Now I'm stuck in a save-pickle. What mercenaries would I need to hire besides all of them to take down a troop of Stormcloaks, Thalmor, elemental mages, and their respective atronachs in one place?

Jenassa is one of the only followers that can dual wield. She's in the drunken huntsman
So before I waste hours trouble shooting everything, anyone see any incompatibilities here? Not load order, that'll come later, just conflicting mods.

Help would be much appreciated

Seems to check out. Not sure if weapons of the third era and immersive weapons work together. To be totally safe, just use BOSS. That'll do your load order, and some minor conflicts.

I've been trying to use BOSS, but only Fallout 3 and New Vegas show up when I run it
Nothing like being close to release making it easy for me to spend all day yesterday (when I wasn't killing time on the internet) modding instead of playing a game late into the night
I've discovered since all my scripts are attached to quests/magic effects I've added, simply disabling my mod appears to cause all the scripts to disable and everything going back to normal without me having to a complicated uninstall procedure that you'd normally have to do with a script mod. Woo! Of course the scripts are probably still somewhere in the save file though, sitting inactive, so it would be best for me to force the player to be naked as well (most of my mod relies on detecting what you equip) while also reversing some things my oninits do when you first start the mod just to be safe. Not to mention figure out how to refund all the perks spent back to the player.
Once thats is dealt with, just need to patch up some lingering quick bugs, make potions heal over time, and then I think it'll be ready for ya'll to test :3

First person is definitely a big improvement.
Would have considered picking it up if it had GW2's payment model (ie pay for it once) but it sounds like they are using a subscription system :/
Blue Flame Atronachs?
EVEN MORE HERETICAL
[editline]26th August 2013[/editline]
Altimor, how goes Skynet?
Doing all the boring framework crap for things like compression and encapsulating Winsock
Blue fire atronachs would be realy cool... but blue fire behaves differently. It's probably some kind of heathen spirit atronach or something stupid.
Kinda wish they'd make the armour look more realistic though. Not historicaly accurate or something.. but like... Brightly coloured parts, giant paldrons and gender changing properties always pissed me off. If you're going to make armour with breast curves and a miniskirt.. at least let the men wear it too.
Skinny Frost Atronach?
Any tips for first time Morrowinder?

Prepare yourself for the cliff racers
So I have a question, is there any reason to use 2H?

Because that's the weapon you like to see your character using.

I guess you don't know science, because blue flame atronachs would be SUPER HOT.

Be Redguard if you want to live.
...Outlander.

It's fun?
This isn't a multiplayer game, there's no reason to not use something fun even if it isn't ~~optimal~~
Because that's the weapon you like to see your character using.
Even though it has the worst animations which don't have any non-anime mods to fix them.
I guess you don't know science, because blue flame atronachs would be SUPER HOT.
They'd be super hot. But the flames would be more transparent and more controlled. They'd give away less light too.
Any tips for first time Morrowinder?
Alot of people complain about dying to rats and shit. I do not get it. My favorite build to do:
race: dark elf(I chose this because morrowind is the dark elf homeland. I do this with every edler scrolls game, eg. oblivion, my first char was imperial)
steed birth sign
specialization: combat
favorite attributes: speed, strength
main skills:
athletics
spear
(any armor type, I prefer medium because bonemold is cool)
restoration
sneak
longblade(or shortblade, your choice)
enchanting(i think)
minor skills:
armorer
(whatever type of blade you didn't pick)
can't think of the rest. they weren't important. With this class you take on the dark brotherhood assassin easily. You're pretty fast, which allows backpedaling and stabbing action, keeping most enemies within spear range, but not able to hit you

Is there any reason to use 1 hand?
The sweep attack perk is pretty epic, and the warhammer armor piercing perks can mash bandit chiefs and such into powder
Any tips for first time Morrowinder?
If you're an argonian player, make a custom class with speed as an attribute, and use the steed birthsign. Start the game with 85 speed and use a spear, everything else is optional.
[editline]26th August 2013[/editline]
Also imperial with the lady birthsign gets huge personality bonuses and can start the game with excellent mercantile skills.
Light armour is the best. Don't start with an all rounder character. Try get one offensive skill above 40 and stick with it.

Here's how hit chance is calculated:
1. Your agility (both for landing hits and avoiding hits)
2. Your weapon skill
3. Any bonuses (sanctuary increases your chances of dodging for example, applies to enemies as well. Attack (i.e. fortify attack) increases your chances of landing hits)
When making a character be sure to make it in a way to maximize your major skills you'll actually use
I.E. don't make an argonian under the theif sign but yet you plan on using him as a pure mage. It's a terrible combo that only works if you like making gimped characters for fun or roleplay but will otherwise be hell for a newbie. You'll fail to cast most of your spells like crazy when you first start out
However doing something like having a dark elf with a major skill in longswords and destruction with a sign that compliments one of those (i.e. atronoch or warrior) and you focusing attributes in Strength/Agility and/or willpower and etc will produce a low level character that is quite solid and able to handle various situations well. If you want you could go with some of the more fun birthsigns though, stuff like The Tower and The Shadow are really useful for all classes
90% of the early game problems players have with Morrowind is entirely due to character creation. It's not like skyrim where every single character always starts out exactly the same no matter the race or anything. Your race, class, birthsign and skills you choose as your majors/minors are all extremely important and should be synergized for best results. Beyond this, you generally don't have to worry about min-maxing too much. I never bothered trying to find the "secret formula" for getting +5 attribute bonuses every time I leveled up or always going for +5's when it was time to level up.

In my mod there is c:
2H does the most damage per hit by a mile with the downside of being slow and stamina-intensive for powerattacking, which you'll want to do since most of the perks involve powerattacks in some way. Perfect for taking out fatties, okay at taking out groups of small enemies if you play smart. 1H works the opposite, perfect for small manageable groups but not as efficient at taking out fatties.
(at least assuming the balance holds true in all situations :ohdear: but thats why I'll need testers soon)

1 hand doesn't immobilize you
On Legendary you can't tank until you get decent enchanting and/or smithing, so out-DPSing doesn't work
Also my preferred method of survival is just to not take damage
itt we play TES like Warcraft
itt we play TES like Warcraft
sssh, don't you know there's a right way to do everything?
[editline]27th August 2013[/editline]
Personally, I just play on novice and use whatever weaponry/armour makes sense for the character.
Something about those TESO pictures looks off.
Everyone seems rather stiff.
I can't play on anything but the highest difficulty
I tried once but when I moused over the difficulty option my fingers were magnetically repelled
I don't really see the point of playing on the highest difficulty. I'll end up doing is just maxing out with enchants and feels kinda pointless to play if you go into enchants anyways.

That's the opposite of what I did. If your major skills start high, that means you gain fewer skill increases, and have an appropriately lower maximum level cap. :v:
