;41535611']Please do. I want to see if it breaks my game or not, since I have the Legendary edition with all them addons. Also, considering my current character's mercenary-like and magic-despising morality, would joining Dawnguard be considered a-okay? I figure it's better than vampires who are much more magic-based, but Dawnguard uses restoration, don't they?
A horrible vampire apocalypse isn't good for the mercenary business anyway.
I always feel guilty for not playing a Nord in Skyrim, it feels like the game wants me to be one and focuses on that.
I always feel guilty for not playing a Nord in Skyrim, it feels like the game wants me to be one and focuses on that.
That's what makes playing an argonian or a khajiit so sweet though, everyone talks to you like you're a viking when really you couldn't be more different.
I bought Skyrim on Steam yesterday and I'm getting this bug in the menu where the background flickers rapidly. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
It'd also be a good way to hint that the player should run if their character's hands are shaking uncontrollably.
I don't think Bethesda should try to artificially create something that ought to already be an inherent user-gameplay dynamic. If the dungeons weren't sets of copy pasted leveled lists you'd know that feeling, as per my earlier post on the matter.
You could try. The program is called creation kit and the shitty and restrictive scripting language is papyrus. You can find tutorials here.
Yep, Papyrus is complete crap. Using ScriptDragon / C++ instead. My mod is almost done, I just need to tweak acceleration and friction. Already kicks the shit out of gamebryo player physics.
Is SKSE supposed to launch when I launch Skyrim through Steam directly? Because it doesn't seem to.
Is SKSE supposed to launch when I launch Skyrim through Steam directly? Because it doesn't seem to.
You can use a hex editor to have SKSE launch through it, but it's a bit tricky.
you can just link the skse .exe into your Steam library and rename it as Skyrim
Any tips on how to get the most out of a magic user playthrough? I got Balanced Magic. Anything else? [editline]20th July 2013[/editline] Also any good magic animation mods? The default animations look very bland.
Let's be honest though: If you were a warrior of modest skill. Armed and armoured in fine steel... you'd still be terrified facing a daedroth in a dark crypt, wouldn't you?
Not if you're RPing a super cocky knobhead.
Stumbled on this
Wow I am disappointed in the nexus, I can search dragon dicks and find well...........dragon dicks, but there isnt a single god damn dwemer wheel chair mod so I can play an angry nord with broken legs. Imagine charging into battle on a fuckin wheel chair chasing horses and shit...It would be terrifying, and would definitely need to deal "ramming damage" for when you get max speed (5 mph) you just run those bitches over. Very slowly.
There is one rather large problem with my physics mod, I have no idea how to tell if the character I'm calculating movement for is the player or not.

How unfortunate for my eyes. Off to the Hot Girls Megathread for some good ol' eye bleach.
Did you click the little box to include adult files? c: edit - Pls dont I was just trying to see if I could make you search dragon dicks twice.
I have Adult Files on always, just for the hilarity. I didn't find anything. Also Deadly Mutilation and Killable Children don't show up unless you have it on.
Is SKSE supposed to launch when I launch Skyrim through Steam directly? Because it doesn't seem to.
1. Download ScriptDragon 2. Rename skse_1_whatever.dll to skse_same_thing.asi tada it just auto loads SKSE
I don't understand how, with all of the VA dialogue from Morrowind being available in loose files, no one has bothered to either chop them up or use them as-is for new NPCs in Skyrim. With the breadth of dialogue for the Dunmer alone you could assemble a huge word bank. The Khajiit and Argonian material is also so, so good and exploitable by itself.

Doesn't seem to be stopping half the content on the nexus. [editline]20th July 2013[/editline] Nonetheless, yes, you're probably right. What a shame.

Well I was enjoying tales of lycanthropy and having forced werewolf changes on full moon, until it happened it whiterun and every. fucking. guard. barely takes damage and is an expert shot with a bow. Because iron arrows are totally capable of taking down a werewolf right? Fuckin Bethesda. I miss when weapon materally actually mattered other then determining the amount of damage you do. Fucking running around as a werewolf in daggerfall and swiping people with my claws and watching them vanish into puffs of blood is way more fun then this guard bullshit.
Alright, I've got my Oblivion to look the best it can with graphics mods. Any gameplay mods I should use? Also are there any graphics mods for all the dlc? (not just shivering isles or knights of the nine, I'm talking horse armor, mehrunes razor, etc)
I'd like to see screenshots of your oblivion with mods. I'm assuming you have Quarl's texture pack? Also I've heard good thing about Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, but then again I haven't actually played the game in a long time so I've no idea if it's any good.

This is what I settled with. I'll check out Oscuro's, thanks!
You could use the +5 modifier on level up so you shouldn't have to level efficiently. And of course use the unofficial patches.

I'm using Moonlight Tales or something like that and it has moon cycles too, but instead I modified it to have a full moon every night (considering Nirn has like fifty thousand moons) so I can zerg rush a bandit lair at night and do business at day. I still wish Ring of Hircine allowed me to transform whenever the hell I wanted. It'd be cooler IMO if full moon gave you buffs when in werewolf form rather than be the only form of transformation. I mean Skyrim's vampires aren't exactly the same as classic vampires, why should the werewolves follow the classic type as well that everyone knows from movies?
Also any good magic animation mods? The default animations look very bland.
The only ones I've found makes your character into a faffy ballet dancer and one that replaces the sprinting animation so you don't look like a faffy ballet dancer.
