Yeah I think I will.. Here we go. [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] Damn, I don't want to do light armor again but i also want to be more skilled as a thief. Dammit.
Fast travel to solitude, get the steed stone, specialize as a heavy armor thief. Steed stone makes your armor you are wearing weightless IE armor doesn't affect your sound detection.
Fast travel to solitude, get the steed stone, specialize as a heavy armor thief.
Hmm not heard of that, will have a nosy. Also, I wish Skyrim had more Cinematic style quests - similar to the start of the game I mean. When I first hot the game I thought it was going to be like this all the way through. [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] Also, went for female wood elf for a change.
I wish Skyrim had fun quests.
Playing Requiem, and find Krosis. Still haven't done any quests because most dungeons wreck my shit. Krosis firebombs me into next Sunday, so I reload the quicksave. This time, I run to the wall and stare into it as quickly as I can, grab the goods in the treasure chest, and run down the mountain to safety. Felt rather good being able to dash through places like that, gives a really good rogue feel to it. Especially after returning and watching Krosis look around trying to find me soon after.
I wish Skyrim had fun quests.
erm, have you not done the Wabbajack Quest?
Oh man, dragon priests in Requiem are brutal. I mostly cheesed my way through with runes. Or minion spamming. Say, have you gotten that hammer that gets stronger the more you are drunk?
No, but I need to now. I'm only level 3, just dicking around.
erm, have you not done the Wabbajack Quest?
That was not a quest it was an ADVENTUREEEE~ [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] In other words: no.
Lmao so I'm wondering why the hell all the low-level armor I'm wearing keeps registering as "heavy armor" under my mod even though its light armor and vice versa WELP turns out because the guy who made Brigandage armor pack (which replaces all the bandit armors and affects the low-level stuff like hide and etc and generally looks awesome) is a complete moron when it comes to keywording. None of his armor keywords the material type (important to get it to work in my mod, which all the default armors do), and every armor is just copy+pasted in the keyword field... so if you wear the "brigand steel plate" the keywords he put on that armor says its light armor even though its heavy lol. Which means it wouldn't even work properly with default perks Seriously people making weapon/armor mods: its not hard to properly keyword your armors/weapons, and its extremely important that you do - because just about any function in the game that relies on knowing what you are wearing (including default perks) needs those keywords to be accurate. [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] Also I'd link the mod in question (because it is an awesome armor pack) but nexus is once again down for the millionth time this month

Maybe it'll get me to pickup Skyrim again. Nothing like a mod that improves the depth of combat to go with deadly mutilation.
a lot of the daedra quests are fun like the wabbajack one and sanguine
Fallout 4's probably next on their list, and who knows how long that will take for them to revamp Creation to work with guns, bombs, and Liberty Prime take 2.
I'm pretty sure TES5 was built off of the upgraded (from Oblivion) Fallout engine. Either way, what is a gun but a hitscan bow that can hold multiple arrows? What is a bomb but an AoE destruction spell with physics? EDIT: Oblivion 1.0 FO3 0.94 FONV 1.34 Skyrim 1.7 I find it interesting that the FO3 engine is slightly older than Oblivion's.

I.E. leveling is too slow so I had to up that a bit, now swords aren't registering properly under the block skill so time to fix that too. Not to mention the seizure the player has while drawing the bow at low levels :v: had to turn it down to make it a little less rediculous. I'm also getting a really, really weird issue I can't for the life of me figure out - occasionally I'll take hits from an enemy but I'll take no damage. It's only been a recent thing to and it makes no sense why against certain enemies (which seems totally random) or certain weapons I simply take no damage for most of the fight until suddenly I start taking damage again. The only thing that could possibly cause this is the block mechanic where it always stops all damage when you block with a shield, but I've never had a shield equipped so I shouldn't even be getting that, and I get it even when I'm using something like a bow. o well Maybe its just script lag thats so bad that even beth's base level scripts of determining damage don't work :v: (though I was getting this problem even when I was testing my mod just by itself..)
Is there even gong to be another TES game, or did Bethesda just release the packed edition for quick money? Edit: I know that releasing the GotY (legendary) edition with all the DLCs mean that they are officially done with the game, but releasing such a pack for the entire series?
a lot of the daedra quests are fun like the wabbajack one and sanguine
Sanguine's quest taught me that all of your problems can be solved through intimidation. I can be quite mean when I'm sober.

Because it says on Bethesda's CK wiki that you shouldn't. http://www.creationkit.com/GetPlayer_-_Game

It's nice for them to officially release physical copies of the older games, along with maps of each region. I can't see it appealing much to people who aren't hardcore fans, and hardcore fans are likely to have most of the games in the anthology. Cool to have if you have a fair amount of disposable income, but other than that...

Daggerfall Khajiit were humans with tails [t]http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4rnb0fm9G1r9sgar.jpg[/t] That being said Beth has pretty must stuck exclusively to humanoid cats since post-90s TES so putting anything like that in skyrim seems unfitting.
They have fur patches on them. Furry humans with tails. No catgirl ears though
It was also the mid-nineties. and i'm late late late
So uh having a pretty big issue For some really, really strange reason, when I deactivate a mod and I get the whole "content is no longer present" dialog upon loading, the game decides to start loading anyways reguardless if I hit yes or no, and hitting yet pretty much causes a crash every single time wtf?
-god damnit-
Are you using Game.GetPlayer() a lot? Because it says on Bethesda's CK wiki that you shouldn't. http://www.creationkit.com/GetPlayer_-_Game
No I'm only casting PlayerRef as a property and having the CK assign "PlayerRef' to that property

Which could even have been before they went to Interplay for Legalbrawl XXXXI.
Damn, why am I deciding to start again now when I move on Monday and possibly leave behind my PS3.. Fuck it, yolo
I murdered this innocent guard for the hell of it. Just to see if I could. [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/4ecgk.jpg[/img_thumb] 10 seconds later I am swarmed by the largest fucking army of telepathic guards that tamriel has ever seen. These guys ran---no, charged out of mistveil keep like dremoras pouring out of an oblivion gate, knowing that one of their bretheren was slain about 100 feet away [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/4ecHq.jpg[/img_thumb] I was soon spotted, and the end result was the death of half of riften's population of fellow telepathics. [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/4ecMh.jpg[/img_thumb] ...Just another day in skyrim
One thing that always bothered me about TES is that all the guards literally wear the same armor with a slight recolor. I mean in oblivion this wasn't so bad because the variation in climate and geography wasn't so bad. But when you see a guard in Winterhold wearing a sleeveless piece of chainmail with some cloth covering it it starts to break immersion. Hell one of the things I really don't like about recent TES games is how they streamlined armor into basically "torso, helmet, boots, and 2 jewelry slots".

I miss mixing and matching gauntlets and pauldrons, and wearing clothes under armor pieces

The Next game should have a perk called bling that allows you to wear as many rings that'l fit and as many amulets as you want. You could balance it by adding penalties. Like wearing two amulets would bring the enchantments down to about 60% effectiveness in each if they're about the same strengh. Maybe the weaker should suffer more than the stronger since it'd be pretty weird if resist fire 100 along with resist fire 10 lead to resist fire 66 . It doesn't have to be called bling, but it's still a fun idea
