Personally I think the Argonians look rad as fuck now.

If it wasn't for the shape of the head and the jaw (top of the head especially) this would be even better than skyrim's argonians
Elder Scrolls: Wind Waker would rule, to be honest. Gimme a boat and a bunch of islands to explore. Heck yeah.
I've had the idea where Skyrim would be in the summer season. The water levels would rise, and everything (Except the mountain tops) would have dirt / grass instead of snow, and Vurt's Summer Flora as a requirement.
Then I'd have to go through and remove all the "Cold weather" dialogues.
And sea monsters. Big ole' sea monsters.
Something still feels off about some of those.
I really want a new well written elder scrolls game again. TES does have a world that's actually quite interesting, but they aren't really doing it justice anymore. And TES:O has some neat designs but the story is feeling less like story and more like TES 14 year old fan fiction.
The Khajiit look like ohmes-raht, not suthay, and the Argonians look like mum-ra. Both faces are still too smashed in.
Though I guess running around with a nude mod and wing mod going
I AM THE EVERLIVING
would be totes awesome.

Those are Ohmes-raht, they have human facial feature.

This look like a cat, and is a Suthay-raht.
Umm.

Congraulations, you've accomplished more than I ever will. That game is HARD.
One thing I don't understand about Skyrim is why the dark elves all became Australian.

No, they look anthro'd out the yaya compare to the skyrim version, that's not really up for debate.
I would go dig out the "not furry, furry, dangerously furry pic" but frankly it isn't worth the argument and if you turn the face to the side I bet you a dollar it's WAY more smashed in than the skyrim equivalent. They're an order of magnitude better than they were, but it's still not suthay.

That male head in Daggerfall looks shopped in, looking at it outside the game.
Bro that is state of the art shading, he is manly-cat.

they sound more cockney brit imo
Why is there no options in the main menu?
[editline]fdas[/editline]
Nevermind, figured it out. But the game is like really fucking quiet even though my volume is turned all the way up

For some reason, leveled lists are incredibly unbalanced.
In my second playthrough, I found an elven claymore in the first dungeon.
I'm guessing those are elven greaves?

It's worth it if you can get into it.
[SUB][SUB][SUB]It helps to cheat. I'm glad they added a cheat mode.

TES Confession:
I have never made it out of the starting dungeon in Daggerfall. I always get my ass kicked by two rats after I kill an Archer.
Maybe it's just because I've made so many different characters, but I don't find the starter dungeon too bad anymore.
My current character was able to kill the bear with his fists. (Also I don't think I've ever cheated before aside from alt+f11 to get unstuck out of something)
Even if you have a gimp character, if you look up the dungeon layout (starter is static) you can get to the exit pretty quick while avoiding the majority of combat save for a few bats and rats.
Now the Arena starter dungeon on the other hand is a totally different story. It makes the DF starter look like a game for casuals.
I really love day/night cycles in this game. The pixelated graphics really lend a certain charm to the tan/yellowish mornings and blood red sunsets.

You look like Kevin Sorbo
strangely appropriate
Playing through Daggerfall now and I made it out of the Tutorial level for the first time (woot!). But my first quest was one where I have to switch a note with a forged one. I found a chest that was private property and closed the door behind me. Somehow, magically the Guards know I was in there and are now screaming "HALT!" all over the place..what do I do? How does one go about not being noticed.

Okay even dumber. After getting away with it (Pleading not guilty and debating it) I noticed I was hurt. So I went to rest. It said it is illegal so I figure okay I'll go to an Inn. Well apparently just thinking about resting in a town gets you the death penalty....
Daggerfall's custom class class system is so broken and unbalanced if you aren't exploiting it you're playing wrong.
It's either poison or paralysis, can't remember which off the top of my head, but the monsters in the game will never do it to you, so you can get a free dire weakness to it in your class to boost your leveling speed by a ton or to give yourself amazing positive traits with no drawback.
Or disallow use of bows as a knight type character and never notice ect.
If you aren't going custom class you're majorly gimped.

Damn, Helseth looks pretty cool.
Nulfaga's still my favorite, though.

Pretty sure it's poison. I get paralyzed all the time.
A character with a weakness to poison and an immunity to paralysis would work very well.
Working on some armor replacements for daggerfall. Hopefully with daggerXL these will become additions instead of just replacements for the old stuff.

Vagrancy will only get you a couple of days in prison (you're supposed to loiter outside instead). If you accidentally try to rest just run from the guards and lose them, don't worry they don't magically know your crimes until your reputation goes to shit.
Also the chest thing is because one of your skills (stealth or pickpocket? I forget which is) is too low. Basically all "private property" has a skill check where the higher your skill is the higher the chance of not getting caught. Since it should be pickpocketing, you can always train it by using it on civilians until you get caught then run away.
It seems that every lighting mod makes daytime look great and makes nights 100% pitch black.

That looks pretty neat!
You should make a version with the yellow detailing.
I always hated how the scale armor pieces didn't have yellow detail.
Are there any nice lighting mods that include the ability to see at night?
Are there any nice lighting mods that include the ability to see at night?
climates of tamriel includes an optional darker nights plugin which you can just choose not to install

use cot for exteriors, RLO for interiors

Climates of Tamriel looks really nice but is it compatible with Realistic Lightning Overhual? Because that's one of the best lightning mods imo

This one is really nice if you find a lighting mod that you like but it has dark nights.
