I'm using OBMM for .omod files but otherwise I just copy over files to the data folder. I've used wrye bash in the past and it worked fine but I really didn't need it because I don't need a bashed patch.

And if anything was to overwrite anything, it backs it up, so if you remove the mod, it restores previous data, where as OBMM just throws it all away. Not like that matters for Vanilla only assets, as they'll just then be read from the BSAs, but for other stuff, that is very helpful to have. Also all of it's other useful functions. Worth the 5 or so minutes to get used to it for sure.

If you [i]do[/i] want to and are just looking for a reason, check out big stuff like Wyrmstooth, or get some new effects like "Burn freeze shock effects" and that Undead FX off the steam workshop. It's amazing how much little changes like those can do.

Just sold an ebony cuirass to the Mudcrab Merchant in Morrowind. I now have over 12k gold at the very beginning of the game. I feel like I just cheated.
