I'm getting a monkey pet in ESO.
Yeah for beta testing last night.
Yeah for beta testing last night.
Thats pretty cool. Are there Monkey's in Elder Scrolls Lore before? I don't think I've ever heard of any.
clairvoyance?
the "better quest objectives" mod would be better than that, surely? clairvoyance is pretty much just a quest marker you need magicka for.
the "better quest objectives" mod would be better than that, surely? clairvoyance is pretty much just a quest marker you need magicka for.
I was more talking about his statement "no idea of where your objective is or how to get there", which is remedied by the use of clairvoyance.
Are there any good animation mods that aren't overly anime?
I remember reading something about monkey-like humanoids that serve the elves once.
Isn't there a monkey race rumored to be on akavir.
The Inga of Valenwood; talking gorillas that try to act like Altmer. Apart from that, there are two primate species in the form of men and mer, and quite closely related due to the whole fertile results of crossbreeding and all that.
You know what I dislike about most Skyrim mods? EVERYTHING being in Riverwood, Whiterun or Breezehome. Seriously, fucking everything is standing in a barrel, or in a table or something.
it's the skyrim equivalent of the legion of oblivion modders who are just like 'in a chest in the imperial city market district'
it's the skyrim equivalent of the legion of oblivion modders who are just like 'you will find it in a chest in the imperial city market district'
And Morrowind's "It's in Balmora."
If I ever make an item I'll design an elaborate quest where you have to find 10 or so Daedric artifacts, two of which include a shrinking & enlarging ray. First you must use the enlarging ray on your dick and go use it to cockslap the shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. He will become enraged and come to Tamriel, causing the second oblivion crisis. After traveling to Cyrodiil and replaying Oblivion on the new engine, you must use the shrink ray on yourself and use the daedric artifacts you found earlier to levitate up to and into his ear. You must battle massive amounts of daedric internal parasites, journeying your way down to his large intestine where you finally find your cool overpowered sword. And then you get shit out with such force you fly back to Skyrim.
Is it me or is the Dark Brotherhood [sp]a fucking joke[/sp] in Skyrim? I heard a lot of good things about them in Oblivion, so I was kinda pumped to see them in Skyrim. Only for everyone in the group [sp]to die because yet another leader of a group betrays you[/sp] (I'm looking at you Thieves Guild.)

I kind of liked the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves guild questlines in Skyrim, but they don't even compare to the ones in Oblivion, really. Never finished the mages guild in either one, no interest in magic really.
Dual wielding swords warrior, level 4, expert difficulty, beating the first dragon at the watch tower. It's just a role of the dice at this level, most times the dragon does a critical attack (sometimes when it has only 20% HP left) and immediately one shots me, even when I stand at the side. Other times I manage to avoid the bite by a random number generator (?) and I can kill it without too much trouble. Tried this around 20 times today; most combat in Skyrim is pretty much button smashing and a little bit of strategy. Playing a dual wield warrior at lower levels is the first time I noticed a random difficulty pattern. Or I'm just bad at dual wielding...
I actually really like the characters and general story of the Thieves Guild in Skyrim. I just know that all the actual missions and quests are better in Oblivion.
I remember reading something about monkey-like humanoids that serve the elves once.
There's Imga, which worship the high elves and are ape-like, and there's tang-mo, who are more monkey-like. There was also supposed to be a khajit-like creature but more like a fox than a cat, but they went extinct or something
Like the silver-skinned asianesque humans of Black Marsh... (WTF were some humans living there anyway?)

I've almost got Daggerfall converted to Windows PE (I hope), the final barrier is the LE exe fixups. So I got bored of all the DOS/Windows crap and decided to actually play the game I spent 30 seconds or so trying to figure out how to swing my sword at a rat then I gave up and just shot it w/ a bow Then I opened a door, an imp or something came out and one shotted me
I just can't play Morrowind Finding quest objectives is a pain in the ass
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Quests
Well now I've figured out how to swing my sword (it's a pain in the ass with how quickly I have to move my mouse), but it's not hitting anything.
