A TES MMO is a good idea imo, just not a TES themepark MMO.
I can't seem to activate Hearthfire, how do I do this?

Go to data files on the launcher and activate Hearthfire.esm.

I mean in game.
An Elder Scrolls game with two (4 at absolute maximum) player coop where you can join different factions and fight with or against each other would have been way cooler then ESO imo. Alternatively, you could each do your own thing and hear about the deeds of the the other person.

Why max 4? I want a bunch of players so there can be player guilds.

That would make it an MMO, wouldn't it?
So I'm using this ENB: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/822/?
but I'm having a bit of an issue. Whenever I'm roaming outside, the shadows like to flicker from bright to dark and it's rather annoying. This seems to only happen in outside, not towns and interiors like dungeons and caves. Any idea how to fix it?
Yeah but if you are american then you would say wouldn've
this reminds me of one of garry's old statements on twitter
about how us americans pronounce dentist as "dennist"

The problem is the MMO market is so risk-averse that anything other than a themepark MMO is shot down before it even gets off the drawing board, and the ones that get released are just so boring and similar to every other MMO out there that they go F2P and die in a short timespan. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't tbh and it's a shame that I've learned to equate the acronym 'MMO', something which encapsulates games with massive open worlds full of millions of players, with boring terrible games that I'll never want to play.
Plus, to me at least, mods are a huge part of the TES experience and to play without them would be like playing half the game, even if it didn't need to be fixed to an extent like the main games.

They need to make an ES game with robust drop in/drop out coop with easy mod support, that'd be amazing. It'll never happen though, BGS know not the meaning of 'robust' and if they added coop you know that mod support would be the first thing to go. Shame.
God fucking damnit, I've just had my first mod related CTD
I uninstalled a fire arrow mod and Bordersense (by accident), and now my game refuses to load. I've reinstalled BorderSense, but its still crashing.
Anyone now a fix?

I played through Oblivion and Skyrim and now want to play Morrowind. I have installed the MGSO 3.0.
What kind of char should i make? Because its entirely different from Skyrim and Oblivion.
I would like to play as an Argonian or khasjiit. Also i heard the spears are pretty good as well as medium armor. What should i do as noob in Morrowind?

go mage, it sucks wasting magicka on cliff racers at first but then you get to sell your extra loot for shitloads of magicka potions/alchemical ingredients and abuse spellmaking
Also I would recommend you immediately train Acrobatics to 100 and make a rapid jump macro because this lets you phase through geometry creases easily. That way you can fire projectiles through geometry backfaces and go around locked doors.
Next to Vivec there's a castle, go to where one of its bridges (forgot which) meets the terrain at a narrow angle. Wedge yourself into the underside of the bridge to where you can see through it and turn on a jump macro. Enjoy 100 acrobatics in 30 minutes.
Combat will absolutely suck for the first few days to a week depending on how often you play the game.
Deal with it.
Just stay away from anything larger than a rat.
I disagree, combat will be fine from the start if you build your character right and manage your fatigue. You should be able to clear the dungeon right outside of Seyda Neen without much effort.

The consequences of the fact that MMOs require an absurd amount of capital to be shunted through really harshens the vibes of the possibilities we project on MMOs

I wish real clouds didn't look horrible when used together with CoT.
Some parts of it look good, but I hate going around and seeing stuff like pink water and red skies.

Youve never seen a sky turn red during a sunset?

I have, but something about CoT feels extremely unnatural, as if the sky was just tinted and the sun is just a sprite moving over it. I guess there are little ways to prevent that in a game engine where that is the case.
Also, is it just me, or does CoT remove a lot of fog. I know fog is annoying, but in a game where the LOD is shit, it just enhances the ugly textures.
I think COT tries for a more natural look with consistent colour rather than the overcontrasted, weird looking shit that vanilla skyrim has - the problem is that because skyrim has shit lighting they have to try and accomplish it through imagespaces and shit, which can look great at some points but awful in other situations. To me, CoT looks very pink and washed out compared to the vanilla game, this is good in certain situations but in others it just takes away from the atmosphere.
I actually had to stop using Real Clouds because I hated the way it looked. It was just constant mega-thick clouds at ground level all over the place. I barely even saw the sunlight when I had that mod active because entire goddamn towns were just engulfed in clouds and I couldn't see a thing.
That's odd, I get plenty of clear weather with it. Only when its rather foggy or rainy is there a ton of cloud cover for me.
Sometimes it looks off but most of the time it doesn't for me and when it doesn't it looks goddamn brilliant
I do wish he'd hurry up and finish version 1.5, which is supposed to fix a lot of the small issues with it and light lightning storms. It's been a WIP for months now with no progress being made on it seemingly
Anyone know what versions of Morrowind are version 1.0? And where I can find them?
