I love how you appear in the thread only to obliviously post what basically amount to ads for ESO like some sort of bot, never stick around to see the backlash, and then conceitedly hand out dumbs when you actually notice. For months, now.
but they're just buff items.
Ones that leave you permanently blind.

?
Are you using a fog mod?
I like how everything looks but your trees
Well the thing about the trees, they look overly sharp in snowy environments because the dynamic snow is being displayed on the individual pine needles. So for example if you walked up to any of those trees and looked at it, you would see very small flakes built up on the pine needles.
It is part of a feature of the dynamic snow mod, so there isn't much I can do about it, though I did hate how it looked at first too. Now I just say "holy shit my trees actually react to the weather now, kick ass".
I was thinking of maybe looking on the nexus and seeing if the modder who made it is active, if he is I might try asking him to make the dynamic snow build up on the trees be more connected, because the issue is that it is clinging to individual pine needles but not actually combining like in real life, so it keeps that weird "noise" effect from far away.
Also for the person who asked what rig this is aimed for, the auto detect settings put me on very high, but I am running this on ultra without much issues. If you can run the game on high, these mods wont impact performance too much.
edit- Like I did 4 hour binge yesterday, I did not have one CTD, and biggest fps impact I had was when 8 enemies swarmed me using a lot of magic effects and even then it dropped to like 15 fps at its slowest and lasted for about 2 seconds. (I felt it was a combination of these enemies, their magic and the fact I had turned to look at a huge open plain while loading a new cell is what caused this issue.)
So if you can run vanilla skyrim on high with almost zero issues, this will work pretty damn decently for you.
edit edit edit edit- Actually it might be an hd texture replacer I am using for the trees and not dynamic snow. Which would be really fucking cool because I could just get another tree texture enhancing mod without losing the sexy dynamic snow.
edit- Also on the question of a fog mod, I am using a mod that ups the qaulity of fog, but most of the fog effects youre seeing are a result of real clouds. It adds volumetric fog which just really compliments real clouds well.
So I've kind of been on a personal mission to make my Skyrim look as nice as possible without the use of enb or anything that impacts the performance too hard. Basically I wanted something that was as close to enb quality (the ones that are done right) as possible while keeping the almost ctd free, stutter free vanilla. So I have gotten to the point where I am almost satisfied, and I am getting a steady 30-40 fps, so here is a metric shitton of skyrim pretty images, thumbed down for your convenience if you dont want to see them.
nice, what mods are you using?
Does anyone know the name of that mod that burns/freezes/electrocutes corpses when humans are killed by elemental spells?
Does anyone know the name of that mod that burns/freezes/electrocutes corpses when humans are killed by elemental spells?
Deadly mutilation.
I dunno, the crosshairs are the only thing that remind me that arrows pretty much shoot straight in Skyrim.
It's probably just the console version, but it deviates, I swear. It sometimes sways to the left, other to the right. Seeing two wolves, I lost about twenty arrows just trying to hit them staying still. Instead, I could probably batter up and score a home run using a mace. Bears and sabre-tooths are a different story. "Local Idiot Mauled by Three Bears, a Wolf, and a Troll Outside Riften"
Arrows always fire in a straight line, slightly above the crosshair.
So without the crosshair I just place the arrow head directly under where I want to hit when I have the bow drawn. I almost never miss.

It deviates depending on if you're strafing. For example, if you strafe to the right, the arrow flies to the right more, and visa versa with moving to the left.

It's quite satisfying to get a killing headshot while strafing in slow motion. You can see the arrow flying sideways towards the target then boom

Even when standing still, or else the wolves would have noticed and ran to maul my rear. Am I really the only one to object to the straight-shooting of bows? Or does this happen just at lower Archery levels?

That's auto-aim. I usually have a mod to deactivate it.

I always laugh my ass off when I shoot an arrow, get the slow mo effect, and then my arrow misses.

See, I'm used to archery requiring a bit of aiming upward in games. At least for the long distance shots. Hell, even Oblivion does it to an extent.
So in Skyrim, I keep trying to aim above targets that are semi far off, especially when I haven't played in a long time.

I more mean the slow motion you get while zooming in
On a totally urnelated note, I really wish I could make a sucesfful ~tru nord~ or ~tru dunmer~ character, they always look so fucking cool. I always get bored of them for some reason and a make an orc, wood elf or breton character.
Oh. Yeah I never level up Archery that high. I do get my archery up quite a few levels, I just don't put any skill points in it. I usually start with a Melee(orc) character, but I always carry a bow and arrows to snipe things.

Also for the guy earlier who was having trouble aiming the bow, I use the bow without crosshairs enabled and it is so fun and immersive.
I think my favorite part of the mods I installed would be project parallax and dynamic snow, as the improved snow reacts to the parallax maps and will settle all over rock faces and ruins in really interesting ways.
Mod list? I thought Project Parralax required ENB?

That is a stretch.
I know man, look at those bloody legs.
I think he's broken some bones.
Now I can see another guy who's leg is the island on the right side of Markarth and his head being the swamps above Morthal.
Mod list? I thought Project Parralax required ENB?
Nope, there is a version for enb and there is a version for vanilla.
Best part yet is that theyre aimed at the vanilla textures, so the mods I use focus on making better textures that stick to vanilla (sort of like amidianborn armor) so that these parralaxes work with really nice high resolution textures. There are about 55 mods in total and theyre all pretty easy to find and you probably have half of them already installed.
I will post the list once I have it completely ready. And I have to find the mods that don't affect the aesthetic (like third era attributes etc) and remove them from the list as together those mods are in the 90-120 total with the aesthetic.

That just gave me the biggest fit of laughter I've had in ages.
Thank you.
Oblivion's faces are gross, but the possibilities are endless:

Jauffre-senpai

Roland McBeetus

Ehmer (i couldn't think of any Altmer names, but he looked like a rugged canadian lumberjack)
Im still wondering who looked at the faces in oblivion and said "Yeah this is the next generation of video games and elder scrolls right here"
