Skyrim is awfully colourless for being a fantasy version of a scandinavic country, even if very far in the north but yeah it should not look like that on the mountains.

The game really loses a lot of its value when you run out of stuff to do.[/QUOTE] I got bored a while back so I decided to power level myself up to the point of absurd OPness (IE: morrowind levels of OP) Just enchant a shield with like 50% fortify block, then go to giant camps and spend maybe a few hours (skyrim time, not irl time) blocking the huge attacks giants make on you. You level up block with basically every hit and you can get to player level 100+ pretty easily by legendary'ing the skill repeatedly. Got my character to armor cap, had 100% spell absorption (vampire with necromage perk) and some 900 magicka.. good times. Legendary difficulty still gives you a run for your money and the destructiveness of combat just becomes awesome at those levels.

Is there any mods that add more beam or spray type spells to the game? I want to start over as a spellsword but the plethora of fire and forget spells is really off putting.

The "wall of X" spells are a reliable spray spell for destruction... not sure what else you'd be looking for, TES spells are almost always fire and forget

How come like half of enb configs come with those fucking black bars? If I wanted black bars I'd play at a 16:9 resolution Whats the train of though on that exactly? Here, lets spend all this graphical power rendering all these new shaders, then lets cover 20% of the screen with a black bar overlay that does absolutely nothing except making your screenshots look stupid

You can always remove the black bars in the ENB config file.

Some people like the cinematic feeling of the letterbox once you disable all the HUDs, really looks like you're playing a movie. Also what does 16:9 have to do with letterbox? You seem a little hostile.

Just had an hour long encounter with Alduin and 4 dragons. I had two followers with me and we fought 4 of them consecutively at one point. The fight was a very mobile one. Lasted all the way from Nightgate inn to Windhelm. Durnehviir also lend us a hand so it was essentially 6 dragons and 3 nords. Stuff of legend! I'm almost inclined to upload the screenshots i just HAD to take during the fight. appropriately. it was all during a thunder-storm at night. Holy fuck, i haven't felt this way while playing Skyrim since release. It's always so freaking dull and predictable and then it just stacks shit like this on top of me. It isn't even Late-game material, i'm only level bloody 18! I can't help but think of Gandalf fighting the Balrog up and down the stairs of Zirak-zigil. Nurde-gasm!

Speaking of ENB, anyone got any decent configs for gameplay that runs on enb 0.217+?

I placed my bedroll down but the fucker disappeared on me. So I do the next best thing and I head to Riverwood to sleep. While looking through Orgnar's merchant inventory, I notice some thing quite odd. The fucker had a Daedra Heart. I'm level 7. See anything wrong here?

Obviously you running 16:9 would result in letterboxing, but as a general example it's a little weird.

And it's a good way to get a practical letterbox effect without it being forcibly burned into your screenshots and videos
