Hit reaction animations. That's one reason why Dark Messiah's combat feels leaps and bounds above Skyrim's. A slash that goes to the left pushes your enemy, to the left, with appropriate animation. It makes your hits feel like they are connecting. Also it doesn't help that some of Skyrim's killmoves have so many plainly visible clipping issues you'd think the dragonborn's power was to phase through parts of people as if they weren't really there.
To be honest, half the fun I have in skyrim is running around doing my own thing, making things up as I go along. I could give less of a shit about the whole "you are dragonborn" thing.

Roamed around as an Imperial a bit in the companions doing odd jobs, saw some stormcloaks shoot a bunny with crossbows (not cool), joined the legion, took over Skyrim, beheaded Ulfric, retired to a nice house in Solitude with a son who wanted to be a legionnaire. Gonna do my mage argonian next :v:

I really hate the main story.
Dark Brotherhood quest. Never forget.
God damn "Whodunit ?" I was so disappointed on how much the DB quest line in Skyrim sucked.
It's funny because Skyrim's DB was one of its better guild questlines
It's funny because Skyrim's DB was one if its better guild questlines
Not exactly a high bar when one guild wants you to be a werewolf because you worked for them for a day, and the Thieve's Guild has you kill more shit than Doomguy could stomach.
One day, I hope we'll see an Elder Scrolls game where the Dwemer make their return. I don't care if it's The Elder Scrolls VII or even X, I just hope we'll get it some day.
Hard to come back from zero-summing your race.
But didn't Dwemer supposedly reach chim? I remember someone on the thread saying that loads of pages back, saying it's the reason they disappeared.
;41794773']But didn't Dwemer supposedly reach chim? i wish someone would update the playable skeletons race mod i really wanna go around making "boned" jokes
i wish someone would update the playable skeletons race mod i really wanna go around making "boned" jokes
Give it flaming eyes, a red and gold shoulder shawl and a crown. I'll be happy to play Skeleton King in skyrim.
I might make this but if I do it'll play spooky scary skeletons on loop and you won't be able to turn it off That might make a good mod actually, you could have a shout/ability where you speak with such a screech your enemies shake and shudder in surprise.
I might make this but if I do it'll play spooky scary skeletons on loop and you won't be able to turn it off
Fuck yeah, I'm game. Also since my god-killer is heading towards Solstheim and is getting more and more frequently into scuffles with dragons, I'm thinking they're going to give a name to her. Right now I'm thinking one of the following, you guys rate which one you think sounds the best: Lahdinokbah - Magic Death Wrath (Optimistic) Kroenevaaroblaan - Sorcerer Extinguish End (Winner) Rahvothraanvahriin - God Disobedience Sworn (Heart) Vorahtuz - God-opposing blade (lit. Opposite to Gods Blade, zing) Joorkaaldein - Mortal Champion Guard (Agree) Ruthunslaadrun - Rage Eternal Bring (Dumb) If you can think of a better one, feel free to suggest that too!
So I installed deadly combat then went to Solitude, as you all know the first time you visit you get to see Roggvir's execution, it was going fine until the headsman swung his axe down on Roggvir's neck, everyone who was there staggered, even me. I couldn't stop laughing
;41795263']Kroenevaaroblaan - Sorcerer Extinguish End (Winner) Rahvothraanvahriin - God Disobedience Sworn (Heart)
Although the translations of these names make them sound awesome, they're also incredibly fucking long. Try to imagine one of the Dragons who make conversation with you actually speaking these names. I'd recommend using Paarthurnax or Durnehviir's voice personally, as they both look with respect to the Dragonborn so their voice isn't filled with hate or distrust.

Is there anything about them that you don't like?
Is there anything about them that you don't like?
Nothing at all.
Not even the horns? Or the lack of an upper portion to their skull beyond flames?

Then again, I'm Finnish and they seem like pretty normal length words to me :v: So many vowels make it easy to pronounce for me. 16 characters in Kroenevaaroblaan 11 characters in Paarthurnax 9 characters in Mirmulnir 6 characters in Alduin So yeah, I see your point. What about Lotfaasnah - Silenced Fear? It's 10 characters, cut down a lot. It's referring to silencing mages and all that.
Not even the horns? Or the lack of an upper portion to their skull beyond flames?
Why are these bad things?
Why are these bad things?
Are you sure you like it for being a fire-woman and not for having a distinct resemblance to an anthropomorphic deer?
Are you sure you like it for being a fire-woman and not for having a distinct resemblance to an anthropomorphic deer?
Are you implying that a Flame Atronach's/Thrall's horns are primarily an animalistic feature rather than a demonic one?
Are you sure you like it for being a fire-woman and not for having a distinct resemblance to an anthropomorphic deer?
Deer horns don't look like that at all, nor have I ever even considered that before.
"After I kill you, I will rape your corpse. Don't worry, I'll be gentle" -Anhaedra
Lovers Lab no doubt has this as a feature and that thought alone scares me
Are you sure you like it for being a fire-woman and not for having a distinct resemblance to an anthropomorphic deer?
Come to think of it, it's almost like somebody lit a desire demon from DA on fire. [editline]11th August 2013[/editline] I'm not entirely sure how Bethesda got that model from "fire demon from another plane".
