So has anyone taken the time to see how much of a badass Skyrim's emperor Titties N Mead 2: electric boogaloo was? (titus mede II) Like I always see everyone in the game complaining about how he is a coward but reading up on what he did...hes anything but one.
*story time*
...I need to read more books.
Oh shit, this is pretty neat:

That's cool and all but it only needs one sight. Skyrim is the only game where you shoot the bow on an angle...
Am I the only one who has noticed in Skyrim that the bow and crossbows seem to have a distance where arrows just kind of stop existing? I was trying to snipe mammoths and I had my crossbow at what I know was a perfect angle to hit it, but it just kinda disappeared more or less. Tried the same thing with a bow, same results. Any mods to fix this or anything?

Yea the draw distance pops them into oblivion. It's very annoying. But so is long distance archery in general. I found a fix that stops the arrows from popping out but I can't find one that helps me shoot more accurately.
See this thread (on the Steam forums) for a fix.

Actually, the two sights are needed. One is for aiming while standing, one is aiming while crouching.

Put these settings in Skyrim.ini for it:
[Actor]
fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=12288.0000
[Combat]
f1PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7
f1PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7
f3PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7
The first one increases the distance you can fire arrows, the second one makes your aiming more accurate.
modern bows

Skyrim bow shouldn't be based off modern bows.
what kind of fucking bow has sights.
This bow:

Who says sights are restricted to modern bows?
Even though the bow has had sights attached to them last century, doesn't mean someone else in a fiction universe wouldn't stop to think "What if I attach something on this that'll help me aim better?"

You need multiple sights for the sneaking animation and the normal animation bro.
Thief's bow has a sight but that one above is much more extravagant and it makes it look more unfitting.

Technically the sight on the side is the only one you need. If Bethesda animated the bow properly.

Yeah, but what's the point in arguing that, when the modder made sights that work with vanilla animations. Hell, what's the point in bringing that up anyway, it seems to work with vanilla Bethesda animations, and the only thing that is really the modder's fault is the sights being extravagant, and even then that's just personal opinion.
I think the mod is fine, are you guys doing that thing again where a mod's a mod based on personal preference that doesn't affect you, then you hate on it anyway because "wrong opinions"?
sights are bad
Bows made entirely of metal are ok.
Facepunch logic
I really love how this armor combination looks. Aesir's black/brown bear cloak, ebony armor and Dawnguard full helmet.

The brown hue the image has is due to the dungeon's atmospheric fog, it's actually not that brown at all outdoors :v:
Just happened to snap a few screenies while fetching the White Phial.
that bow has sights because dwarven magic
argue with that, now

Thank you
If you were a trophy you would be a very neat trophy :~)
What's wrong with metal bows?
I think he's talking about solid metal bows that would be impossible to pull back unless extra machinery were involved. Things like compound bows can get away with this though.
Plus, the thread doesn't like solid metal bows, The Jack, where did you get your info from?
it's all but impossible?
in the real world at least. nirn's metals and materials have interesting unique properties, like the ability to become as pliable as wood for the sake of loosing arrows

I'm not doing anything like that. If anything, I'm pointing out Bethesda's mistake.

Well fuck. My character has dropped by a good 30 or so thousand septims but I'm pretty sure the Aedra and Daedra both hate me. I've already told Molag Bal, Namira, Boethiah, Azura and Meridia to fuck off, I've completely destroyed the plans of Dibella and Arkay and have defiled the temple in Solitude with blood and guts.
Fuck everything that isn't Nirn, chaotic neutral.

So...you're on a chaotic rampage? I just helped Miridia actually. Wanted Dawnbreaker for it's cool model.

Well, after hunting down about 800 mages and 700 other humanoid beings, my character came to the conclusion that magic won't stop until the sources of it are extinguished. Therefore the current hitman list of my brave divine anarchist is, in this order, the following:
- Daedra
- Nine Divines
- Altmer
- Bretons
- Dunmer
- Imperials
- Argonians
- Bosmer
Orcs, Redguards, Nords and Khajit are still kind of hanging in-between of being spared and being subjected to this holocaust as Orcs aren't the best magic users, Redguards despise it along with most Nords and Khajit aren't that much into magic either, barring a few exceptions. Mostly Redguards and Orcs though. So yeah, she's planning to kill 90% of Nirn. Now, here the issues begin. Nords and Orcs worship Talos and Malacath respectively, which my character hates. So that's Orcs and Nords being on the very verge of extinction. Khajits have a slightly altered variation of the Divines but they don't seem to be overly keen on practicing magic. Redguards is obvious and Dwemer tried to be rational. Had they not disappeared, there could've been a chance my character might've actually spared them despite being avid magic users...though the more likely outcome would've been the present; no dwarf to be found.
