So I'm trying to decide which dlc to get, Dragonborn or Dawnguard? Or are they both good enough that I should bite the bullet and get both?
Wait for the sale and just get both.
I read some lore last night on the wiki from a link posted a page or two back. Holy shit, can we get some adventures in Akavir? I didn't know there was a whole other continent.

That just made my entire day twenty times better.

Does anyone know of a mod that will get Irileth (Jarl of whiteruns huscarl) to shut up? I dont want to talk to her because that initiates the main quest line. Everytime Im in dragonsreach shes like BLAH BLAH INTERRUPTION BLAH BLAH IS NOT RECIVING VISITORS Would probably do a mod like that on my own if I knew how..

Here is a question for you Why do some people prefer the nexus over the steam workshop? Why do they want me to feel bad about releasing micropatches for my mods and having them download it over and over instead of all of it being automatic? I just dont get it, and it makes me sad :(

I just dont get it, and it makes me sad :(
The workshop may be locally optimal, but modding any TES game requires a look at the long run (because modding is very much the "long run" of any post-Oblivion TES) - in the large scheme of things, the Nexus is preferred because it's over time become the quickest way to get to the metric tonne of micromanagement that inevitably must come with any sufficiently complex mod stack - and so multiple decent toolchains exist; the Nexus works around that.
I'm now 30 hours into Morrowind with my stealthy wood elf, I'm going to keep going until I've at least finished the main storyline for the game + the expansions and then make the exact same character in Oblivion then do the same, then again in skyrim :v: I wont need to buy a new game until next gen probably
I guess that makes sense if you're someone who likes to have a lot of mods installed. I always try to get the least amount possible and periodically delete the ones I know are not essential to my current playthrough and tend to avoid complex mods that add a lot of fluff, always having everything up to date and downloading automatically after you reinstall the game is such a huge convenience

What a fun schedule your Bosmer has!
And then he went 200 years into the future to discover that he was dragonborn.

I see nothing inherently inviolable about it, and acknowledging a far smaller hard limit on modding, and in general what's possible in a game of TES5, is not the cost I'm going to pay to enjoy the Workshop's features. So it does tend to be a matter of different strokes for different folks in the end - but working with one of the two approaches means having to deal with the other just rags on you, so a small proportion of the vitriol's warranted. (Sorry for the multiple late edits: either CloudFlare or FP's been having issues.)
Browsing through my skyrim screenshots.. Whats wrong in this picture?
It's aliased?
aargh I got the "Llevule Andrano Skull" in Morrowind way before I needed it for that main-story quest and I think I sold it off somewhere random so I have no clue where to find it again. Does anyone know what I'd specifically write to spawn the item?

I feel all giggly.
Makes me feel guilty about shooting several rabbits. Also, my picture has a damn moose in the water who decided to ruin my screenshot :(
I was gonna say you were using vanilla weather, but the moose thing works too.
I think i've found someone to challenge Nepos The Nose for the title of Skyrim's biggest nose. Just look at that shit. It's massive...
I... I want to like Russians. I really really do. But outside of the occasional Facepuncher here and there, every Russian I've ever had to observe (Internet and otherwise) has been a selfish, intolerant, and/or manipulative prick. What the fuck? Is it the culture?
What an emotional and hasty generalisation. Do tell me that large amounts of americans are not bigoted aswell.
You began by asking "why this over this?" - and something in the vein of "why so many people?". But I couldn't care less about the argument now, either - although I do attempt to deal with the second by pointing out that a significant number of people take the other tack; so I've that (a) it's both inevitable that the distribution should lean towards Nexus users, and that (b) they should be incensed. I think it's got meaning outside the back-and-forth, but the whole shebang's bad for my liver as well. Anyone knows of a good way to level up destruction fast? Feels like it's taking ages to level it in a conventional way.

Anyone know any good OBGE configs/combinations? I want to make Oblivion a bit more vibrant but I can't get the correct settings.
