alright so regarding the password stuff my password WAS hunter2 but I guess that's too common, so I changed it to hunter3 you guys think I'm safe now?
I'd go with hunter4 just to be safe.
I am sure that I'm cursed to forever be joined by those obnoxious guys who seem intent on being presumptuous, micromanaging, barking orders, complaining when it goes wrong and all-round being horrible to play with. It's not even that they're bad players, they generally know what they're doing but they're just so hard to work together with. Myself and Siem have had two heists today and just spent most of it laughing our arses off at one guy on the team who just explodes in the chat. the first guy who constantly calling us terrible scrubs who will ruin the job because I, as a joke when we had no timelimit or enemies to deal with, pulled him out of the pilots seat of the helicopter in Series A Setup 1 the second guy was calling us all low iq kids for the rest of the heist because we got a little unlucky and the decoy team got shot up with the Van Setup for Pacific Standard.
If my social account does get stolen due to rockstar's inability to hash passwords i'm going to use my steam account's free refund because fuck having a 70 dollar game I can no longer use. Needless to say I did change it a few hours ago so here's hoping it does not come to that.
There should be a game mode called "Technical Problems" where one team of 2-4 players get in an Insurgent (Armed) and have to flee a team of 2-3 constantly respawning Technicals.
Was doing that mission where you have to fly to the roof of the building under construction and attack some guys doing a deal, ended up sniping out the side of a helicopter. Was really fun.
why isn't it on fire
because it's not AMD
So just for fun i decided to walk from my apartment to the airport, just a leisurely stole across the city ... in passive mode. The amount of armored cunt wagons that rolled up blasting me was stupid, not a single dot passed me by without checking me out with their SMG.
You should do this with a mountain bike instead, the frame is so small it makes it hard to see that you're in passive mode and if you go through alleys and over obstacles like you're trying to escape people will end up chasing you across the map before they realize they can't actually kill you, it's glorious
because it's not AMD
no if it was amd, he wouldn't be able to get inside it.

Man, I really hope that they put out an updated Bullet, since there's a new Ford GT coming out. I mean look at this beauty. [t]http://blog.caranddriver.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/LB5A0123-876x534.jpg[/t] With this teased content update I hope they do this, and/or add some more ~JDM~ cars.

I've only been able to play it once though, it needs a lot of players to be properly fun.
Was doing that mission where you have to fly to the roof of the building under construction and attack some guys doing a deal, ended up sniping out the side of a helicopter. Was really fun.
What really sucks about that mission is that it unlocks before you can realistically own a helicopter, and being in the mission disables helicopters from spawning. Had to find that out the hard way, fucking newb traps. Even now, I don't want to buy a helicopter just so a small handful of missions (2 so far, this one and Death From Above) become feasible. They should at least start the description with /!\Helicopter Required/!\
I think I realized why this game is so goddamn big, they have like 3 copies of every texture so that each object that references a texture sheet has it's own copy of said texture sheet, so there's like tons of copies of the same texture in the files.
So why do people say Nvidia PCSS looks bad? Very High + High-Res shadows look great wit it. It tries to properly mimic real shadow behavior, IE it's sharp nearest to the object and blurry furthest. It even emulates the "merging" of shadows that draw close, I'm legitimately impressed.

Why the fuck?
there's an elevator
Which doesn't work at all.
there's an elevator
Doesn't that only work in the single player mission? I've tried using the elevator before and it doesn't move. Haven't tried it in this mission, but if it works only in this mission and they don't tell you that, it's still bullshit. I failed this mission twice, once because I tried to climb the crane (which has zero cover and you die near instantly once you get in sight of them). And again because I thought we could snatch a helicopter from the helipad or airport, only to discover the mission disables those spawns.
Which doesn't work at all.
i completed that mission with the elevator on 360 :o
I'm actually kinda glad the little TV I output PC games to when using a controller is only 720p. There's some kind of filtering on it so at the distance I have it set up it looks fine, and at that low a resolution I can jack everything up to max and still get at the absolute LEAST a steady 40fps, and that's under really heavy stress.
I managed to land the seaplane in our pool party. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/47630229953087860/D055E70E4381DDC78533D27A4DB411A673767675/[/t] There was only a small fire [sp]that turned into a big one[/sp]
Apparently i destroyed the plane by trying to drive onto the wings.
Anyone else think it's weird that the [sp]IAA has you attack the Humane Labs in Online, but then in Story the FIB claim the IAA use the labs to make chemical weapons. Then afterwards, the news says perfume was stolen from the labs.[/sp] Seems like a good few someone's may be lying about who owns that place and what they do there :v: (Spoilers for The Humane Labs (MP) Raid and Monkey Business (SP))

Had this one guy constantly stalk me for about half hour doing circuits to see if I'd come out of passive while i went about shopping. Some time later when he finally left me alone i dropped out of passive mode and took a jet over to say hello. killed him a couple times and logged off. To date he remains the only person iv'e killed in the hub world, outside of dicking about with friends. That was my guess anyway.
Here's a fun thing on that note: Be in passive mode as a passenger, while the driver is not in passive mode. Driver has to get in first, and you have to have passive enabled before getting in. The vehicle won't be transparent and it won't show passive status on the map, but neither of you can be hit. This is an impishly fun way to bait bounty hunters into huge, dangerous and time-wasting wild goose chases.
A guy in his Kuruma just drowned his car himself. There is break in the safety wall of the highway between the helicopter tours place and the airport. If you jump off going from the airport to the helicopter tours, there is a strip of land jutting out you can try to land on, then drive to the helicopter tours. This guy in his Kuruma had been following me for about 20 minutes trying to kill me. I hit that jump in my Insurgent, which I've taken it enough to know the Insurgent can't make it, it'll land in the water between the outcropping and the mainland, but it has enough momentum and it big enough it'll keep going and just roll up on the land unscathed. But this guy in his Kuruma comes off, hits the water, and gets stuck there, drowning it, while I rolled away. He then got mad and left.
Showcase of my first V mod, whoo! Basically brings back cops (only LSPD for now) to patrol and walk their beats.
the dodo spawns online? whaaaaa
Have to buy it. It's awesome. Just fly out into the ocean, land, eat a sandwich in peace

I've been wanting something like this ever since I heard patrolling cops were out. The video makes it look like every 10th car or ped is a cop, I love it but I hope they're not actually that common. And I think Sheriffs should only patrols in Cars or SUV's and be less common than their LSPD counterparts. And if you haven't, throw in some unmarked cars for the LSPD territory. (Hope I don't sound bossy, just excited, the lack of patrolling cops was one of the things that disappointed me in V.) Also, is Online functionality really a good idea with all the banning lately? I wish the clients were separate if only because I could actually use mods in the game, but I play Online more than I play Singleplayer...
