When you guys played through Skyrim what kind of character did you have the most fun with?

Redguard spellsword. Best of both worlds.
Oh and a porn mod for the wife, of course :p
There was an interesting storyline, really cool puzzle, traps everywhere (some of which can be used to your advantage), significant difficulty and variety of enemies (i have monsters mod too though), and a great boss battle with a unique item reward.
Are you thinking of the same dungeon?
I am absolutely sure it was Ansilvund.
Guess I just got tired of all Skyrim dungeons so much that I don't even notice anything interesting.

2 handed, heavy armor wearing Nord. You just rape everything in 1 or 2 hits.
Animated Prostitution = Mod of the Gods

Assassin at first but then that transitioned to a sword and board warrior as everything gradually got more powerful.
Conjured Weapon spellsword was fun too
Sneak, dual daggers and bow with very light armor.
I cant go back, I've tried a heavy armored nord with two handed swords but I cant find it as fun as being an stealthy bastard.
Anybody find it nicer to play skyrim in the cold weather?
I think it might be caused by me playing it in November, when it was really cold when skyrim came out, or it just is like an immersion factor.

I like to play it with cold weather but I mostly play in the summer because I have a lot of free time at that time.

And that's the curse of Skyrim.
To me, it feels friendly and nostalgic during the winter time; very cozy and stuff. But I got school, exams and homework. When I do get a Christmas break, I need to be with my family and stuff.
During the summertime, it feels too uncomfortably hot in Florida, so I don't feel like playing a game like skyrim during that time.
One time I managed to get a killmove with a crossbow.
I then proceeded to brutally shove the front of the crossbow into the face of a Frostbite Spider, then pulled it back out.
The delights of dual wielding come with how hilariously oversimplified enchant is. Enchant both swords with elemental damage and watch how everything dies instantly.

uhm surely you mean sexlab???
uhm surely you mean sexlab???
You can see the sarcasm in my post by the fact that I don't know the hip and new sex mods of skyrim that all the kids are using these days.

I've done a bunch, but one of the more interesting builds I think is an illusionist type character. Actually winds up being extremely powerful
Can just sneak go thorough dungeons as some sort of poltergeist, frenzying people and then resurrecting any enemies that fall, allthewhile hiding in the shadows. Resurrection spells basically have infinite distance so you can sort of "snipe" dead bodies from afar and then sneak around during the havok. Obviously illusion is good for being a thief as well since you can calm people who spot you, or cause guards to flee from you so they can't arrest/kill you

Khajiit shooting fire out one hand, the other swinging around knocking people the fuck out.

I've been doing an illusion theif but only illusion to muffle or make invisible, I never thought of playing it that way dude that's awesome I've gotta try that
Uhm, surely you mean sexlab?
The kids are not up with those kinds of mods, in fact, most of them are interested in "realistic beast animations".
Gonna re install skyrim+dlcs after not playing since dragonborn dlc was released. What are some essential/awesome mods I should have for my new playthrough?

Yeah muffle levels up the skill quickly, so it's a good idea to keep using it

My favorite one is a stealthy archer with points in light armor, one-handed, and conjuration. At the height of that playthrough I was able to summon a pair of Dremora Lords and pick off everything they didn't immediately eviscerate.
In all of my playthroughs I like to make myself some custom followers and get a DnD-type party going by filling in my own weaknesses with followers specced into whatever I ignored. A three-man crew with a sword-n-board, an archer, and a conjurer/pyromancer is pretty terrifying to witness. We can bulldoze high-level dungeons like it was nothing.

I tried this build out and had so much fun with it. Almost every battle I'd summon a pair of Flame Atronachs, cast Flame Cloak, then charge in with Dawnbreaker and wreck everything that moved. If I had to deal with distant enemies or dragons before I learned Dragonrend, I'd use Highborn and spam Incinerate after conjuring my atros. It pained me to have to kill my favorite faction, the Dark Brotherhood, but when I go for a roleplaying-type build like this, I stick to the lore as closely as I can.

I'm probably going to try it out again now that I have Dawnguard.

Or spam Courage on every NPC.
Frenzy strong enemy, once it dies, revive it and cast courage on it and the other buff alteration skills to make it jump about 15 levels in scaling then send it barreling down the middle hallway in a dungeon.
I can just sit and eat a sandwich and listen to the screams while monolouging the dead high elf skulls I collect.
My ingame character is so social!!!

Why not cast courage on the strong enemy in the first place? It works.
Because frenzy does not distinguish friend from foe I thought?
Why would I want that hugely overpowered enemy barreling towards me after he kills his comrades?
Good for leveling up?
Also, how's that mod list coming along? Did you figure out which one was causing those CTDs?

To be honest I havn't made any progress on it at all, college and work are taking up a lot of my time right now. The ctd's are still there, though I think it may be inconsequential npcs fucking with DFB.

It dropped to the low 70s this past weekend in Miami and I just had to bust out the Skyrim. Feels so great playing in the winter. Hopefully we see more dips this season, these last few years have been horrible.
