Which brings me to my next question: anyone knows some good and easy to install graphics mods for Oblivion? OBGE looks good, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to install.

You could use sweetfx or an enb. The presents for the enbs are terrible though.

It may not be as customizable as ENB but it can make games look 100 times better at a much lower performance cost.

The problem with fxaa injector/ sweetfx is they are just altering the rendered image, really. ENB will actually inject new or altered shaders into the game.

That tomb in the final picture (I'm not going to mention the other towns, though I recognise them) - Isn't that the one where you have to get the skull for the Balmora Mages Guild orc to get her research notes on the whole Nerevarine schtick?

Speaking of remakes, wasn't there a Skyrim mod that recreates Oblivion? I know that there is Skywind, but was Oblivion remade at all?

Ah damnit. I installed a mod that converts Skyrim into a permanent winter as a test, and apparently it came with Lush Trees and Grasses. I can't find which fucking files it was. I'm going to try to make a balance patch for Skyrim's leveled lists and maybe add some more versions of limited enemies like Skeletons so that they scale better. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips before I plunge into the game's guts?

So I enter Windhelm, and suddenly a horde of 10 master vampires teleport in and kill me in about 3 seconds. Apparently I have Dawnguard installed now for no reason. Go figure.

So I'm thinking of doing a sort-of in character LP of skyblivion when it finally releases. Might be cool.

A couple days ago my Skyrim started flickering black for about 1 and a half seconds, but resumed the gameplay. Because of this, I keep getting repeatedly fucked by trolls, wolves, guards, mages, you name it. It doesn't seem to have a pattern, it just happens randomly and either once for a long while or several times in quick succession. Does anybody have a fix for this?

To be perfectly honest I don't really see the appeal in all those TES-ported-in-another-engine because at the moment it's perfectly possible to upgrade each of those games without switching the engine. What I'd really like to see is an upgrade for Daggerfall and Arena. Daggerfall already has eye of argovia which quite frankly is all you need to play the game at its full capacity, but Arena is now completely unplayable by modern standards because the control scheme is out of its fucking mind, it doesn't make any sense and the lack of native mouse view makes it insanely hard to play. It's a shame too, because the randomly generated stuff makes for a really fun game.
