How do you get your rocks off on Atronachs without an imagination?
;41796553']Yeah, I did notice that. Then again, I'm Finnish and they seem like pretty normal length words to me :v:
So many vowels make it easy to pronounce for me.
Dragons tend to say things in smaller words that mean more things. It's also more about the vowels than the letters used - Dragon names are comprised of Words of Power, are they not? 3 vowels should be what you use. Al Du In, Mir Mul Nir, Paar Thur Nax. The only exception to my knowledge is Relonikiv from one of the Black Books, and his name doesn't even translate fully to English.
How do you get your rocks off on Atronachs without an imagination?
I can imagine that but not much else
I can imagine that but not much else.
Wasted potential.
Altimor. When you going to release Flame Atronach marriage mod? I completed the game and my character is very lonely at the moment.
Yeah and if you insist on enjoying Skyrim like an FPS then at least make that Tribes skiing mod so I can too. I could cap Uflric's beard off at like 500 sanics if I start at the top of High Hrothgar.
I wouldnt mind someone adding in actual pieces of wood for skiis and giving them tribes0esq movement with some limitations. (imagine skiing down a mountain while shooting arrows at peoples faces, then hitting a rock and exploding everywhere because you were too busy aiming instead of looking) Would be pretty damn interesting and would add to my eskimo/skaal character.
So, I decided I hadn't played it in a long, long time; so I installed Oblivion today on my new HDD for the first time in probably two years. Go figure, the instant I do, and click 'play' without a single mod, or even the expansions installed, I get an instant CTD before the Bethsoft logo even comes up... -.- Bethsoft, why does Gamebryo hurt so much... :(
...how much would you say it hurts you in comparison to, say, Todd's salty lies?
Depends, really. Which lie is he spreading this week, again?
Morrowind has only five major problems
1: your starting speed is too slow.
2: Npcs stay in the same place.
3: The combat should be better
4: the attribute modifiers at the end of each level are BS
5: dialogue isn't written like it should be spoken. Plus you end up having far too many options that tell you nothing.
And robes over armour looks pretty silly too. But i liked having skirts, belts, layers and i suppose i liked pauldrons too (they probably shouldn't have been seperate)
... and if they fixed these it might have been a near perfect game. well you can fix half of them with mods. It only realy feels lifeless because of those things.
I want to start a fresh play of Skyrim, Can someone give me a list of mods they would recommend?
I had trouble with morrowind for a lot of reasons, I don't recall the inventory being one of them.
Skyrim's default UI on the other hand, is atrocious and I can't play the game without SkyUI, although I would prefer a new UI altogether.
I firmly believe that Diablo 2's tetris inventory system is the pinnacle of inventory design and every game should adopt it.
And robes over armour looks pretty silly too. But i liked having skirts, belts, layers and i suppose i liked pauldrons too (they probably shouldn't have been seperate)
Imagine if left pauldrons defended against right-handed opponents and right pauldrons against left handed. Still, I liked the customization for morrowind. Skyrim's wasn't too good, though; if I wanted to be without pants, I wouldn't have a shirt either. If there weren't so little equipment slots, then modders could actually make individual pieces of armor like pants, under shirts and stuff like that, so you could choose if you wanted your armor from mods to be a million things stuffed on top of each other or not.

Give me a massive space version of it for skyrim and I'd be happy.
I love the sounds of picking up and placing items so much in Diablo 1/2

I love how when ever you "drop" something in the first two Diablo games, they go flying out of your character.
Imagine if left pauldrons defended against right-handed opponents and right pauldrons against left handed.
But both individualy don't protect much. Furthermore it's just more Effort for the player, due to inventory clogging and the pain of having to find odd items, to have them separate. It was rather uncommon for individuals to have different pauldrons in history. The main exception that i can think of would be gladiators and perhaps some medieval cavalry... but they're special for different reasons.
Maybe it'd be nice if there was a right click option to seperate them for crafting purposes or even vanity (it'd also be nice to do this for hoods or items of clothing that can be worn multiple ways) but otherwise it's probably better to bundle them together.
Hahaha, holy shit. How did anyone play Oblivion and have fun?
I'd be dead 1000x over in one dungeon if I didn't cheat. I'm on the first bloody quest! I have an army of dudes following me and they're being picked off like flies. I had to add 100 healing potions to my inventory and I used 45 of them on a battle with three imp things. My weapons keep breaking in the middle of battles, but how can that be? I'm tickling the enemies with feathers for the amount of damage they're taking. I know they're trying to be realistic with the broken weapon thing, but realistically these imps would go down after a couple of stabs or slashes, especially power attacks.
I don't think I was spoiled by Skyrim, I think they just got everything right after much trial and error.
Well, I guess the answer is Difficulty Bar - 0%

The solution is to run the fuck away if you're not killing anything.
The solution is to run the fuck away if you're not killing anything.
On the first quest? I expect this kind of difficulty like 75% of the way into the game.

Oblivion's difficulty bar just makes the enemies arrow sponges and that's an awful way to handle difficulty in a game honestly; though I will say, I never had trouble getting through the game on medium difficulty settings.
Honestly, because Oblivion's (and Morrowind's and Skyrim's for that matter) combat is so fucking atrocious, grinde-y, and boring, just set down the difficulty and play at what you can have fun at.
Don't fuck with the difficulty bar. What type of character are you? And what do you mean first quest?

I'm fighting these and they're making me their prison bitch:

The solution is not to go to Kvatch right after the prison. Unlike Skyrim you actually don't unlock a major feature of the game during the first few levels (Unless Oblivion gates don't spawn until you do Kvatch).

huh I never found Oblivion particularly difficult, then again I always played with the difficulty around medium
always hated how everything auto leveled with you though
