I may save too frequently.
You think that's often? I've played 50 hours now and have 2000 saves. At 40 hours I had 1200 saves.

31 hours 1600 saves for me. [editline]4th August 2013[/editline] Ah well, except the 10 hours, 800 saves. Not sure how you managed that haha.
I hope you guys delete saves before the last 50 or so. They really take up space.
I haven't even thought of that. I use script mods too so I guess they bloat :v:

Get on my level, I always overwrite the same save.
;41713525']You think that's often? I've played 50 hours now and have 2000 saves. At 40 hours I had 1200 saves.
Casual, I've played 206, and I've got two. Quicksave and Autosave.
Casual, I've played 206, and I've got two. Quicksave and Autosave.
You risky son of a bitch.
He commits I do the same now more often, I used to reload after every save but now I just go with it and say "this is how it is" when it happens. I still save a bit more often though because of how frequently I add mods, already fucked up like 5 of my 90 saves.
Casual, I've played 206, and I've got two. Quicksave and Autosave.
I have 3. Quicksave, autosave and one I overwrite every time I stop playing.
Poems, riddles, extremely short stories, call them what you want, to me it's just gibberish.
I'm generally at a complete loss with one but when I get the answer I'm always like FUCK SAKE THAT WAS SO OBVIOUS
I only use a regular save if I get to a point where I might want to branch of down a different path.
-snip- fixed
CTD on startup is quite often caused by a wrong load order (mod trying to load something that doesn't exist yet). Try using BOSS to sort it out. If that doesn't help some of the mods you added might just be incompatible with each other.
Hey, anyone know some essential Oblivion mods (Other than OOO)? Bought Oblivion yesterday in a Steam sale.
Kinda tough to ease back into oblivion, even though it was my first TES game and kinda set the standard for me what I think they should be like, the combat is so wonky even with mods when I compare it to my modded Skyrim. The visuals as far as characters go are also, needlessly to say, a bit ass. For all of the shit people give it for being "dumbed down" (which I don't really agree with but ehh) Skyrim definitely did very well in the character design department.

The only "dumbed" down thing about Skyrim is it's Quest system and UI. Otherwise, I think it's a 100% improvement over Oblivion. Although, I did enjoy Oblivion more simply due to Cyrodiil being more deserve than Skyrim.
After Oblivion, Skyrim rescued the character design imo
I didn't even really think about how silly people looked in Oblivion, just kinda saw it as just the way the game was. I mean, I knew it was kind of wonky but I didn't know any better at the time. Then once skyrim came out and someone made a video comparing the armor and characters from both and.... Yea. As great as oblivion was, the character design shows that it was a bit off of perfect :v:
Oblivion had decent weapon design, but that was it for the most part. Seriously look at this. Although I'm not a big fan of Skyrim's daedric armor though Oblivion's looks wonky as fuck - I want somebody to make a mod based on the male concept art for Oblivions daedric armor The concept version looks seriously badass. I don't know how they fucked the game version up so much despite the similar design.
More realms that you explore with Brhuce. Next one is Quagmire (Warning: Spooky)

Welp I've done with Skyrim, got rid of all the awful mods and decided to go back to Morrowind. Man Skyrim was such a letdown
Something I've always hated about Daedric Armors is that spikes = evil, for once I'd like to see someone make an evil looking armor without covering it in goddamn spikes.
Well it fits though. Daedra like inflicting pain, spikes are painful. They optimize their armor to do as much damage to their opponent at the same time of protecting their body.

They might have other goals as well, although usually it is painful.
I'm playing some Daggerfall and have found a magic amulet, I'm wondering, how do you identify it? Also, skeletons sounds fucking creepy.

(The folks at RPGCodex could give you an earful about replacing mean-chances-of-failure with maximum limits that perks slowly remove, but I'm not ready to advance that point just yet - there are probably far more interesting edge-case corollaries to replacing leveling proper with the perk system.)
;41713621'] Get on my level, I always overwrite the same save.
Overwriting saves, quicksaving or autosaving is dangerous in any Gamebryo game. It's bound to cause problems sooner or later.
