Probably gets asked every other page but what are a few good ways to get back more FPS on Morrowind?
The FPS optimizer can handle draw distance for ya.
Be warned, if on shittiest conditions, you will have a bad case of cantseeshititis.
boots of blinding speed, 100% resist magic, walk everywhere at running speeds.
Apparently there's also a bug that causes the blind effect to increase hit chance. I'll probably just use 60% resist magic.
Get a golden saint soul and enchant something with a restore fatigue constant effect
If you want to buy enchantments, just come with like 20,000 gold, make a quick transaction with the enchanter to make sure their inventory is active, make the enchantment, then just sell them some really expensive daedric shit to get your money back.

Running into random NPCs there seems fairly common.
Vignar confirmed as Dovahkiin 2: Dragonlectric Bornaloo
[editline]16th September 2013[/editline]
Or Dovahkiin 2: The Squeakual I don't know
There is a mod that does exactly that called death is overrated I think
I didn't like it though
Dark Souls' death system in skyrim is more annoying than anything.
I ended up going with autosave manager and it autosaves auotmatically upon certain events happening so I just rely on those saves (instead of quick saves) when I'm playing
Is your overhaul on nexus yet, or have I missed a release? I'm getting so bored of Skyrim, but where the fuck do you turn?

It's all in this post.

I'm using this currently, but on the lowest draw distance it looks like a dust storm on Mars. Also, for some reason my FPS drops when I'm looking at far away objects, and those rugs that everyone has attached to walls.

Not on nexus yet, hoping to get some kinks ironed out before I release it broad. Made some tweaks to the screen effects to hopefully not be as insane (especially for magic), disabled fumbling till I can think of something better, bug fixes, and planning on making it so if you get hit as an archer with melee you release your bow (same applies to enemies). Once thats done I'll post an update here and then work on the tutorial before I put it on nexus.
Is there any way to stop stamina from draining when running in vanilla Morrowind
Restore Fatigue potions.

2 points for 100000 minutes.
I'd like to see characters get stronger in tes. Not "oh your strengh has increased so now you carry more and do more damage" but rather "oh your strengh has increased so now you're swinging a claymore with crazyfast speed and jumping onto single story buildings.

I thought you liked realism?
Screw that, I want increasing my combat skills to not make me swing my sword like an idiot.
With Bethesda's animations? Good luck with that.

Is carrying more stuff not indicative of increased strength?
[editline]16th September 2013[/editline]
I mean, just as much as swinging a claymore faster would be.
I thought you liked realism?
If you're stronger, you can swing heavier stuff faster. Very realistic.
The game allows you to shoot lightning from your fingertips, turn invisible and increase your speed through magic. It would therefore be reasonable to allow the player to operate at maybe twice or thrice the muscle strength a real human has.
Think of it as Realism+magicka.
You could have interesting fights this way. The weak master versus the powerful apprentice

I would like subtle changes to your character like Fable did it: higher magic skills makes your veins glow very slightly blue, being better with melee stuff makes your character slightly taller and more muscled, being good with archery and stuff uh... does something.

It'd probably make them more wiry, give them a "muscular but skinny" look. Maybe make their eyes look sharper, though I have no idea how to emulate that.

That's pretty much what Oblivion was about. At max speed, agility, acrobatics and athletics your character would jump pretty much three times his height, have superspeed and even be able to jump on water's surface.
If you guys want to add aging and character evolution in your game there's a bunch of mods like Pumping Iron that adds muscular mass to your character when doing physical stuff like beating people to death with a mace or wearing heavy armor. It adds up to a meter and every time you go to sleep that meter is brought back to zero and all saved up effort from that meter is turned into body mass, works great to make wimp characters turn into musclebeasts by the time they reach level 100 in every skill. There's also some mod somewhere that ages your character's face as he gains levels but I never used it.
That combined with Attributes of the Third Era allows for some pretty godly characters, since this one mod adds back attributes which allow you to sprint superfast and jump superhigh again.
Not realy. You just lost some of your gravity and ran rather than jogged. your weapons didn't become faster or have more push behind them and there's no sprint to take advantage of speed so much.

And if you had a high enough level in blades and blunt you could knockback someone, disarm them or straight up run them to the ground with a well placed hit. Shame hitting didn't go any faster, yeah.
Skyrim had that too with that perk that lets you bash people when sprinting but since you go superslow even while sprinting it didn't really feel like it had much of an impact.
So it finally happened, my Skyrim gave way under the giant living mass that was my mod folder.
Crashes repeatedly now, but this is the same Skyrim I have been using since I got the game, so it lasted an amazingly long time, especially when I had no idea what I was doing when I first installed mods.
Now for a fresh, clean start with proper organization of my mods.
Okay um what the hell is this?

Apparently some guys cracked the whole game and are setting up a private server... You can't play yet but you can create a character
Holy hell that was fast.

Yep video is removed...

it would cost you like at most 50 bucks to upgrade to a point where your computer can own morrowind

They can communicate yes/no with flips and twirls
Shit someone make a mod that makes Flame Atronachs speak in flip/twirl binary

Flame Atronachs can speak. One asked you a riddle in Morrowind.
