Fucking TES and its fucking stats.
It'd be interesting to see a tes game where stats are all invisible. You'd have to guess at what's good and what's crap on your own. It'd involve both character skill and player skill.
Interesting? Yes.
Fun? Probably not.
In their tongue, he is Dovahbit. And he ain't afraid of y'all bitch ass punks

Dovahbit does not get butchered
Dovahbit will set on fire you and everyone you love
I only realised last night that it's possible to hunt butterflys with a bow and arrow.
Is it too late for reviewers to adjust their score of this game taking that fact into account?

?
I actually wanted to call him Dovahbit of Caerbannog
It will be the best pet ever a dovahkin could ever hope for and you'll be able to give him any helmet and he'll wear it
I wanted him to use shouts but that seems to be more complicated than I thought so I might just have him run about and look amazing while you kill stuff. Because he is Dovahbit and he ain't got time to fight your own battles
He's actually a great companion to use as a mule, it's small, doesn't get in the way, and you don't have to worry about him running into an enemy's face while you are sneaking. I think I'll actually use it aside from making it as a joke

But then you could put more information in the game without the player obsessing over numbers.
"That sword has an impossibly sharp edge and appears to be in excellent condition after use. It must be made out of a great metal.the blade is curved and That book spoke of how curved blades are better for slashing"
" wearing all this will make my character stand out in crowds and others wary of me, yet hide my identity. It looks heavy yet it probably won't make much sound."
" there are boils on my arm. I should get that sorted out."
"my character is shaking. Obviously he/she's afraid of an opponent or i've been hit by a fear spell"
There have been games that do stuff like this where it can be misinterpreted sometimes. As much as I love stuff like that it never actually works the way it is intended.

Realistic Lighting Overhaul. It's version 4.0 of RLwPP. Although the weathers aren't done yet (I'm working on them), the interior lighting (Major city interiors and exteriors as well as Dawnguard) have been redone from scratch.
;41281977']Speaking of ENB, I reinstalled Skyrim a small while ago and have been trying to find the ENB preset that I was using. Unfortunately the name has escaped my mind and I only got one picture left from that install. I'm guessing it was either Bleak or Fimbulvinter ENB, but again, I'm just guessing.
If anyone's knowledgeable in ENB presets, feel free to throw me a bone.
Do not ask, do not click. Only misery will follow.
It's odd how Mournhall feels to Morrowind what Qarth is to Westeros in GoT

Ahaha "Forstag the Sweltering" 'Why am I naked? Because it's hot! You people think everytime you see a naked nord it's because he's been tricked by some witch!?'
please stop calling it Mournhall it's killing me
how to not go snail speed in morrowind?
Remember that you can set Steed as your birthsign. That helps a lot.
please stop calling it Mournhall it's killing me
this
all the dialogue is text based so you probably have the name in your face about 300 times every play session and someone corrected you on it already

it's hard to tell what complex and subtle lighting and shader wrapper you have installed from one extreme close up of a face with a bit of wood texture- just search for another enb

Oh, all right, no need to get pantsy. I'll try to solve it on my own. Thanks anyway!
In all my playthroughs of Skyrim, i've never played a Mage. What are some tips for playing one?
Mages are kinda underpowered IMO.
Having not a shield to block or stealth to avoid fighting in Skyrim is sure death(at least in Deadly Combat).

I'm not getting pantsy, I'm just saying that what you're asking is like showing someone a square centimetre of a painting or 2 chords of a song and asking them to identify the originals - don't be surprised when you don't get any respondents

Don't. Or get a mod that massively cranks the power of magic up because otherwise the game can get quite frustratimg
I just got another continuity nod to Morrowind.
Remember those Scrolls of [sp]Icarian Flight[/sp]?
Turns out that people are still trying to do that trick. Except without the scrolls.
[sp]Guess what happens.[/sp]
Going to play Morrowind for the first time later today.
Woo.

Mages are pretty weak compared to previous ES games. But in previous ES games mages were always a bit on the easy side. If you're playing a mage, you can still carry a shield to block at the first few levels to ease the pain a little. Once you can create spell reduction gear it gets alot easier.
Meanwhile Novice mages have enough magicka to keep wards up near-permanently and spray you with fire/ice/lighting at the same time.
Prepare to get massacred by ice spikes :v:
