I have yet to understand the nexus community. How in oblivion does one think these mods improve the feel of the game. Someone tell me please so I can finally understand the thought process of the nexus community.
-snip-
Generally, a lot of people see modding as a way to customize your game. Not everyone cares about how the game feels without mods, or about lore, or anything, they just care that they get the end result they want. Some people like being a hardy nord warrior, who brutally demolishes enemies with a warhammer, but some people want to be like Dante or Bayonetta, whose fighting styles and equipment focus more on style than actual function (but still function well due to demons or magic or some shit), and some people just want porn.
So the voice actor for Brynjolf is the same as Master Miller in MGS Peace Walker. Immediately my favorite character so far. :)
Goddammit, there's something off about this picture.
It gives me an uneasy feeling, but I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
It's her lips.

Pretty much
I'd be surprised if Boris wasn't a massive homophobe really
Every screenshot he uses with people tends to involve big breasted marginalized "might as well just be sexy-HOTTxxxx objects" women and he comes from eastern europe
Pretty much a majority Eastern Europe is nothing but a bunch of backwater homophobes who think women are objects. If you notice where almost all of the "tit" and "sexy" mods for Skyrim/Oblivion all were made from people originating either from eastern europe or italy
Not all mind you, but if both of those regions never got into elder scrolls at all I 100% garuntee we'd have a situation like Morrowind where there are literally almost no "sexy" mods, except from the 2-3 well-established adult mod creators like AlenSlof (or whatever). And at least with alenslof you got both male and female forms represented instead of the "peanut gallery" you get now
I guess that makes sense if you're someone who likes to have a lot of mods installed. I always try to get the least amount possible and periodically delete the ones I know are not essential to my current playthrough and tend to avoid complex mods that add a lot of fluff, always having everything up to date and downloading automatically after you reinstall the game is such a huge convenience
Also, modders hate using workshop generally because:
1. Doesn't support special installation procedures you might need to do or read up on, like optional ESP features
2. Doesn't support 3rd party anything like SKSE or MCM
3. Small filesize limit requiring people to split their mod up many many times for larger mods
Plus forced automatic updates are awful if you have a specific load order and set of mods, as any mod updating will completely break that if your load order is fragile. Also, doesn't support merged level listings (as any mod that updates breaks this, which is extremely important if you are doing two mods that both add to the loot tables for example).
italy
Woah there now.
You could say that happens with our television channels unfortunately but it's definitely not part of our culture. One member of our parliament was the first transgender to be elected in all of europe, that doesn't sound like a homophobic backwater country to me.
I've also never seen a single italian modder and could list a whole buch that come from all of europe so I think you might be talking out of your ass a bit here.
I'm not liking how americans make sweeping generalisations and get angry when stereotypes about themselves are aired.
That's very hypocritical.

Just noticed how kickass a full Dwarven Armor looks.
(and that Dwarven Ingots are very easy to get if you know where to look for them).
Does the nmm not install deadly mutilation correctly...? Because it doesnt seem to work when I install the core then copy over the meshes into data.
Sometimes the download link won't always work in downloading the entire mod correctly. In those instances I usually manually download the archived file and then add it to NMM.
I haven't used deadly mutilation so I can't comment on that mod in particular.

Quite frankly, everybody on the goddamn planet is a festering pile of shit. The only difference between one festering pile of shit and another is the way it gets formed.

I resent that; you smell far worse than me.

What about those smelly piles of shit who works for other smelly piles of shit to live better lives? Or those smelly piles of shit who accomplish great things?
What about those smelly piles of shit who works for other smelly piles of shit to live better lives?
They likely don't have the means to carry out their own acts of shitty.

Shit with Febreze sprayed on it.

To tie this back into TES:
Todd Howard is shit for obvious reasons.
Fuck I thought I was in the TES thread I'll show myself out.
Well you thought wrong, this is the Shitheads and Nationalists Anonymous thread.

I assisted this friendly bandit get comfortable and take a nap in his favorite chair - all from a hill 100 meters away! He looks so peaceful...
So I've moved onto Oblivion with my stealthy bosmer. First dungeon I find a ring of constant nighteye, second I find a ring of constant chameleon..
It's meant to be!
Is there anything to have console commands like "teofis" being applied at the start of Skyrim automatically so I don't have to enter it every time I start Skyrim?
I remember in oblivion once you had enchanted your entire gear with Chamelion it was basically gg
3rd dungeon, you CTD upon entering.
That is normal, right.

Matey its the bloody trademark engine of Bethesda.
It crashes if you sneeze into a hankey.
It crashes when you jump, or open doors.
It'll crash without rhyme or reason, simply to dick with you.
Its the fucking Gamebryo engine.

I never crash. Not with Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3 or Vegas. The same can be said for EVERY computer I've ever run them on.
The only times I've crashed have been due to my PC not being able to cope (overheating and such) and mod instabilities. I don't know what you guys are doing that I'm not.
Come to think of it, maybe that's why Bethesda can't QA test. It works perfectly on all their hardware, so they can't track down the bugs/crashes.

I hope so, and what's wrong with maps? I find them to be superlative wall-decoration-things.

I prefer something more scenic such as this

Problem is that buying posters off of deviant art costs a fortune.
