If you guys want a good Elder Scrolls adventure, try playing Minecraft. It's got enchanting, potions, and a terrible combat system. The lore can be deep, but the main quest sucks. The NPCs are voiced by like the same guy, and they're all lifeless and flat. The villages are uninspired and generic. Notch was but a man, he was raised to god status. The horses provide no real reason to use them.
It's all the same. Sue them! Sue them like you sued Scrolls!
Decides to browse the Workshop for a bit in Top rated. End up with 30+ extra mods and I could have gone on wasn't even out of 5/5 mods... Lets pray to Azura that Wyre Bash+Boss solves anything that can go wrong and that it will work.

Found out Character Creation Overhaul is compatible with SkyRe so I'm getting it for a proper roleplaying TES experience. I wish there was a "special advantages and disadvantages" mod for Skyrim. I fucking loved how you could make your character in daggerfall weak as shit with phobias to enemy types and weaknesses to poisons and magics, but then it would make you level really fast, or vice versa for special advantages.
Notch is.. a bit worse than Todd.. Say what you like, Bethesda puts out actual games
Notch puts out actual vacations
So I was fucking around with killing persons at the start. I resurrected her and a mod made her a skeleton(my necromancy mod?). IMPERIAL LEGION NEVER ENDS. YOUR SERVICE IS FOREVER.
It's also compatible with Third Era Attributes, so install that if you want more than 3 attributes in your game.
Is that mod compatible with SkyRe as well?
Looks like someone was stealing the gold of Cortez.
i'm trying to decide whether to post the theme from PotC or the theme from Oblivion not like anyone will notice that much of a difference
anyone check out the videos of Elder Scrolls Online? i think being able to see the other provinces is going to be cool and i enjoy semi-casual fantasy MMO's (last one i played was Runescape lmao), especially in ES lore.
I don't see any ES lore in ESO
yeah my bad, i guess "setting" is a better word

You know, bethesda could have provided a fairly simple but good difficulty system if they kept classes and major skills in. Think about it, the difficulty would effect how the game is played - the normal mode would just be like regular skyrim but your major skills would get a slight bonus, much like picking a stone in skyrim already does, but as you up the difficulty, the game becomes more RPG like, major skills start to matter, untrained skills wouldn't add to your level and you would suck ass with them, etc. It would have been a great way to appeal to both longtime fans and newcomers without this "HIGHER DIFFUCLTY = MOAR HEALTH & BUTTON MASHING" crap that we've had since oblivion.
Methinks: enchanting would have made more sense if they left attributes in. Buffing a specific skill is a little broke. Maybe a realy simple class selection thing. Like if there was a wheel with warrior/mage/thief and each starting class was on one of the spokes. They probably could have done a similar thing with races. Only shorter spokes show what someone's awful at and longer spokes show what they're good at (argonians would have slightly longer magic/stealth lines and a shortened warrior line, dunmer would have fairly even lines, altmer would have a tiny stealth line and a big magic line... and so on and so forth I don't know what the graph type is called so forgive me. point is: pictures rather than numbers would have made class creation easier. (but still, fallout style attributes would be good too)
I still don't really get why they decided to omit traditional attributes. I mean oblivion had pretty clear descriptions of what each one did, and how hard could it be to click on "Strength" and read the description right below it? And honestly, since your character doesn't have a build unmodded anymore, I feel like that makes the choice of health/magicka/stamina a little HARDER, since you have no "favored attributes" anymore to dictate which would be most useful for you.
Notch puts out actual vacations
Much of his vacations were because his father was in terrible health and later past away. He tried to see him as much as he could while he could.
Anyone else think the dwarves' disappearance had something to do with realizing that the whole world was a dream (if i remember correctly)
Anyone else think the dwarves' disappearance had something to do with realizing that the whole world was a dream (if i remember correctly)
It was because of Numidium. They made a god so they could all be gods and either they succeeded and got stuck in Atheus or they failed and got destroyed. There was also something about them becoming numidium's skin. Also, here we go again! Not that i complain, though, I love seeing you discuss lore and making theories.
[t]http://images.4chan.org/vg/src/1372963257025.png[/t]
What is this? Monster Hunter?

I can see why people think Skyrim is dumbed down as an RPG game. I decided to try out Morrowind after installing the graphic overhaul mod, and the game mechanics take getting used to after you figure out how everything works. Also, the Nix Hound. Is it just me or do they sound very similar to fast zombies from HL2?

Before, if Bethesda wanted to set a game in Black Marsh or whatever, they could do pretty much whatever the hell they want. Now, there's going to be a visual precedent set for every province by a new company that is doing everything at once in a game that doesn't respect the lore.
Holy shit did anyone read this shit yet? it makes me so mad
