I remember trying to use that one, but the ENB binary it was asking for isn't archived anymore.
I'm using the latest binary and it works fine.
Holy fuck, trying to take down a family of netches is quite hard when you're armed with only an elven sword and Flames while being level 10
At least I got their leather and jelly. All I need now is to find 2 more void salts, 1 more netch jelly, and a fuckload of bonemeal. Improved Bonemold you will be mine.
There's some really cool looking people in my game, and at the same time some really goofy looking people.
It doesn't do that anymore, I just forgot to update the description
I might be using an old version, but this really funks up killmoves, even in first person. Is this still the case - or am I the only one?

I think its time to purge my modlist
On an unrelated note, the entire inside of the Black Briar Meadery seems to have disappeared. Anyone know how I can fix that?
I shudder at the thought that could had been an actual Giant Spider.
But, he seems friendly enough in the neighbourhood.
In Skyrim I wanted to try out the Space Marine armor mod again.
The result was an Angry Marine german suplexing a grandma.

Found one! [sp]Kountervibe ENB Extensive with Ambient Occlusion turned off since it rapes my FPS[/sp]
That stuff's realy pretty.
I don't know why they didn't add some kind of enb-like tint to the vanilla game in the first place. The game would look much nicer if every dungeon/house had it's own fog/colour correction at least.

Every exterior and interior cell does have its own fog and color correction, as well as an "imagespace" which also adjusts the lighting. The problem is that they're all set to the same desaturated blue or yellow tint, and then the game's built-in filters (which can be disabled via console command) wash out even more color and make the specular lighting look like wet rubber. The result is gray fire, gray trees, gray snow, and gray sky.
The work of the graphics artists is basically ruined by whoever was in charge of filters and lighting.

I remember using an astartes mod that basically made you super tall and buff, I couldnt even get into most doors I was so tall
Anyone happen to have/know the fix for the green underwater bug/thing? I got a new laptop, and whenever I go underwater the entire view is green. I didn't have this problem with my desktop, and I'd like to fix it since, ya know, it's important to see underwater (also I have a huge phobia of being in deep water with things swimming in them, even in video games, and not being able to see any of it really freaks me out.)
I need one more Void Salt.
Just one more.
One more.
I just tried Requiem and holy fuck that shit is hard
Anyone know what the fuck's up with this grass?

You're shrinking.
You're shrinking.
I more meant the giant fucking lines all over them.
Probably an issue with shadows. There's an option somewhere that lets you turn on shadow rendering for grass (which is an option that was added in a later patch), try turning it off and see if that still happens.
Thanks, that did it!

So I tried that player physics SKSE plugin and it works great when out of combat. However, when I get in combat, it drops the fps by a good 10 and makes me insanely slow, so any sort of mage enemy can rape me because I can't actually move and get close to them.

I've always been wondering about this. What's the difference between this and skyre?
I've always been wondering about this. What's the difference between this and skyre?
Skyre is a moderate overhaul of some perks and general gameplay, actually a slightly altered vanilla.
Requiem shits you in the world and makes you suffer like the unleveled turd you are. Fireballs are death incarnated and arrows are a huge pain in the ass, leveling is tedious and everything hates you. If you manage to survive long enough you can start to arise from crap to slightly more experienced manure.
Interesting NPCs seems nice, quests look good, voices from the videos are moderate to good but does it break Skyrim lore?

Pretty much sums it up. Everything wants, and will, kill you. Over, and over, and over.

On the bright side of things though, drinking alcohol in Requiem makes you get fucked up with wibbly wobbly screen effects. You at least don't have to be sober as you get your ass kicked.
One nice thing about Requiem is that the in game options for the mod are massive. You can get rid of all the really annoying aspects, like losing stamina when wearing heavy armor. Once those are taken care of I find Requiem to be a lot of fun.

So Skyre is The Sims and Requiem is Baldur's gate?
But you can invest in first heavy armor perk to not lose stamina.
I know, but it's still an annoying and unrealistic function. "Heavy" armor isn't SO heavy that a regularly fit person can't stand it in just fine.

Yes that's because the way I do collision is a complete hack
I need to find a collision function to hook and apply equal/opposite force. Speaking of force I might add an option to make inventory mass affect physics.

The problem with difficulty mods is that it is only really that difficult because the controls don't give you fluid and fast responses to do crazy maneuvers and dodge shit.
