I just can't play Morrowind Finding quest objectives is a pain in the ass
It helps a lot to have high athletics and speed. I always train that stuff up as fast as possible, or just try to start the game with high athletics/speed. Once you have that everything else is totally playable since you don't need to walk around at an agonising snail pace
Besides the speed, the only thing that really bothered me about Morrowind quests way back when was how they organized the quests. By this I mean this whole journal system they had where your character would put into their words what they were doing- good for immersion (compared to the brief ones we'd get later in quest stages). The hotlinking was cool to look back up important dialogue you may've missed and other such points, but otherwise it was really a pain to try and figure our what quest you would focus on once they inevitably piled up as you traveled around Vvardenfell. There was a way within the journal where you could call up a list of active quests but I really didn't find it useful, since you'd have to go through the whole process of bringing up that list again and going back to the specific quest and then stage you needed to reference once you closed the journal.
And now I'm going to try to make Daggerfall run natively on Windows for no reason
Final verdict on my ESO stress test? It's a very pretty game with alright combat. Easily the best looking MMO out there, closely rivalved by Guild Wars 2.
Oh wow really? that's kind of encouraging to hear, I wasn't all that impressed from that gameplay videos I saw
Final verdict on my ESO stress test? It's a very pretty game with alright combat. Easily the best looking MMO out there, closely rivalved by Guild Wars 2.
I only got to play for about 45 minutes out of the whole stress test because of scripting bugs and long load times. Argonians [sp]master race[/sp] are beautiful except for their tails being too fat.
And now I'm going to try to make Daggerfall run natively on Windows for no reason
But there's a .exe version that already exists that runs flawlessly.
But there's a .exe version that already exists that runs flawlessly.
I've seen nothing but dosbox setups.
I can't wait for the eventual fan remake of Morrowind on the TES 8 engine
I wanna play a mage character in Skyrim, kind of in the vein of a witch. Think Morrigan from DA:O in a way. Any idea what mods I should use for a magic-user? And what armor/clothing do you think fits that character type?
Skywind: Red Mountain is a volcano not a steep hill. Taller than 'Throat of the World' at that Based upon its representation in Dragonborn [t]http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/YE25pbavzMs/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
Wasn't the Throat of the World supposed to be the tallest mountain / object in Tamriel?
Have you tried the usual safe mode/driversweeper/reinstall driver?
Sadly none of those solutions worked.
I can't wait for the inevitable comparison pictures of ESO vs Original Game the stuff appeared in.
I'm going to march into Zenimax offices, pull my dick out and make everyone take turns getting slapped across the face by it until I get an ESO beta invite

Pretty sure she's only someone you'd encounter in one of the Orc strongholds. ...Was I raped in the night?
Wasn't the Throat of the World supposed to be the tallest mountain / object in Tamriel?
Yup.
I honestly like it that way. I like following road directions in the journal more than just following the quest arrow. Except for the few times the directions given to you are actually wrong. That's just annoying. [editline]6th September 2013[/editline] Also, of all the places they could've dumped you in the beginning of ESO, they dump you in god damned Skyrim. I just want to see Sentinel, dammit.
You can deactivate the markers. And I'm not a hugr fan of Morrowind's journal.
Morrowind argonians + heavy armor = fucking badass
looks like a fucking dog
XL Engine is in the works, with tons of extra bells and whistles to boot [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] Skywind: Red Mountain is a volcano not a steep hill [t]http://morroblivion.com/files/happychappy/images/ScreenShot334.jpg[/t] [editline]7th September 2013[/editline] Taller than 'Throat of the World' at that Based upon its representation in Dragonborn [t]http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/YE25pbavzMs/maxresdefault.jpg[/t]
Is Skywind actually done or is it a very early version?
You can deactivate the markers. And I'm not a hugr fan of Morrowind's journal.
You can deactivate the markers in Skyrim but then you have no idea of where your objective is or how to get there.
Is Skywind actually done or is it a very early version?
it's not done
Wasn't the Throat of the World supposed to be the tallest mountain / object in Tamriel?
"The Throat of the World is the highest peak in the province of Skyrim. Though once considered second to Red Mountain, it is now known as the highest mountain in all of Tamriel."
I'm getting a monkey pet in ESO.
I'm getting a monkey pet in ESO.
A monkey pet?
