Anyone else here having problems with Immersive Armors for Skyrim, in the sense that it just doesn't appear in the NMM? I download it for 20 minutes only to get... nothing
Alternatively, any other nice additions which expand upon the armors, without going all "BIG BOOB BIKINI CHAINMAILS"?
Plus for some reason, using Climates of Tamriel, the interiors get that weird glowing hazy look during rainy weathers, any way to disable that?
Is there an official map of the entirety of Nirn?
For those who are considering it, Hearthfire is great in my opinion. Building your own house is the thing which has the greatest actual effect on the game world.

I haven't had that issue but NMM sometimes acts up. You could just download the mod with your browser than add it into NMM.
To be fair its a place between a swamp and farmlands, it makes sense to have a lush ecosystem there. It may seem like it should more barren lore-wise, but the only reason is because there's a foyada nearby which is just a area of volcanic run off from red mountain- not really representative of the nearby ecosystem. I'd imagine if it weren't for the limitations of the time the vanilla version would have more vegetation.
That said I'll probably turn it off. I was looking more for a graphical overhaul, not re-imagining.
It seems just too time-consuming a nod to livability, though, for a city for the lower-to-middle classes - why bother with tree upkeep when you can just let the plebeians flatten more land into dirt and dust and expand?

does anyone know how to fix this stupid error, I've searched everywhere and my copy of skyrim is legit.
BethSoft's past attempts at releasing documents as pre-game PR just keep on giving - it's worth noting, for example, that Oblivion's Nu-Mantia Intercept prefaces (in far more detail than Skyrim will easily reveal to you) the perceived intent of the Thalmor - from the perspective of one of the more engaged organs of the Empire, but that's stuff they've refused to follow upon in Skyrim:

Council members, haste trumps ceremony.
[elided: What are the Towers? Worth reading as well, although it's hard to say whether that'll ever get worked in with any meaning.]
As they were the most powerful of lesser spirits in the ages after the Convention and eager to emulate what they saw, the Aldmer began construction of their own towers. That they built more than one shows you that they were not of one mind.
The Aldmer began to split along cultural lines, on how best to spread creation and their parts in it. Each Tower that was built exemplified a separate accordance.
This sundering of purpose is the myth of the "destruction of Aldmeris." Outside of the Dawn, and even then only in the dreamtime of its landscape, there was never a terrestrial homeland of the Elves. "Old Ehlnofey" is a magical ideal of mixed memories of the Dawn.
Do not believe the written histories.
All mortal life started on the starry heart of Dawn's beauty, Tamriel.

If only they would sanction a bit more of this type of theoretical surgery. It may be abstruse, but good god it's wonderful fodder for more concrete stuff.
The time has come, I shall play Morrowind once more. I never played a mage so the choice is obvious. Any advice?
Learn the calm spell, make lots and lots of money, level up your most important magic skills up to 100 through finding the master trainers.
Alright so I was in Blackreach when this effect showed up on my character, it is very annoying and I'd like to get rid of it.

According to an interview ESO no longer has a minimap, there is a map when you press M, but it uses the Compass from previous games on the main HUD. ESO keeps sounding like its just an online Elder Scrolls game, not a generic MMO.
I thought it was good interview for those whoa re interested or on the fence about ESO

I like Jesse, he's a cool guy, and I kinda trust his optimism on TES:O, gonna have to watch that vid later when I have the time.
This fucking bug appeared again. Grainy shadows on everything. I remember there being some kind of value to change in Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini to fix it but I can't recall what it was. Any ideas?
In case it helps any, I'm using the Bleak ENB with slight modifications to the colours and low-end settings in the launcher (low radial blur q, low shadow quality, no decals, fxaa enabled)
Try iBlurDeferredShadowMask=3
Again is there a mod for Morrowind that makes stamina act like it does on oblivion or skyrim? As in it doesn't run out while running.

No, that would be dumbing down the game and we don't want that in here. It's totally realistic to faint and fall down every 2 seconds after swinging a knife 10 times...

Morrowind character progression: pathetic wannabe to badass hero.
Oblivion character progression: normal guy to semi-badass hero.
Skyrim character progression: badass hero to badass hero with a cool hat.
Isn't Oblivion normal guy to pathetic wannabe to badass hero? It's all games in one!
His first point is garbage.
Because AI can die to things like Dragons, other NPCs, and Cliffs the player shouldn't be able to kill him.
Just make it so they can only take damage from Players, not that silly.
He addressed that in the second video, saying that really it's up to you if you want an emaciated peasant to be immune to dragonfire, and yet totally vulnerable to the player wielding a rusty butter knife.

Actually from what I've expirienced
Morrowind character progression: pathetic wannabe to motherfucking fuck shit upper of everything demigod
Oblivion character progression: normal guy to very powerfull hero (potentially to very weak hero if wrong built against the awful level scaling)
Skyrim character progression: usual hero to usual hero with a cool hat
You talking shit about my oblivion character? I'll have you know he conquered over one hundred Oblivion gates, became Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild, Champion of the Arena, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Master of the Fighters Guild, and there were also rumors of him being the Gray Fox.
He is also the Hero of Kvatch and savior of Tamriel. So the next thing you decide to talk shit about my Oblivion character, you should think twice before you get incinerated into ashes by his custom made spell that can wipe out the entire continent with one cast.
Needs more random Flip-Flop and Inter-Zoobies.
Would be hilarious if the hero of Kvatch being all those this was canon. And the theory that he is [sp]sheogorath.[/sp]

how can you not play as them
because, being a human irl, I can't relate to them enough to become immersed
How do you play as elves, cat-people or women, then? In fact, how can you get immersed with eating resources that you don't even know what is and can't relate to in real life?

I don't play as elves, cat-people or women.
I also eat Gourds every day.

One stop shop for removing magical effects.

I'm still trying to make sense of this post. Dear god, put that thesaurus down man.
If its saying what I think its saying, then all the games up to Skyrim I think were planned since the late 90's. You can see it in the redguard intro video for a brief moment (which came out before Morrowind did) - as it flys past the books in a bookshelf, each book is titled "The Elderscrolls X: Y", with X being the number and Y being the game. They had Oblivion there as the fourth game, morrowind there as the third game, and something thats a bit too unreadable as the fifth game.

Yeah that's more accurate actually.
I don't understand how you guys ever achieve those damn effects on you. The most I get is the fire effect that's stuck on my character for a few minutes.
I wish Skyrim didn't have the stupid Alduin shit as its main quest. The Civil War and the Thalmor's invasion was a lot more interesting than a shitty boss fight.
