Hmm, found out you can get frontal finishers as a stealth character... really helps to break up that tiresome "throat slit" animation.
If you alert an enemy right before you do a sneak attack, whilst standing at their front, you'll get the normal finishers.
Nothing like some assassin bolting out of a dark corner before beheading a bandit with a dagger :v:
Looking for mods that improves conjuration at higher levels, any recommendations? Not new summons per se, just something that boosts the hp/damage of my minions like what "destruction scaling" does for destruction.
Ehhem, Twin Dremora Lords do not need "improving"

I just thought of two things:
1. How can the Ebony Warrior go to Sovngarde? He's a Redguard.
2. Can half-nords go to Sovngarde?
I guess it's bring your elf to work day, today.

You had me until Crusher of the Stormcloaks.
Empire turned into a bunch of pussies when they lost to the Aldmeri Dominion.

Weakining the Empire means more power for Aldmeri Dominion, and there's no way Stormcloaks can defend all by itself.

Does anyone know what animation mods this is using? Looks slammin.

According to a book in-game, The Great War I think, the Empire had the Dominion in its knees. They pushed them out of Cyrodiil, hung both their generals from the White-Gold Tower, and had basically won. The Emperor then decided to make a truce with them. Whenever some Thalmor bitch says they won, they're straight-up lying unless they consider losing both their leaders and countless men a victory. The reason people hate the Emperor for making the truce isn't necessarily because he's bending over for the elves, it's because the truce he made after the war was, word for word, the agreement he turned down which started the war in the first place.
For me, I just thought of whether or not I'd rather be a Roman or a Viking, and Viking won out :v: Plus I usually side with rebels in games that let me, regardless of the morality.

My interpretation is more like that's just where the Thalmor steamroller stopped. The Empire was still functionally reduced to two and a half provinces and signed a treaty allowing their territory to be freely be policed by the victor, after a war of consistent loss that never left home turf and resulted in the sacking of their capital city.

Seriously can't believe they never released some DLC that acted as an epilogue to address all that shit.
I hope the next game takes place in valenwood/eslwyr (two thalmor satellite kingdoms) and revolves around either destroying the thalmor, or being given the option to side with them if Bethesda decides to have artistic integrity.
Daggerfalls political MQ was wicked awesome. "Hero of the world" storylines are tiresome and cliched anyways. Nothing like shoehorning a bloodthirsty assassin into becoming the second coming of christ
Shamelessly posting my Summon Spriggan mod here.
I've been wanting to go back and make it into a small quest to obtain the spells, but I never got around to it. I'm now taking the time to go back and make a small quest, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. Not so much the editing side of it, but the story side.
I want it to tie in with Snapleg Cave, since that doesn't seem to have any quest related to it, and it has a Spriggan you can save there.
I was thinking about putting an item inside the Spriggan's cell that you could take to some mage that would come up with the spell. I don't want anything too complicated. Something short and sweet.
Any suggestions/ideas are welcome.
Neat, I've been kinda wanting to RP a witch-like character, that fits nicely! Thanks! :v:
Anybody know why when ice-wraiths are around I'll randomly get hit by some kind of ice explosion (even if ice wraiths are attacking a summon) and then my character will become invisible before the entire screen goes grey and all UI assets freeze (apart from the enemy health bar, which keeps going down.) The game crashes after a while, though I can still load a previous save while it's like this. I have Requiem, SkyUI and SKSE.

I'll also often get this random ice wraith skateboard following me around indefinetly unless I remove it with some console commands. This happens extremely often, and one time it even did the whole grey-screen thing to me while I was out of combat.

I also permanently have these weird glowing eyes but I don't know if that's related or just something requiem does with the mage stone.

Without a doubt the easiest Dragon Priest fight I've ever had

I remember that fight being insta-death after insta-death.
Who thought giving mage clothing literally no armor value was a good idea?
Also this happened
I know he's supposed to be the "boss" of the college questline but I've had to kill him with the console every time I've gotten to him. He saps all your magicka and then insta-kills you. What the fuck.
Once again, Bethesda thinking that the best way to make something challenging is to just give it 4 trillion health and damage.
Atronach Stone + Dragonskin from Bretons gives you infinite mana and 0 damage for 60 seconds thanks to Absorbing Magic. Unfortunately, one takes up a Standing Stone and the other is exclusive to Bretons.

Mage clothing is worthless, get the Black Star, get ezpz grand souls from bandits and make yourself a free casting armor set
How long have you played on that character? I never encountered anything like that with Requiem. Did you remove any mods on that character?
I've never used any mods before Requiem, except for some combat mod - but that was on a completely different character. This was a fresh character specifically for Requiem, something like level 2 when I started getting these bugs outside Winterhold. I figured out how to remove them - adding and removing ice wraith abilities for the floating ice wraith below me, and adding and removing draugr abilities for the glowing eyes, but they still seem to come back randomly (atleast in the case of the ice wraith one) when I'm in an area with ice wraiths.
Huh, do you use Nexus Mod Manager to manage your mods? It could be some dirty uninstall that's been lingering around due to NMM, you should check your scripts folder to find anything not belonging to Requiem or the mods you have currently installed.
Oh, if you have a good rig and have the vsync disabled, it could cause skyrim to act really funky if you have high fps.
I have Requiem, SKSE, SkyUI and Frostfall (but this issue was showing up before I installed Frostfall). I think the mod I tried before was Deadly Combat, but that was a while ago and I'd uninstalled Skyrim since then, so this should be a fresh install with just those mods I listed. Don't have Nexus Mod Manager. As for the script folder, I don't really know what should be there, but at a glance it seems to just have the Requiem and Frostfall stuff right now. I don't really have a good computer, and I'm pretty sure my FPS is below 40.
The only time I've ever had trouble with dragon priests was when I was low leveled. The first priest I ran into was Krosis at the Sheapoint word wall. I had humbly kicked the ass of the dragon who was guarding it, and began approaching the word wall only to have Krosis pop out of his little grave and blow my ass to pieces.
After multiple tries at killing him I resorted to just quickly grabbing the word off the wall and running away like a little girl, then returning when I was higher leveled.

This happened to me but I managed to take Krosis down. From that point on 9 times out of 10 I save in front of a Word Wall in case something pops out and attacks.
Also this happens at the end of Bleak Falls Barrow. That's when I started to save in front of Word Walls, not the Krosis thing.
i just play skyrim with one finger hovering over the f5 button because I'm so terrified of everything
