Is there any mods that tweaks Oblivion's lighting to be less intensive.
I don't like having fullbright nights.

Do you mean a wooden stave or a wooden beating stick?
I have mine modded to have pole weapons and god damn I love that fucking wooden stick. It is really fucking weak, but holy hell it is hilarious to sneak up behind someone and do a power sneak attack with it. Youre litterally just pulling a huge stick back over your head and smacking someone in the back of the head with it and it is the most satisfying thing to do.
Apparently Tamriel Rebuilt updated their latest release and expanded the map a bit farther south if anyone's interested.
So I downloaded Inigo and went to the Riften Jail to go get him, before heading out I stop and talk to Sibbi who mentions his 8 month sentence but after 8 months he still doesn't get out, someone should make a mod to correct that.

Or just use your imagination to make some in-lore explanation.
"oh hes a khajit in Riften, which is basically Windhelm's bitch, don't you think they would add charges on to a sassy khajit?"
I don't think you can expect savage nords to give a fuck about injustice.

Sibbi is a Nord actually. I like to think he committed the same crime immediately after he got out.
Update for my mod (here's info about it if you don't know what it is: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1266740&p=42016789&highlight=#post42016789 ):

UPDATE NOTES:
UNINSTALLING OF PREVIOUS VERSIONS SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED FOR THIS UPDATE, HOWEVER YOU MUST MAKE SURE TO UNINEQUIP AND RE-EQUIP ALL ITEMS ON YOUR CHARACTER AFTER YOU UPDATE
- Disabled stagger-screen effects that happen with 2H weapons and archery when playing in 3rd person or horseback, since it would tend to cause bad things to happen on horses.
- Reduced the intensity of the low-stamina effects to be slightly more subtle now and less in-your-face.
- Fixed the major skill system to check for having greater-than 4.5 major skill perks instead of just greater-than-or-equal-to 4.5 major skill perks - AKA you won't get locked out of a tree when you shouldn't.
- Magic that hits you now uses a less intense and crazy hit-effect.
- Disabled the fumble mechanic for one-handed, until I think of something better. Might just keep it this way for good, think of it as an advantage over using the power-house that is 2H.
- Added "attack control" that 2H weapons have to 1H weapons in the absence of fumbles. At lower skill levels in 1H your screen will shake and stagger more on weapon swings than having a high skill, but not to as high of a degree that it does for 2H. I really like this effect, it's a subtle way to get it so weapon swings feel more weighty.
- Considering the above two points, the following perks were changed: Lighter Hold for 1H now makes powerattacks with war axes use less stamina (25% less), and Positioning Blows now makes you have perfect attack control and increased attack speed when not running while attacking with a mace.
- Attempted to address some bugs involving weapons suddenly going really slow or really fast, but may or may not have solved them. See below for bugs if you have this issue.
BUGS:
- Occasionally, especially if you are using non-vanilla Skyrim weapons, I've noticed that against all logic upon adopting certain perks that involve weapon speed I'll begin using certain weapon types either extremely slowly or extremely fast. This bug is hard to track down since I've only had it happen once and I've not been able to reproduce it sense.
If this happens to you, the following worked to fix it for me - simply uninstall the mod (your perk points spent on PSA trees will be refunded) and then reinstall it again using the below uninstallation instructions and your attack speed should be normalized again.
HOW TO UNINSTALL PSA - DON'T WORRY YOUR PERK POINTS YOU SPENT WILL BE SAFE
- type [help "77cpo_uninstallquest" 4] into console
- take note of the quest ID provided
- type [setstage (QUEST ID) 10] to begin uninstalling CPO, let it do its thing
- once done, save
- disable PSA from data files
- re-load that save, and save again. Congrats, PSA is now uninstalled completely.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm likely going to release broadly after this on the nexus and such bar any major bugs or concerns and after I put in a tutorial system when you first boot up the mod (skippable, of course). So please let me know of any concerns!
With MGE in-game enabled I have comfortable FoV but can't use Steam overlay
With MGE in-game disabled I have soul crushingly low FoV but can use Steam overlay
Is there any way to change Morrowind's FoV w/o MGE?
EDIT: Besides something I have to run while the game's open

nvm doesnt matter i beat the game screw this im tired of RNG battling cliff racers
RNG battling is hard for you because you made a terrible character build.

its not hard if i walk and keep stamina
but i dont want to fucking walk i want to bunnyhop
Beyond 50 wepaon skill I rarely miss anything, save for the occasional high agility enemy dagger-stabby person
Blighted animals are cunts though. Those blighted rats can hit you like a sledgehammer and blight animals always seem to dodge easily.

What is this mickeymouse "bunnyhopping" crap. Only imperial plebs bunnyhop, you're not wizarding correctly

When I went through my final run through Red Mountain for Sunder/Keening/killing Dagoth Ur I was levitating across the map at extreme speed
Is there even a way to kill someone in their sleep quitetly? From what I understand to do a backstab or throat slit, you sneak behind someone undetected and let 'er rip. But that hardly works and good luck if that person is sleeping.

Which game?
Which game?
Oh right. Skyrim (the only thing I really ask questions on as a pleb with this being my only TES game). I went to kill that kind old woman in the orphanage but my dagger only raised and slashed. She screamed loudly and twisted around violently. The kids came running into the room and the assistant kept screaming, "I submit!" How do I explain to the kids that this lady was more evil than Mehrunes Dagon himself back in the third era? Better yet, how could I have just slowly inserted the dagger into her heart with minimal sounds?

Use paralysis (enchant/poison/spell)

Unfortunately, the granny at the orphanage is as strong as a broken glass bottle put back together with no glue. And the kids are scripted to run to the scene anyway, so don't worry about that.
The old woman in the orphanage is just a scripted event. You don't need to have any assassin abilities to complete it
I literally just run in, spinning 360 suplex her to death in broad daylight and run out again.
Oh man, created a vigilant of strendarr character, with the obvious exception that he isn't a bitch.
Basically he is the biggest pile of bullshit I have ever created and it is hilarious.
Simply put, I activate stoneflesh to take almost no damage, which is a terrible thing by itself, but I add to it by throwing a flame cloak on top of it. So basically I am moving in robes that give me extremely high magicka regen and quick movement, with the armor of someone wearing a full set of orcish but none of the penalties, with a giant aoe effect that burns everyone constantly around me.
To top it off, I then pull out frost to both damage and slow the enemies so they can't escape my vortex of fire.
Then the icing on the cake, the toughest sons of bitches who actually make it to me to put almost no damage down on me finally have to deal with my steel mace, which always sends them head over heels flying with one good thwack to the head.
Like this shit isn't even fair man, but god damn if it isnt fun to send someone flying into a wall from a good mace hit.

Oddly enough the console version of Oblivion is WAY darker than the PC counterpart. It's way more immersive considering most dungeons are pitch black for lack of proper lights around, but it's also really annoying when you're using two handed weapons.

Welp, so I tweaked the armor values without going down to radical changes, and can't say it didn't turn decent. Shame the file where this mod is is so full of small tweaks it cannot be made public.
EDIT: Weapon tiering tweaked as well:

I feel so proud. I created my first mod on the Creation Kit. I changed the conversation with Ysolda to include a different question if your race is a Khajiit.
I know it's piss easy to many, but after ages of fucking around with the CK and having it crash on me several times and generally be a piss-ant, having this simple thing work is like a major victory to me.
My first CK mod was a tiny little cabin in the woods with a chest and a bed.
I found a Modder Resource at the time that was an updated mesh of the Moon And Star ring from Morrowind and I wanted to make a custom quest to find it but I was too lazy to actually do the whole thing :v:
I did this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=126772307
I'd like to learn how to build, or rather how to copypaste environments and all that. I want to make an inn, like those that are everywhere and use the same layout, but dunno how to start.
Someone should make a "Carrot Ring" which would be "good for your eyes, and increase player vision" but only actually sharpen the in game textures and draw distance.

That's how you do the quest.
I still can't start the dark brotherhood quest anyway because I never get visited by the courier after I did the starter quest and if I tp myself in the right room and advance the quest via console the chick in the room just says "brother" a lot and nothing else happens.
