, yes. It's somewhat clear here that the car is kind of bullshit and as many have said, kinda toxic to the whole community. Assholes shouldn't have access to this goddamn street gang TANK. Unfortunately that also means that people who aren't doing anything bad with it have to lose it too. Not that any of this matters because it's not like Rockstar is suddenly going to do anything about it :v:
It doesn't need to be removed, it just needs tweaking, in fact removing it would be just about the worst thing Rockstar could do
Even the colors on my Kuruma are non-hostile. Sky blue and white.
Well, I caved [t]http://i.imgur.com/00qTn9E.png[/t] See you in hipster hell
It doesn't need to be removed, it just needs tweaking, in fact removing it would be just about the worst thing Rockstar could do
That's kinda what I mean, though. Sorry if my wording made it sound like I meant removal. Nerfing it to disable shooting from the inside.
Not that any of this matters because it's not like Rockstar is suddenly going to do anything about it :v:
This is the most confusing part, to me. There are clear solutions to all the problems in multiplayer, but none of them appear to even be on Rockstar's priority list. It kind of seems like post-release support in general immediately got handed off to a bunch of dry-cunted corporate suits (bans for singleplayer mods, bans for inadvertent cheats) the moment the game got released.
I'd be fine with people griefing with armored cars if you didn't get bad sport'd for blowing them up. Like, the insurance cost is negligible, but being tossed into a bad sport lobby for getting fed up with someone harassing you in a car that makes the player almost invincible unless you blow them up or you're fucking Deadshot is obnoxious. [editline]11th May 2015[/editline] Also if you blow them up they laugh at you, insult you, and gloat about you having to pay them.
I use my kuruma to kill other griefing kurumas. For justice baby!
I use my kuruma to kill other griefing kurumas. For justice baby!
how tho do you shoot them through the mailslot or something
Probably the best thing for Kurumas actually would actually be to make the Armored Kuruma and the Insurgent a Pegasus vehicle. But then on top of that, Rockstar needs to make Pegasus vehicles customizable. They wouldn't be usable as personal vehicles, they'd have to pay every time they're wanted, if they get blown up there is no insurance. But that would require Rockstar to give a shit and put in the effort to rework Pegasus vehicles. It could just be the ground vehicles like the Kuruma, the Insurgents, the Canis Crusader, or if they actually wanted to put in serious effort, make all of them customizable. So if I want my Kraken sub to be pink and blue when I call it, it will be. Or someone could get their tank painted brown, or a Frogger helicopter in lime green. Frankly, I'd rather like that.
What irritates me is that when players fire at you, and hit you, and THEN you destroy their vehicles, you've got to pay the price in mental state, bad sport ratings and insurance costs. If Rockstar addressed that little issue, there'd be no problem whatsoever with the Kuruma or insurgent.
Why does this game crash so MUCH. EVERY TIME it's during a transition. You know when you finish a race and it goes black before spectating someone? Crash there. Or when you go into your garage and the screen goes black before loading the interior? Crashes there. Fucking annoying
It might be a tad better if the Armored Kuruma was level 30+ or something
Well, I just finished the main story. That was a game, really enjoyed it.
how tho do you shoot them through the mailslot or something
It's really hard to do, but yea. Once they stop or flip upside down, it makes it a little easier to shoot through.
I don't get the "drive around and murder people" thing in general I've gotten pretty good at pistol-headshotting people who try to do drive-bys with the SMG (it's inaccurate as shit and the DPS sucks), and afterwards a lot of the time they seem to get mad at me like I made their life worse by fighting back all the cool times I've had in pub servers is when I've met up with another player and they didn't try to immediately kill me
Even the colors on my Kuruma are non-hostile. Sky blue and white.
Mine is light blue and metal grey, because I wanted it to look like the armour was not an original part of the vehicle.
generally I drive up to people and then honk and then just race around with them or pick them up and take them somewhere they want or go to their apartment and smoke weed or jump off Maze in the car with a cargobob or just whatever yknow way more fun than just "durrrrrr i got u lol rekt"
Shit, people get real mad over armored Kuruma's. I have one myself. It definitely toned down on me getting killed by random drive by's. Usually the Zentorno people actually that try. Nonetheless, I still have people chase me for no reason whatsoever. But the Kuruma guys don't chase. Mostly cause we can't kill each other easily. I don't see them as a threat even when I'm not in it. They are incredibly slow and clunky to drive around. It's more of a fun to dick/powerslide around car or mission car than a "be-a-dick-to-everyone-else" car.
Man the Blazer is really fun to just drive around on. It's a one-seater which kinda sucks when playing with friends, but it's perfect for randoms sessions. The acceleration (with turbo and engine 1 at least) and maneuverability let it easily outpace both of the armored vehicles if you force them through repeated hairpins, and it's fantastic offroad.
rockstar could just nerf the kuruma by making the actual glass in the windscreen not bulletproof. It's already got shitloads of armour covering on it so the glass can be shot through but not exactly easily
It has now been 2 weeks, 2 days, 16 days total. Fuck you, Rockstar!
This may have been mentioned already, I haven't read through the 20+ pages after this one yet, but some support systems work off of the a ticket's last updated time. The 4 day gap there indicates that may not be the case, but they could just be swamped that much (in that, the max time you ticket was waiting may have been 4 days rather than 2 weeks).

The cops were coming and this guy in a super car kept trying to run into us, I decided, 'Fuck it' turned my Assault rifle on him and fire, apparently I got a critical shot or something because I nailed him in the head AND made his car explode.
I actually really want to buy an armored Kuruma just so I can drive around without people mowing me down through the glass Like, I don't even randomly kill people unless they're very obviously hostile towards me, but I would like to be able to drive in peace or at least have a chance against people harassing me :v: [editline]11th May 2015[/editline] I might buy the regular insurgent instead. How easy is it to get shot from inside an Insurgent?
The Insurgent is significantly tougher, but is more balanced in terms of gameplay because its front (not bulletproof whatsoever) windscreen is the size of one of those giant curved TVs. You're going to get hit maybe 6% of the time you're shot at, versus ~0.01% with the Kuruma. [editline]t[/editline] Be a bro and act as an armored bus service with the Insurgent, everyone will appreciate it. Except the dicks in riceboxes.
The kuruma is a pleb armored car, everybody knows the Duke O Death is the best armored car in the entire game because the dukes is also the best car in the game full stop, no arguments this is fact
I'm conflicted then. More vulnerable but more badass with the Insurgent, or practically invincible but probably seen as a threat by literally everybody on the server even if I'm not with the Kuruma. Both will probably end up getting me stalked by people, though the Insurgent probably more so since I'll be on the map more obviously. I have about million Grand Theft Smackaroonies. Both vehicles are priced within about 100k of each other. Both have pros and cons. I'm assuming both are customizable and stored in the garage. Fuck this is a tough choice. How easy is it to get shot from inside an Insurgent?
Pretty easy actually. You're almost impossible to blow up, but you have massive windows that can be shot through. Seriously, this post and the others like it exemplify the problem with the current nature of the Armored Kuruma. You've got a shitload of people who are getting it for a license to kill everyone with impunity, and then you've got the people who are tired of being killed getting it so they can safely move about without getting shot by people in Kurumas.
Personally, I recommend the Insurgent. The icon isn't as big a deal as you think. Unless it's blood red, nobody's going to see you as much of a threat, and some might even boldly approach you to seek shelter. While most players dread seeing a Kuruma roll up, there's a big trend of Insurgent owners being really sympathetic and nice people, and it's mostly because they know they're not invincible in those things, and got them primarily for some respite from the former group without stooping to their level.

They don't really avoid them, they just don't pay attention to them so much.
