Unarmored is an armor specialization.

Well yeah, I mean, should I pick any other to go with it. Unarmoured is a must have for beast races in Morrowind as they cannot wear shoes.
Should I get the Skyrim dlc while it's 50% off in the Flash Sale or hope it gets reduced more later on? Decisions, decisions...
-never mind-
Like 20 dollars for Morrowind fuqdat
Is Sperg a good choice for skill re-balance?
It's solid, but there are better, imo.

It's 12bux right now, probably going to be cheaper if there's a flash sale or a franchise sale.
Just got given the Legendary Skyrim bundle from my brother for an early birthday present. I had it on xbox, but now I get to use all the workshop items. I'm really looking forward to playing this again.
You can get a retail GOTY edition of Morrowind for 4€ here, it's overpriced as hell on Steam.

I'm confused. The mod reads like it has a nice, huge overhauling description about more choice, a complete skill rebalancing, more etc but when I look at it all it seems to do is add about 3-8 perks to all the perk trees with a few misc features like getting perk points from quests.
Good, because I was worried that someone had done what my mod already set out to do :v: good to know I'm still in the running.
Alright, so I'm getting the dlc and Skyrim seems to run just well enough for me to be able to play it on my laptop. What mods can people recommend that aren't SkyRe?

Or Estrus, for that matter.

Mods can become pretty intense, just a forewarning for performance and crashes.
Also I decided to just reinstall warzones since i couldnt really get to it work and I dont feel like re-downloading all of skyrim.
Just bought the Oblivion GOTY Deluxe pack, I want to mod it so it looks more modern.
There's a shitton of mods and I have no idea what i'm doing.
Get OBGE and Qarls textures.

darnified ui, qarl's texture pack 3 redimized OMOD, obse, all natural, vibrant weather, oblivion character enhancement, unique landscapes, open cities reborn, bomret's SI textures
and OBMM and wrye bash to manage all of them
and when you're comfortable with mods you can try OBGE, I say this because a) it's some fairly advanced shit that requires a bit of tinkering and b) i'll need to sort out the right obge versions and shit, which is a task I can't be arsed with right now
How do people stick with an Argonian character? I never last longer than a few minutes with them.
They are lizard people
[editline]11th July 2013[/editline]
how can you not play as them
I can see why it isn't being "dumbed down" but there is a severe lack of features and complexity in Skyrim that were in the previous games.
Anyone notice each game seems to get progressively smaller, even with the larger game world?
Baring Daggerfall, Morrowind had around 400 quests, and guilds, like the fighters guild had 31 quests, oblivion had 231, and the guilds had like 18 or 19 - Skyrim has over 200 quests like oblivion, but most of the quests are not nearly as long or in depth, and most of the guilds are literally less than half the length of Oblivion's.
Haha, I thought Atronach would be tough, but it's actually great - just summon an ancestor wraith with magicka you have left, attack it and enjoy a free refill.
I bought a crossbow.
I don't care that my Marksman skill is like 6, it looks cool when I run with it.
With each iteration the amount of work it takes to make content has risen
how so?
bethesda's toolkit is almost exactly the same between Skyrim and Oblivion, plus now there's better scripting support

Because there's more to making a video game than scripting and using a toolkit. You have to factor in things like Modelling, Animating, Sound work, Writing, Mapping, QA and bug testing, and all the other stuff that goes into making a video game these days.

What bug testing.
Anything Bethesda makes looks like shit anyway so they might as well just focus on everything else and leave aesthetics to the modders :v:

I'm convinced it's the leveled world. Just think of what the word actually means when you divorced it from its RPG meaning. Flat world. It's more of a centerpiece for gameplay/design than it used to be and I think it fucks with the way Bethesda is approaches the game as a whole. It's open to interpretation, but Skyrim just seems like a high-wire act designed to hide a hub-dungeon formula.
