No no no! Ultima 9 was!
What's a good way to get better at smithing for Skyrim? Can't do mods or DLC due to it being the console version, and I reeeeally want Elven or glass armor. No one around seems to be selling the armor itself.

Practice, training... Jewellery gives hefty chunks of XP but are expensive to buy materials for.

Either go raid the thalmor or grind. Smithing in Skyrim has no design for its progression. All you do is make a set of armor and upgrade it and any other progression is mostly purposeless farming.

The silver/gold just seems to be the hard part since my amethyst and garnet amount seem to be rather plentiful at around ten each. Just did a couple of silver garnet rings and levelled up two smithing levels. This would make a good enchanting opportunity.
You find plenty of it in dungeons. Try doing the companions questline or do the forsworn conspiracy quest.

The author even referenced taking inspiration from light sabers.
I find it hilarious that now a successor to Oblivion has been made, suddenly tons of people are saying it's their favorite ever. I remember when so many people called it irredeemable shit and praised Morrowind instead.
There are a huge amount of things I liked about Skyrim but it falls significantly behind Oblivion in the wonderful story telling and the memorable characters. I'd take memorable characters over realistic characters.
Potato Faces > Juniper Berries
Just what Elder Scrolls needed, fishing rods

From the beta yeah, I watched the while video he played like shit. Didn't follow any of the quest instructions. Didn't look like he was trying to play properly
Looks like he was playing with the graphics on all low as well.

Now take into account and include those good features in TES VI
ALONG WITH the best features from TES'es III IV & V
Skyrim (specifically Dawnguard) is officially the first game that's made me physically sick, the indignant but I can prevert myself from vomiting kind, not the I span around too fast kind.

Oblivion Lockpicking?
I'm down.

I thought nobody liked Oblivion's lockpicking system. How does the system this game uses even work? It looks like you're just holding down the mouse button instead of the "hit it while it's up"-minigame, which I personally found to be understandable.
I also notice how they still claim "Skyrim's gameplay" has the exact same meaning as "things that may remind you of other Elder Scrolls games". It's like saying any liquid is water.

Speaking to Serana about vampirism and how she aquired it

When that guy started explaining about the crafting system I got that Sims feeling from the character animations.
Speaking to Serana about vampirism and how she aquired it
Yeah, because the fucking God of Rape is known for being romantic.

I don't really remember much about that conversation other than "It was painful and I didn't like it, but I dun' wanna be human again." I do remember that she got it directly from Molag Bal and lorewise that's supposed to suck hardcore, but the details elude me.

I remember after talking to the guy in the marshes who can cure vampirism that if you talk to serena you can convince her to become human again.

The lord of rape strikes again!
Also, Serana is pretty much like stuffing a teenage girl in a fantasy game. Her character does not fit at all, because the stereotypical whiny "teenagers" we see today are actually part of the worker class created in the industrial revolution. Back in the time Skyrim is set to, a woman by the age Serana looks like she is is actually supposed to sit at home, learning how to be a housewife until a young man comes along and gets her pregnant.
Leah from Diablo 3 gave me the exact same impression, Serana and her are almost the same person.

This is a world where women are commonly doing everything men are, and facing very little discrimination. It kinda doesn't apply here. Fantasy games tend not to be very historically accurate with stuff like this anyway, unless they're aiming for a darker world or something.
You talking about me, or Molag Bal?
Unless you somehow grow tentacles from over-using estrus for your own amusement (and possibly sexual fantasies), I'm going to guess the other one.
Edit: Actually, my guess may be on Yotrig from h.a.m.m.e.r.f.e.l.l, he'd seem like someone who'd be able to do such a thing.

I never said I didn't expect it, just that it sickened me.
