I never had a problem with the Immersive sets, personally. Always worked fine for me :v: I guess if you care about where the content and etc. came from it's a big deal, but I'd rather just nab it all in one big pile.
The packs have some quirks about them, but I can overlook them because the packs add a sort of variety.

He should do it while she[sp]still warm[/sp]
Immersive armors/weapons are literally quite shit compilations of other people's work. Weapons of the Third Era, one of the better (and first) weapons mods for skyrim but is missing.

Also, I remember people not liking Climates of Tamriel here for some reason. What was the reason again? Because it honestly looks pretty neat and just the type of thing I want for a new game I'm gonna start thats going to be light on the ENB (only use it for stuff like sunrays and better shadows).
For me, CoT is off with lighting. Certain things are seemingly done right, but I found the lighting was off, as in the sun not being bright enough for a clear day, seeing the sun on rainy days through the clouds as well as having sunlight casting shadows. Those alone are enough for me to not want to use the mod.
Everytime I launch skyrim and load my savegame, my view in first and third person is completely black, and any effects like text, or the slight green glow around the stamina bar don't go away. They stay stuck on the screen and flash.
Anyone know how to fix it? I tried going through all my mods to see if any of them were causing it, but apparently it's none of them.
Anyone?
Anyone?
Remove all mods and test. Or actually... try deleting your ini files, then let the game re-create them.

Also, anyone that tried the RC3 link I put up: Any notes for me to follow / change?
I launched my Flame Thrall's corpse out of the map while amazing grace played in the background and I recited the following
"We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. And yet it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of this nice loot we got in this cave, the sunrise of a new destruction spell to spam; loot that our beloved comrade gave her life to take and kill the Hagravens guarding it. She did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate her profound artificial wisdom at these proceedings. Of my Flame Thrall, I can only say this: of all the NPCs I have encountered in my travels, she was the most... human."
Since you needed the blood of a divine to open a portal to Camoran's paradice, and Tiber Septim's blood worked, doesn't that pretty much confirm he's divine? If it wasn't already.

Yep.
Having some issues with the end of the civil war questline, basically the only stormcloak supporters that moved to where they were supposed to go when they were exiled were the ones from Riften, and Thongvor silver-blood is still jarl of markarth, along with Skald still being jarl of dawnstar etc.

Maybe they misread the passage and it was actually OK to use anybody's blood
That'd be a knee slapper, oh how Martin would have laughed. "Sorry for sending you to that horrible dark ghost-filled fortress" he would say, "I guess it was totally unnecessary, but thanks for bringing this totally pimp armor back for me lol"
So it turns out my Skyrim folder is a whopping 29 GBs. Holy shit.
I just realize I save way too much when I looked at my skyrim save folder, it's 21.6 GB.
That's 3.6 times bigger than the game itself :suicide:
how can you save THAT much?
I just quicksave all the time. Do you create a new quicksave file every time you quicksave?
I got more than 370 hours played but only 300 mb of save data.
Speaking of quicksaving, check this out. You can control when your game saves with a huge list of save triggers or make it so your game automatically makes saves on a timer-basis (set the timer to every five minutes or whatever). You can even control whether you'd like it to make autosaves or incremental saves and how many saves to make before deleting the oldest. Really helpful for me--especially when I get the occasional random crash from a wonky mod.

20.3 gb. I bet a lot of that is that shitty high res pack that bethesda put out
[editline]25th August 2013[/editline]
Yeah, totals 4.36 gb for all that stuff.
1200~ hours played
26 gigs of save data between two main chars.
One character has 2160 saves
The other, 1110~
Still haven't done the civil war questline over 4 characters :/
Maybe they misread the passage and it was actually OK to use anybody's blood
That would make sense, the opposite of a Daedra is a Divine/Aedra; but the nine divines aren't the only ones. A fair few became the races of Tamriel, suggesting that anyone's blood would have been divine/Aedric.
Well the Daedric princes sort of don their physical appearance like a costume to cater to whomever's sensibilities they are trying to appeal to. Eg Malacath. Pelinal, Talos, Morihaus are also sometimes believed to be avatars of Lorkhan rather than mortals who achieved apotheosis.
And it bears emphasizing that the Mysterium Xarxes is full of acknowledged lore errors.
[editline]25th August 2013[/editline]
Er, wait not the Myserium Xarxes. Whichever are the ones you have to collect. The Commentaries.

You collect the commentaries, but the Xarxes is required for the portal to paradise.
I just realized how incredibly short this game's main quest is.
So I'm cleaning out my mod list in an attempt to fix a rather annoying FPS issue I've been having recently. Basically once in a while when turning fast or even just walking straight the game stops to load. So my biggest suspect was a mod titled "Enhanced Distant Terrain". But while I was at it I figure I'd delete all the crap I have in there with it. It's crazy how easy mods just stack up in this game.
Also, I am sad to find out that some myths and legends written in the books of skyrim don't actually happen or exist.
Don't know about anyone else, but I would love to come across the Woodcutter's Wife while roaming the woods at night. That shit would be creepy as all hell! Or even stumbling upon the Cabin in the Woods.

I just try to go through the game playing all styles with 1 character. Untill I add too many mods and my game inevitably dies on me. That or I don't play for 3 months, come back, start anew.

There's a main quest?

Yea I think it involves mudcrabs or something.

I do the same thing. All of my characters become masters of everything.
End-game destruction mage is hilariously OP, why do people complain about mages being weak
End-game destruction mage is hilariously OP, why do people complain about mages being weak
Youre using conjuration to summon flame atronachs.
Try being an end game destruction mage using only destruction. Sure, you will take out the smalls fries pretty easily but you will come into a room with 2 draugr deathlords and suddenly youre not so op.
The thing about magic is, you HAVE to do certain combinations (conjuration/destruction, conjuration/illusion) or you wont survive, completely killing the role playing of the game. You can't just go one pure form in the vanilla game or else you will be royally buttfucked.
The only school of magic that you can successfully specialize in by itself and not get buttfucked is conjuration, simply because you can summon both minions and weapons to fight with. Everything else will have trouble doing well at end game if you focused purely on that one school.

I went into a cave where my Flame Thralls couldn't navigate due to Beth shittiness, I just stunlocked the Draugr Deathlords and danced on their corpses

Sorry I am not familiar with what stunlocked means, do you mean using the bad ai to get them stuck?
Because that is hardly proof that a pure dsestruction mage can do well in the end game.
Also is this vanilla skyrim (as far as magic goes) or do you have things that change the perks/magic?
Because there are mods that balance the weakness of mages in the game and you might have one installed.
Either way, mages who do not have anything to draw aggro away from them die pretty easily especially late game when enemies can survive ice spike spam.

I have no non-cosmetic mods besides my player physics
Stun lock = repeated stun, the impact perk lets you stun anything (even dragons) with any dual casted higher level spell
