I'm going through a dungeon to get a staff or something when suddenly a big ass skeleton dragon comes out of the fog. I summon my flame atronach and begin to shit fireballs upon the derg. Suddenly my screen is covered in ice and I'm looking at my corpse on the ground. All in about 300 ms. [/legendarymode]
I have an NPC based on the AtronachFlame race, have it in PotentialMarriageFaction and have the Amulet of Mara equipped. Why don't I get the marriage dialogue?
An NPC also needs to have a relationship rank above a certain value, use console and do setrelationshiprank player 4 player.setrelationshiprank player 4 While targeting the Atronach
An NPC also needs to have a relationship rank above a certain value, use console and do setrelationshiprank player 4 player.setrelationshiprank player 4 While targeting the Atronach
Already set to that in the Creation Kit, verified it's working in-game with getrelationshiprank. After 1,000 years of grinding Conjuration to 100, I am a licensed Daedric pimp. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2013-07-26_000041.jpg[/t]
It also needs to have a voicetype that allows it to be married. Either add the Flame Atronach voice to the list, or change the Flame Atronach voice to a marriageable one...

Make it sound ethereal or fiery, you know.
Turns out wards block dragon breath. Also turns out that, in balanced magic, wards cost no mana to maintain, only to block damage. Wards are awesome now.

Also, does anyone else think that the CoW questline was rather....bad? If so, what'd you change about it?

Word of warning people, writing crap out properly takes SHITTON longer than writing it in a journal format: [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/OHGOD9.png[/t] Kill me
Does anyone else think that the CoW questline was rather....bad? If so, what'd you change about it?
You run through 3 dungeons and suddenly, you are archmage. It looks like Bethesda made the first two quests to be interesting and wanted to make the college a place where you actually learn and train magic. Then they were out of time and threw together something quick.
Is Skyrim's PSB (unlock all 'spells') command supposed to make the game crash when you enter the magic menu? Messing around with all the spell effects was a fun way to pass time and empty the Imperial City in Oblivion, but I can't seem to be able to do that in Skyrim. There is also no list of quest/triggered/npc shouts/spells/powers so I can't add them manually with player.addspell #. If the crashing is normal or even abnormal, is there a way to fix it?
works fine for me. [editline]26th July 2013[/editline] [editline]26th July 2013[/editline] they really like showing off their First Person view in these videos now.
I didn't think scamps were ever supposed to look so evil. They were all cute and cuddly in the last few games.
I didn't think scamps were ever supposed to look so evil. I'm not sure what to think about this.
They really like showing off their First Person view in these videos now.
That means they must have improved it and feel ready to show it off. Hopefully that means ZeniMax Online feel more ready for open beta/release.

They did at least not looks as feral. They looked more like something that would trick you into selling your soul, rather than beasts that will tear you apart in great groups.

Tes:o's scamps look like they're gonna rape and mutilate you till death. Morrowind/oblivion's scamps look like they vandalise property and pull hurtful pranks.
Some bugs, glitches and weird stuff I encountered. I wish I could record all the time with 60fps.
Those Scamps actually look pretty good. I was kinda sad that they weren't in Skyrim. They were one of my favorite creatures in Oblivion, and why Whom Gods Annoy was one of my favorite quests.
I'm new to modding and such and seem to be having issues getting skyre to work with immersive armors and weapons: the added items seem useless more often than not, doing much less damage than they seem they should. Would anyone be able to offer some advice?

Yesterday I've visited Skyrim Nexus looking for some texture improvements. Some time later I realized that a part of my brain died.
[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2013-07-26_00005.jpg[/t]
Best thing to come out of Facepunch since "Fuck Shit Up"
What exactly are you doing?
Writing a journal. [editline]26th July 2013[/editline]
Yesterday I've visited Skyrim Nexus looking for some texture improvements. Some time later I realized that a part of my brain died.
Just like the site sometimes. Edit: Oh god, I looked at the child mod on the top files. How did the developer not realize that they look fucking horrifying!?
What exactly are you doing?
While playing the game I kept an in character journal of the stuff happening. Now I'm going through it and writing it as an actual story. My point was that something as mundane as "Took carriage to Morthal" in the journal becomes at minimum a description of walking up to the carriage, a small conversation with the driver and a description of the journey itself. It gets pretty obtuse pretty fast.
If I ever start with that, I'll describe exactly how I kill someone, where I hit and how I'd image that person to die. For example:
[...]I hit the deer from the back, it briefly froze and collapsed down the hill. At first, I assumed I had hit its spine, paralyzing it, but that was before I approached the body. The animal was still twitching, slightly, but I was sure the fall would have broken its neck and killed it. I was expecting finding the arrow sticking out somewhere, but it didn't seem to be that obvious. After searching around, I found the back end of the arrow, sticking right out the animal's rear. My shot must have gone accurately gone up the deer's ass, tearing it apart from inside. It must have briefly suffered, before falling down the hill and hitting a rock with its head to put it out of its misery. I pulled the arrow, still covered in a mix of shit and blood out of the animal and checked if it could be used again. If it was, I was sure to use it on someone I really, really hated. [...]
Worst part is that this usually happens on all my hunting missions. :v:

There's a limited number of ways they can play out, and I really don't want to use up all my ideas on killing bandit number 152892. Maybe I just need to practice it.
