Hlaalu, Redoran or Telvanni was neat, and we are missing the Telvanni equivalent here.

Jeez, skywind's installer is really sketchy. Just seems to hang at "found components blah blah," can't tell if it's actually doing anything.

Sometimes Bethesda can make some decent quest, just look at the Thirsk one from Dragonborn, it's ramificated, you can choose who you want to actually help, no bullshit dungeons, no tons of draugrs. Wish they were more creative with the main ones, they have a lot of potential but they're a bit shallow. Also, high level destruction and Forgotten Magic spells are horribly overpowered, i just fried the Gauldur trio by just conflagrating them (the Gauldur amulet is a turd). Also, dragons die almost immediately, just a pinch of Blight Curse and a random double casted Conflagrate.

Good practice: Murder every Stormcloak camp in the game. And farmers who think "Ulfric has the right of it". They make good mudcrab fodder.

So, reinstalling skyrim after a really long time Could you recommend me some cool mods? I saw some interesting custom quests amongst all the lousy things in the workshop

The peace treaty 'subplot' from the main quest would've worked nicely for this actually. Alternately, fuck subtlety by siding with Lua al Skaven, raising your own army of Draugr and bulldozing Windhelm and Solitude in one blow.

So I found out that KorJax's shield issue isn't an issue with script lag, but because IsBlocking returns true while the shield is being lowered even though the player isn't slowed.

I don't think Bethesda [I]can[/I] make great quests. I haven't got skyrim's dlcs so i can't speak for them. But they're all rather lacking I mean the best quest is by far "whodunnit" from oblivion. But when you think about it: it's fun because it's so fucking stupid and broke. You could kill them all within seconds of eachother in completely different areas of the house and they'd always have some silly dialogue regarding the death, even if nobody should have seen it. There aren't any quests that a player would consider good for a reason other than being funny. There's no funny quests which aren't absurd or stupid.

They [I]can[/I] make good quests, because they [I]can[/I] hire people to make those quests.

Alright, so for the first time in maybe a week I start Skyrim up. Accidentally, I use the normal launcher instead of the SKSE launcher. It sets my graphical settings to Low, which is very strange because it always sets it to Ultra High. Not willing to sacrifice the graphics which I've always had (in addition to graphical mods made for Ultra High quality), I change the settings to their normal state and start the game. Fucking lag like you wouldn't believe. Anybody know what could be causing this? Did someone steal hardware from my computer?

The launcher resets them when you change graphics settings.

I do have ENBmod, and I downloaded a custom INI like a month back but my problem hasn't showed up till now. Is it just because I used the launcher? If so, why does my game lag now?
