The Elder Scrolls Megathread XV: A Song of Ice and Draugr - Games

Didn't even realize it was on sale, I just nabbed it as well :v: Always wanted to have it on steam. [editline]3rd August 2013[/editline] Might have to pick up some of the graphical mods for the game considering from what I've see, vanilla morrowind graphics have aged like milk. Any recommendations besides MGE/Unoffical Patches/etc? Not planning on taking out the dice roll hit/miss system, as silly as it is for it to be in the game I'd rather not get rid of it.

Did what I've done in every TES game first Buy a battle axe and go hit shit with it and it only took 15 seconds to kill a mudcrab! My adventure begins.

Wow enhanced crossbow is OP when you have 80 archery and good smithing skills. [editline]3rd August 2013[/editline] I'm putting out 90 damage per shot with 30% faster draw speed.

I feel like Hearthfire and Dawnguard expanded on things that the devs didn't have time to put into the vanilla release of the game, such as vampirism, homes, ranged weapons and so forth. Dragonborn on the other hand feels more like a nostalgic trip and plays a more unique style over the rest of the game.

Damn it, Morrowind is 75% off but I don't have enough money in my steamwallet.

playing morrowind and why cant I kill this tiny worm thing with my claymore also my character has to live with the fact that half of his body is covered by heavy armor and the other by rags

I've encountered a strange error. I have a Faster Bolts and a Faster Arrows mod, but regardless of what Faster x mod I use, Quick Shot perk seems to fuck it over and makes them regular speed again :c With crossbows it isn't as bad, since they generally kill everything in one shot anyway, but with longbows it becomes a real pain. Vanilla speed arrows travel so. Fucking. Slowly.

Is there any way to transfer your save from your Xbox onto your PC? I just got Legendary Edition on Steam but I don't want to let all the grinding and progress I made on console to go to waste.

I wanted to get a bunch of mods and try playing Oblivion again. And I just noticed I only have the standard GOTY edition, not the deluxe GOTY edition. I didn't even notice there were two different versions when I was purchasing it. I only have two of the DLC released for Oblivion. :(

Ah, 80s and early 90s copy protection. Reminds me of Prince of Persia and the "drink the lettered potion" crap. I had the amiga version, but I had the manual for the atari version so it would always be wrong and I'd always drink poison after the first level.
