I don't even mind doing 40/20/20/20 as host. If I want money I can farm it. But my friends who refuse to do any sort of cheat-minded things shouldn't suffer. Not gonna get mad that I get, what, 40k less than the others? That's like one car mod fully upgraded.

Honestly the host should get more money from the setups to fully recoup the upfront fee (and a bit more) by the time the finale hits. Would also give more incentive to actually host.

There are some reports that they're vulnerable to being killed by car collision or weapon butting, but there are also people that say these don't work.

Dropped into a 1-lap Criminal Records lobby on accident. Was no-contact and no customs supers, and the host started immediately after I joined. It was pretty obvious to me what they were doing so I picked a Voltic, and they went Turismo R. I bet they were feeling really smug until I got the starting boost and almost immediately wound up with maybe a two-checkpoint lead on them, at which point they went off-course, said "lol nope" in chat and quit. Yeah, run you fuck. Run away from my puny electric car.

That probably was one of the most boring races I've ever did. I was in 4th place and just before finishing I lapped the last guy (15 players or so), the guy in first place lapped the last guy for the second time and would've lapped me if he hadn't finished on that lap. I'm pretty sure the host ended 5th or so, he had a custom car but drove like shit, I had a stock car

Huh. Something I just noticed. In gta4, if you had a one star you could surrender. In gta5 they go straight to shooting you. ?????

i think something odd has happened to my gta v but i dunno whats caused it. a lot of cars ive shot at today have suddenly been exploding after so many bullets (not a lot) and its kinda weird because its never happened until now. any ideas?
