Morrowind is more chance then the other games Altimor, its dice rolls, its practically a real time D&D. Making contact with someone does not a guarantee you hit them. There are mods that change that but make the game unbalanced.

He's playing Daggerfall.
Which is the best unarmed mod out there? I want to punch dragon gods to death on legendary, and I don't want it to take 45 hours.

Morrowind does not require mouse movement to swing your sword, I was playing Daggerfall.
Speaking of Morrowind, I found that if you get wedged in a roof (literally in it, where you can see through the geometry) and turn on a jump macro you can get Acrobatics 100 in half a Star Trek. I did it with the underside of a bridge.

See, fuck you Gooooooooooogle
But pretty much all TES games previous to Oblivion relied mostly on chance when it comes to combat.
Morrowind makes up for its RNG with its incredible physics
No rooftop is inaccessible
Sometimes I just phase through the ground when bunnyhopping
EDIT: ahahah there's a spot in vivec where you can just jump inside building geometry, no glitching required

There are many areas in the game where you can just get stuck.
I'm not talking like 4 or 5 areas, I mean you can get stuck almost anywhere.
Imagine the poor suckers who bought Morrowind on the original Xbox

I was 11 when it released on Xbox so I was no poor sucker because Morrowind is just pure awesome and was totally unique at that time.
Why do the makers of some of the best mods have to always be absolute dicks? Just tipping on a bug I received (others had done the same as well) and he just shits in my face and blames my game even though several other people are reporting the same bug. Just the way he responds to peoples comments (even positive ones or simple questions) makes him look like a complete asshole.
That's TES modding community for you.
The last helpful modder was probably Lord_Devil/Quatloos, and she died of cancer. Literally. Years ago.

I would be a helpful modder
but I got banned from the mod site with a monopoly because I pointed out a flaw in the staff
i have an alt but i'm not publishing anything on it
I'd be a helpful modder
now me being a GOOD modder is a different subject entirely

There are shit modders and shit players, personally I try to avoid lashing out but when someone tells me for the tenth time that my mod doesn't work and then describe a problem that's written twice in the mod description what's causing it or that's not compatible with a certain other mod you just start to feel like punching kittens
I finally did it, after many deaths, reconfiguring options and controls, I finally get out of the starting dungeon in Daggerfall. Then the game wouldn't let me strafe and jump because apparently DF doesn't like when the cycles count is set to max in DOSBox then I got killed a lot from an archer who was spazzing out because apparently DF doesn't like when the cycles count is set to max in DOSBox
Thank you based Bethesda for having Fast Travel

What the fuck quatloos/lord_devil died of cancer?
Where the hell have I been
Oh god help
I glitched inside world geometry but if I leave I'll get killed by guards or 3 cliff racers and I have no magicka

Only solution I can think of is the Amulet of Slowfalling.

I've come to accept it.
This is the site that will rain fire upon you if you make a modesty mod.
Is there any way to kill Vivec & get the Wraithguard without doing the main quest in Morrowind
Is there any way to kill Vivec & get the Wraithguard without doing the main quest in Morrowind
Kill Vivec, go to Yagrum, he'll ask you about the artifact and if you have a high enough reputation you can ask him to repair it for you. Though you'll need a fair bit of health to survive the ordeal.
Then you could just fuck off with it, or resume the main quest form there.

The community's just poison tbh - if you're not an arsehole to begin with you'll probably become one after the 500th time someone whines to you about your mod breaking their game when it's obviously a fault on their part - and since the site moderators are ridiculously biased towards modders and ridiculously biased against anyone with any criticism no matter how valid you're basically without any restrictions on how much of a dick you can be

The temple is locked though.
It's a similar situation as the one with TVTropes - they're so obsessed with the fallacious goal of keeping everyone in a nice big happy family with no disagreements that they a) let some right shitlords in that in any organic social group would be cast out, and b) they suppress any criticism because it would 'disturb the peace. It's retarded. The nexus mod team should honestly read this and take it to heart.
oop automerge
There's so much in Daggerfall, I can't even find a town twice on the map.
God damn DOS with its real mode instructions and its segment registers

I remember being crushed when I read about it on planetelderscrolls. Now there's barely a whisper on the internet about it.
I remember her posting a review of some crappy little house I made, like, 2 months before the article popped up. Effort was put into that review. It was like 3 paragraphs long.
Shit, now we're lucky to have modders that'll write more than a paragraph of README text.

Unlock it
Find a scroll of ekash's lock breaker (can find them in smuggler dungeons sometimes), use security if you're a good lockpicker and have a good lockpick, or just cast an alteration open lock spell on it.

Vivec will shitkick you if you're at a low level though

I will use my amazing [del]skills[/del] jump macro to dodge his projectiles
Unless I run out of magicka, then I'm screwed
